Chapter 8// Trail Two

"Go"

Those are the words the would've had me terrified.
I'm not sure what happened, but I was ready to do this. To go through with it.
No one stopped me from getting kidnapped, so why will I still trust the hero's?
They should've helped, but no one came.

Wait. This is what the villains want.
They want to try to make me snap like this and blame the hero's, then again...
My thoughts trail off when Deku puts his hand on my should and forcefully guides me out of the room.

I feel a horrible pit in my stomach. As if I was about to throw up.
It kept getting worse and worse, I could feel my hands shaking.
I think Deku took note of that because he stopped walking and muttered something under his breath I couldn't make out. He then turned to me.
"I don't blame you for being scared. But trust me, once you do this it won't be that bad."
Is that all he was able to say to me?
That it "Won't be that bad"?
Is he crazy!?

He says it won't be that bad, but of course it'll be that bad!
"I think I'm going to puke..." I say, quickly covering my mouth.
Deku groans and looks at the ceiling.

"We can't stop today's trial, but we can take breaks. Tell me when you need a breather, then we can duck into an alleyway or something."
Deku sucks at trying to make people feel better.
Anyway I nod my head and we finally leave this wretched building.
I inhale some fresh air, and look around, then at the sky.
It would be beautiful day if I didn't have to kidnap someone.

We walk around for what seems to be hours, until we finally see someone who's alone.
It didn't look like they were waiting for anyone.
Me and Deku look at eachother and he gives a slight nod.

Deku wasn't allowed to give me any advice or tell me what to do, I was on my own, so I decided to tail them.
There were too many people around at the moment to strike, so I just walk over and stand near them.

It was a boy about the same age as me and Deku.
He had yellow hair with a black thunder bolt in it.
He was totally distracted by nothing, and nobody seemed to be looking at him.
Here was one awkward thing:
I've obviously never kidnapped anyone before, so I have no clue what in the hell I was supposed to be doing.
So, I did the only thing that actually made sense.

I tapped him on the shoulder and then he looked at me.
He gave me a flashy smile.
I then recognised him. He was the hero, Chargebolt.
Wow, this one might be difficult, but still worth it sense he was a hero.

He looked at me and tilted his head a bit. "Hey, are you ok?"
I froze, not knowing how to respond to his question.
I finally had an idea after about a minute.
"You don't have to answer..but I recognize you as the pro-hero Chargebolt, am I correct?"
His smile seemed to widen.
"Yes, it is. Can I help you, cutie~?" He asks with a wink.
I roll my eyes and ignore the last comment.
"Actually, you can. You see-" I took a deep breath and exhaled.
"I heard some sketchy people talking in an alleyway. They were making a plot against hero's, I think, and they did seem really dangerous. There's more to it but I can't even begin to speak about the horrible thing they've said.."
He looks more concerned and his smile has faded.
"Show me the way!" He says, panic lacing his voice.
This was going way too well.

I lead him into the alleyway I make sure to follow him to avoid any suspicions and point out fake directions.
Deku obviously couldn't stay behind, so unfortently he followed from a distance.
If he didn't I would've told the hero everything I could. Probably.
After a bit of walking, I finished off by pointing behind another wall.
The hero walks over there.
It's either now or never.

I look behind me to see Deku watching closely. I give him a slight nod then walk next to the hero.
"Weird, are you sure they were he-"
I cut him off by activating my quirk while he was in mid sentence.
"Wait, what are you doing?"
I smirked and looked at the ground.
"Get ready for a fight." I respond with a laugh.

--

After awhile of me getting shocked, electrocuted, and hiding behind walls, I was finally able to knock him out.
I want kind of glad too. Or relieved.
All for my sake of survival, and my pride. That guy was kind of a pervert so I was a little happy that I knocked him out.
Anyways; I looked like hell after the fight, but the guy definetly had a limit.
Lets just say, after awhile he turned into a complete moron.
I was about to run to go get Deku, but he came over to me first.
"That took awhile. About an hour to get the upperhand." He was mad.
This seemed like a different kind of anger though. It wasn't his normal 'impatient tone'.
Perhaps jealousy?
"Deku, are you..jealous?"
He seemed really taken aback by that.
"Why the hell would I be jealous?"
He snaps.
"Your tone of voice says it all." I reply, matter-of-factly.
He seemed dumbfounded but just shakes his head.
"Shaddup. I have nothing to be jealous of. Lets just go now...I know a back alleyway that we can use to get back to headquarters."

I wasn't really sure of how I could bring the hero back, so I just decided to carry him.
Yes, it made me feel an ungodly amount of uncomfortiblness but what other option did I have?
While we were walking back, I've noticed Deku would look at me every once in awhile.
"What's your problem?" I finally snap at him.
Deku doesn't respond, instead he looks the other direction and scoffs.

We finally get back to headquarters (without anyone seeing us).
Once we get inside Deku shows me where to put the hero.
Since he was obviously still knocked out, it was really easy to put him in his cell.
"Ok, now you answer the question." I turn to Deku.
"What question?" He retorts.
I sigh.
"You've been acting more rude towards me every day. What the hell did I even do to you!? And ever since this dude over here called me a "cutie" it seemed to get worse! What's the deal!?" It took everything I had to not yell. At least not too much.
Deku looks at me, a dark look on his face.
He smirks and shoves me agaisnt the wall.
I freeze.
He puts his head right next to mine and says quietly in my ear.
"It's none of your damn business." He says, his breath sending shivers down spine.
I stand there speechless, he stays close to me like that for a little bit more.
Deku finally leaves me where I'm at and walks away.
"What the hell was that!?"

//Thank you guys so much for so many reads and 200 votes! This means so much to me!! I know I said that before, but it really does mean a whole lot.
Next, I didn't include the fight scene because y/n's quirk hasn't been decided yet; and the only reason (just so this is more realistic) the
y/n was able to best Denki so easily was because she made him use all of his energy and strength.
And just like the last chapter, if anyone has any quirk idea's please let me know! So far I have 2, and I'd like to try and have a vote next chapter. I'll put it on my announcements and also the next chapter when I'm ready.
One last thing!
I'm really sorry for the slow updates! I'm trying to have a regular schedule of it but it's pretty hard. My goal is to update at least once a week but so far it's around once or twice a month.
I'll try to fix that!
