(Can I get at least 2 likes to continue? It takes time to write a chapter so when people like my stories, it makes me feel like the effort was/is
worth it! And if you have any ideas of what I could do for the story, let me know! :3)

I'm really tired at this point.
I don't know how much longer I can take.

It's like I'm their puppet.

I am their puppet.

I think of those words, and it hurts.
I only want to go home.
See my family...

"What's on your mind?" Deku asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Don't even try to lie." He grabs a fistful of my hair and makes me look at him.

I look down, knowing I can't win this war.

"I'm just your puppet. That's all." I reply.

Deku gives me a blank look, then starts laughing. He lets go of my hair and pats my head.

"Now you get it." He smirks.

I hate that look.

"Stand up" He demands.

I stand.

"Wow, we have you on a leash" Deku starts laughing and kicks me so I fall over.

"How do you expect to pass if you don't fight back? Stand." Deku says.

He wants me to fight back?

...

I stand up. He goes to kick me, which I try to catch. I fail, but I still move out of the way.

Deku looks suprised, but still smirks.

"Better. Now lets work with what we have."

After awhile of training, Deku actually helps me stand up.

I swear I see a bit of softness in his eyes.

What the hell?

He must still have innocence then.
Still lost...

I can't help but feel confused.
I mutter a 'thanks' and brush myself off.

"You're getting a lot better. I'm proud!" Deku smiles.

What was his past....?
Why is he like this?

So many questions rush to my head.

Deku looks a bit hesitent for a second then says "The boss wanted to meet you"

All the color drained from my face.

"Your boss?" I ask again.

"Correct. And you should meet him sooner rather than later"

A thousand thoughts race to my head.

"Ok. I'll go."

"Great" Deku says. "But lets finish training first."

"Wait what?" Is all I have time to say before Deku knocks me over.

I fall over and Deku starts laughing.
"You asshole!" I say, but I can't help laughing either.

After awhile we finish training.

"Lets go meet the boss."
