Cas's cloths get done in the washer after a while and you transfer them to the dryer Cas closely watches you, making sure you don't hurt his trench coat.

"Cas it's ok, your cloths will be ok" You say putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Come on, let's go get some food."

"Yes my vessel appears to be cursed with the hunger" Cas says looking down at his stomach.

"You're hungry Cas. Its normal" You say walking out the door and across the road to a small diner.

You sit down and wait a while before a waitress walks over and takes your drink orders.

"I'll have an ice tea" You say not even looking up at her but at the menu instead.

Cas makes full eye contact with her and says, "I would like the water" The waitress winks at him and walks away.

"What was that thing she did with her eye" Cas asks trying to mimic the woman's wink but failing miserably, "She closed one eye but not the other. I thought that blinking involved both eyes" Cas had personal experience with blinking, he didn't know it was necessary until his eyes started watering and hurting him.

"It's called winking Cas, some people do it when they flirt, then others, like Dean, wink when they lie or use sarcasm" You explain to him showing him your best wink.

"Oh." Cas says when the woman comes back with your drinks and asks what you will order.

"I'll have a bacon cheeseburger and fries, Cas that sound good to you?" You say and Cas nods back "Make it two then" You say and the waitress licks her lips seductively at Cas then walks away.

"Ok so for a very important lesson on being a human guy" You say taking a sip of your tea and Cas mimics your actions "How to treat a woman" You grin, Dean will love hearing about this later.

"The proper way to handle females like yourself?" Cas asks folding his hands in his lap.

"Yeah, that; well the first thing is, you never make fun of a girl when she's crying, or if she's on her time of the month, got it" You say not wanting to go into elaborate detail about the second one.

"What am I to do when a girl cries then" Cas says enthusiastically, wanting to know more.

"You hug her and tell her it's gonna be alright, ask what's wrong, rub her back and get a tub of ice cream to eat with some movies, if she doesn't want to talk about it don't pry for answers." You say going through the list of what you do and don't like Dean doing when you're sad.

"Oh ok. Dean doesn't feed women when their sad." Cas says tilting his head in his own special way.

"Yeah that's cuz Dean can be a dick" You say slightly irritated at remembering what Dean liked to do "Sam does that kind of stuff though."

"Ok so what else is there to know about womankind?" Cas asks right as the waitress comes over with your food.

"Ooh talking about how to treat a lady huh" The waitress asks "Better to get some good guys out there, they're hard to find" She grins and walks away.

"Alrighty then, so some girls are very insecure about themselves, Their weight, height, hair, just about anything there is. Always compliment a girl's looks in some way if she asks if you like her outfit, or if she looks ok" You say between bites of burger, Cas nods still listing.

"Mm that's another thing you're good at, listing, even if you don't care about what the girl is talking about at least make an attempt to listen to what she's saying." You spend the next few hours informing Castiel in on what is good to do for women and what most cookie cutter girls like, you check your phone and see that it's almost 6pm.

"We should head back soon" You say calling over the waitress and ordering some food for Sam and Dean and adding on an entire pie to the order.

When you get back to the motel Dean and Sam have pulled up and get out, walking over to you and Cas.

"Ooh is this for us?" Dean asks taking a bag of food from your arms and peeking inside "Ugh rabbit food, this must be Sam's then" He says handing the white paper sack to Sam.

"Thanks (y/n)." Sam says walking up the stairs to the room you all were staying in.

"So is what all did you guys end up doing today?" Dean asks when you're inside the motel room.

"(y/n) instructed me on being human, and showed me helpful normalities to perform" Cas says nearly jumping up and down from all his new knowledge.

"Oh did she now" Dean says nodding his head and taking out the burger you had gotten for him, "This looks great, thanks babe" Dean says pulling everything out.

"Wait what?" You say, did he call you babe?

"He said thanks for the food (y/n)" Cas says matter of factually, you nod still a little doubtful of what the older Winchester had actually said.

"Yeah, ok, there's pie too" You say, shrugging off your doubts until later, and hand the whole pie to Dean who's eyes go wide at the sight.

Dean must have saw the sad look on your face, because he looks at you with hints of worry in his own eyes and raises an eyebrow to ask a silent question. 'You ok?'

"Oh my God, just kiss already" Sam says behind you, making you jump then run off to the bathroom before any of them could see your blush; you stay in there calming yourself down enough to where you could go back out, which you do, and go straight to bed on the pull out couch bed.

You hear Sam and Dean argue behind you but choose to ignore it, you were sorting out your own things right now and they weren't helping very much, Cas comes around the bed and bids you goodnight then takes one of the twin size beds, leaving you alone on the queen size pull out.

In your sleep shorts the bandage over your leg shows slightly from where you had given into your sadness earlier today, eventually you fall asleep, hoping that whoever ends up in the bed with you won't want to talk or ask about your legs.
