In the pitch black of the living room that was being lit by the TV that had the news playing, sitting on the arm chair was Shadow, his ears pinned when he heard the news and he quickly and quietly started to lock his door, and windows, making sure he had his communicator on. He swallows the lump in his throat, he just this day would come. At least he had time to prepare through the nine months, he made his way to Rouge's room to wait for that voice of that psycho, or to hear Midnight barking.

"I'll...keep you safe Rouge..." Shadow said to himself, he's been telling himself that...even to his own hallucinations, he didn't want to fail her...like he did with his wife.

Sonic licks the blood away from his hands, his body was covered in cuts, and bullet wounds, the blue hedgehog had a crazed looking on his face, he finally snapped after months of torture and testing just to fix him to be normal-ish.

He looks down at the gun that he used to killed the guard, he wasn't much of a gun person but he'll keep it now. "Now...all I need to do is get my stuff back...than we can go find Shads" he smiled his ear twitches and he pulls out the doll that he made that was stained with blood.

"Aww Shads...can't you believe it...we can finally reunite and be a happy family~" Sonic tells the doll before he just laughs to himself shoving the doll back into his backpack that he stolen. He started to make his way out of the scene of the crime, into the darkness that is night.

"He's in for a real shock!"

Sonic hums to himself as he started walking in the direction of Station Square, he had to stay hidden now that police know that he's escaped, nothing like he hadn't done before when he was stalking down Shadow.

"I said this before Shadow...No one betrays me and gets away with it"
