We put Raven in the infirmary and hooked her up to the cords. Then hooked up the cords to the canister. Cyborg built a small machine to pump her powers back into her. That sounds a little weird but it's the best I can describe it.

"And you're sure this is going to work Cy?" I asked.

"I know it will. And it has to BB. Or else I don't know if Raven will wake up." He answered. Not really the answer I wanted to hear, but good enough. "Go Robin."

Robin flipped the switch and the black stuff went through the cords and into Raven. About five minutes in she started floating. Now I know she's going to be ok.

***TIME JUMP***

Ugh!! This is taking forever! I went to the bathroom, watched TV and ate dinner and Raven is still not up yet. It's like 11 now. I volunteered to keep watch on Raven while the rest of them slept. I don't care if I lose sleep. I won't be able to sleep anyways if I don't know Raven's ok, so what's the point.

I'm not even tired at this point.

I checked the canister and it was almost empty.

Finally.

I don't know why this is taking so long. I was easy to take 'em out. They should go in just as easily...Right?

I looked at the canister again. I saw some black stuff go back into the canister.

Is her body...rejecting her powers? That's not good.

She finally opened her eyes and say up.

"Oh...my head. How did I get back to the Tower...Beast Boy?" She seemed surprised to see me.

"Raven!" I said happily. I gave her a big hug, and waited for her to punch me.

"Youre hugging me." I let her go.

"We freed you from the Swami and gave you your powers back!" I explained.

"Really?" She seemed really confused. She raised her hand and made a black sphere. She gasped and it disappeared.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah. Yeah. I just, thought I was...dead. That machine hurt a lot." She looked like she was about to cry.

"Raven. It's fine. You're home now. We're all home." I comforted her. She gave me a VERY small smile. I think she even blushed.

I wonder if I should tell her that her body was rejecting some of her powers. Eh. No. Now is not the best time. It's probably not a big deal.

Raven's P.O.V

I really did think I was dead. It was very dark, a lot darker than I like it to be. It was, somewhat comforting to see Beast Boy. But, I feel, strange. Like something isn't right about me. I don't sense any presence in me, so I guess it's nothing.

I looked out the window. It was dark.

"Beast Boy, what time is it?" I asked.

"'Round 11 ish." He answered.

"Really? When did you bring me home?"

"Umm, maybe we got back at like eight or nine?"

"It took about 3 hours for my powers to come back?" I honestly didn't think it would have been that long.

"Yeah. I was able to grab the canister with your powers in it and Cy made a small machine to give you your powers back." He held up some cords in his hand. That's when I finally realized I've got suction cups on my body. I pulled them off and gave them Beast Boy.

"I'll thank them in the morning. I'm going to go to my room." When I tried to get up from the cot and put wight on my legs they almost buckled under me.

"Raven!" I braced myself on Beast Boy's shoulder.

"I'm fine." I straightened up and walked out of the room. That didn't work out to well either so I decided to levitate myself instead.

I got to my room and stared at my bed. I fell back first into my bed. I missed my bed. Even though I was only gone for a day. Just in case I'm going to cast a protection spell.

I brought some bottles of moondust over and made a three circles on the ground and I sat in between all three. Then I took some candles and put them in the middle of the circles and lit them. Then I brought over the Book of Azar, opened it, and turned to page 481. I crossed my legs and recited the incantation.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos, Checarak Moquen Xenas, Protection, Protection, Protection!!" Now I'm protected.

Now I'm going to go to sleep. I've got a small headache, which made it a little difficult to fall asleep.

*yawn* I actually slept well last night. But oddly, I dreamt of Beast Boy saving me from something in his Beast form. I wonder if actually did that to save me from the Swami. It would have been nice if he did.

Ugh! What am I saying?

I'm going to get some tea. I put on my cloak and left my room to go to the living room. When I walked in everybody except Beast Boy stared at me.

"Friend Raven! You are awake!" Starfire exclaimed.

"Hi Star." I said.

"You ok Rave?" Robin asked.

"I have a small headache but otherwise I'm fine."

Cyborg walked over to me in awe.

"What's wrong Cyborg?" I asked.

"Guys, look at her forehead." They looked and gasped.

"What?" Now I'm kind of worried.

"Rae, you know that gem you usually have on your forehead?" Beast Boy gestured towards my chakra gem.

"Of course Beast Boy. It's always been there." I told him. I don't exactly see what the problem is.

"Umm...it's not there anymore."

"What are you talking about?"

"Look." Beast Boy handed me a mirror. My eyes got wide.

"What?!" I groped where my chakra used to be.
"What what what what what what?! Where did it– wait." I ran over to the kitchen and tried moving a ham with my powers. They worked fine. I sighed a breath of release.

"Your powers are still working. That's good." Robin said.

"But my chakra being gone isn't." I said upset.

"Um, heh heh. I guess now is a good time as ever to tell you." I think Beast Boy is going to be the bearer of bad news.

"Tell me what?" I asked hesitantly.

"That when you were taking back your powers, towards the end your body was rejecting some and taking them back in, then rejecting some and taking back in, and– well you get the idea." I froze.

"I...wasn't taking back my powers?"
"At first no, then you did, then you didn't, then you did, and well, yeah." Beast Boy went on.

"Raven we should keep you under watch. Nothing crazy though. Just the cameras will always be on. Ok?" Robin suggested.

"Ok." I said. I made my tea and went back to my room.

And I plan on staying there the rest of the day.
