Luke's POV

I walked into his office to talk about Sky's fate. I could handle her, I needed a project. That is what's wrong with me, I've been raised in the gang so everything I do is either a game, project or a job. That's all I've known, she s a very pretty girl and my sister thinks I should start acting like a human. So I want to help this girl. She did trust me but I don't know what happened now.

"Luke?" Liam said in a surprised tone, "I was not expecting you to be here. You were supposed to be finishing that job I gave you." He said giving me a side glance before going back to polishing his handgun which was a Glock 17.

"Yes sir, I have made arrangements for the job to be done tonight. I am here to talk about the girl." I said in a stricken tone.

"What is there to talk about, she is to be put down under the cover of night and hidden in the morgue as a body with no identification." He said no looking up from his gun.

"Why yes sir as easy as that would be, let me take the girl home and train her. Once she is healed, she can be trained and become a lower ranking in the gang. I'm sure once you get her back to a normal state of mind she will have bloodlust for those who had her captured." I was trying to come up with an excuse to keep her from dying in an hour.

Liam turned around in his chair, "I'm Listening".

"If I can get her to a normal state of mind and heal her. I could become her mentor. Once she was ready I could put her through the same program we put the guys through, and if she passes she is in and then if she doesn't you can continue with your plan." I said walking over to the list of names on the wall of all who have been in the gang, then ones with a cross next to them were dead.

"Well Luke you always seem to surprise me, I thought you were going to come in her and beg form her to be released. I will grant you this wish, and I will not give you as many jobs so you can start training her. You are Dismissed."

"Yes sir." I nodded my head as he turned back around in his chair. When I walked back out the door I saw Sky sitting on the ground with the two guards taking turns cutting a little bit of her hair, not enough to make her appearance change but enough to make her whimper every time they cut a piece. "What are you two doing?!" I roared at them, all three of them jumped in surprised and the two men dropped their knives.

"Nothing Sir. We were just trying to have a little fun Sir." One of them said while trying to kick the knives and pieces of her hair into the shadows.

"Recruits and Mentors here now!" I yelled down the tunnel, my voice echoing off the walls. Within a minute almost all of the gang members were standing in the hall way. "Now I am going to offer you all a lesson from the Second in command, I gave these to men a simple job, which was to watch over this girl and not let her get away. Now when I came back to get the girl they were sitting here cutting her hair off. Raise your hand if you remember me telling them to touch or harm her in any way", I paused daring someone to speak against me. Liam didn't care what I did with the men as long as he got a paid day. "No one herd me say that? Then why did these men do what they did?" no one answered, "Hold them down!" Four men walked over to the guards and held them down while I grabbed a knife, I stalked over to them and stared to shave of their hair, I wasn't being careful about is either. When I was done their heads were bleeding and there were still areas where they still had hair but over all looked very bad. "This is your punishment for disobeying my orders. If anyone else dares to disobey they will be looking worse then these two men. Dismissed!" I got lots of Yes sirs in reply and once everyone had cleared out, the two men who I had punished were sent to our medic and two new men replaced them at the door. I bent down and gently scooped Sky up into my arms. She was shaking slightly but over all still alright. We had a long walk before we got back to my home so I gently whispered into her ear. "Go to sleep, you are in safe hands." And as if she was waiting for permission she laid her head on my chest and went right to sleep.
