She didn't sleep, didn't eat, didn't talk.

Once again, she had fallen into a deep hole of hopelessness.

When ever he tried to ask if she wanted to go outside, take a shower or do anything, she refused to respond. For the most part, his voice faded into the background like the faint buzz of TV static.

Slowly, she began to drain away into the bed- unresponsive and motionless. Although she physically laid in that bed, her mind was elsewhere in some place between this life and the next. It was calm there. Peaceful. Welcoming.

Maybe if she was lucky enough, the rest of herself would follow there soon enough.
