Connor POV

I came to school before the bell for once. I woke up an hour earlier than I usually do. I guess I just feel good today. I definitely feel good today.

I sat by Jared who was nodding his head to the music in his earbuds. He looked up at me an took one of them out. "Well, well, well. Murphy showed up early?"

"And I'm tired as fuck."

"Aren't we all?"

"Yeah."

Jared changed his song and then looked back up. "So you're dating my son, correct?"

"What?"

"Evan. He's my boi."

"Um okay. Well yeah." I smiled at just saying that.

"Okay. If you hurt him though, I'll fight you," he said, punching his hand and dropping his phone doing that. "Oh good It didn't crack!"

Evan POV

I dread going to physics because of Zoe, but she had some jazz band rehearsal thing to do during class so I got to sit by this totally-not-a-loser, Michael Mell. He seems really nice.

The bell finally rang for lunch. I went to my locker to grab my lunch. Ah my familiar blue lunchbox I've use since the fourth grade. Suddenly it was snatched out of my hand and held above my head. Luckily Jared is shorter than me, so I grabbed it back easily.

"Dammit tall people."

"I'm taller by almost two inches."

"Whatevs. I'm gonna grab some subway. Want anything?"

"Nope. Thanks."

"Sweet. Catch ya later, tall ass." ((Rich is that u??))

Then Connor came up behind me and covered by eyes. I only knew it was him because I saw the smiley face I drew on his hand.

"Hi."

"Hiii," he replied, holding the i. "Where's Jared?"

"Subway. Again."

"Ah. They have the best chips."

"You know you can buy their chips at their stores too. Like Lays, Sun Chips, whatever."

"Fuck me. Actually??"

"..Yeah."

"Wow. I'm- that's amazing. Wow." Connor picked up my hand and held it like he won it at a contest. Never mind, winning a hand is weird. You get what I mean. It made me a little nervous but he squeezed it and that like squeezed out all the air I was holding in. I feel great now.

That happened in my dream, like wow Lays chips?? What kinda miracle is this?? Idk I'm weird
