Chapter 1
"Miss me, little one?"
----------------
He isn't real. He isn't real. He isn't real.
Its been two days.
Two days without food, with barely enough water to keep her alive, and without warmth. Her wounds weren't healing, in fact, she was pretty sure that most of them were infected now since they were never cleaned.
Ever since she woke up after the heist, Alice had been alone and desperate for someone to appear. Though, that wasn't the main thing on her mind. No, the main thing was the last face she saw before blacking out, but that was the least of her problems now.
Dried blood covered most of her body and no matter how much she relentlessly scratched at her skin, the blood never went away.
"Please," Alice cried out. It was the first time she had spoken in the entirety of the two days she had been locked in the cold, concrete room and her voice was hoarse and quiet. "If I die, please don't let me spend these last hours alone."
Hope. A feeling that flooded Alice after she spoke, wanting for someone to hear her. Hope was the only thing that restricted her from attempting to knock down the metal door.
Then, a sudden screech caught Alice's attention and she raised her head to see a shadow in the darkened room walking towards her, holding what seemed to look like a knife.
"Thank you," the green eyed girl whispered, ready to be attacked. Her eyes were shut as she awaited the quick plunge of sharpened metal into her blood covered skin.
Instead, she heard the loud, echoing clang of thd knife dropping onto the hard floor and felt the warmth of a blanket encompassing her. Her eyes, now filled with tears, looked up to a pair of soft brown eyes and a kind smile, but that didn't lessen the fear she felt looking at the one person who broke her heart.
Seeing the change of expression, her captor held out his hand to her, but the instant he began to move his arm, Alice physically flinched away. "I won't hurt you." The figure moved forward again, but this time, he picked her up, just as he did the day Alice was captured.
"Welcome home, little one."
Before she could say anything, she was carried out the darkness of the concrete room she had been locked up in and into a room full of light. From what she could see, it was a small laundry room, but she didn't see much of it as she was carried further into the building. Alice couldn't help but marvel over how beautiful the place was displayed and the small amount of happiness she felt grew when she was carried into a bedroom.
Ths bedroom itself was already wonderful. It had a skylight in the center of the ceiling and large windows that displayed the vast open ocean. However, with the furniture, the entire room resembled heaven. There was a bed with a white comforter hanging from the ceiling directly under the skylight, set of sint stairs leading to it. Then there was the bright glow of the white paint of the room and flower shaped lanterns hung around the room. Needless to say, there wasn't that much furniture, but the room was absolutely gorgeous.
Suddenly, Alice was set down on her feet and she forgot that she was even with someone.
Forgetting about the room, her hand slowly rose up to touch the face of her captor and when her fingers didn't drop through thin air, a smile lit up her face.
"You're real. You're real!" Not even questioning the fact that he was dead, Alice felt ecstatic to feel the warmth of another person.
Alice hadn't even realized she had been crying again until his hand wiped away her tears. After so long, she tried to believe that he no longer mattered; that if she stopped caring about him, the pain she felt after his death wo uld go away. It was only now that she came to terms eith the fact that she missed him so much more than she wanted.
"God, I missed you." Before her captor could respond, Alice pressed herself against him and pressed her lips to his. The old feeling she had experienced long before came back once again and the green eyed girl cherished this moment.
"I missed you too and this time, I'll never let you go."

Meanwhile at the gang household, there was nothing but pure and utter panic.
"This is complete bullshit. Alice probably jumped out of the car and she couldn't have made it that far, so she'll be home soon," Nogla said, though he was mainly trying to convince himself.
"It's been two days. If that was true, she'd be here by now," MiniLadd responded.
It had been a very long two days of just waiting for their leader to come back and wondering what the hell happened. The only reason they hadn't started looking for her was because they had faith that she'd do fine by herself, but that faith was quickly diminishing.
"Let's face it, she's either dead or captured. Either we wait for who knows how long or we search for her. I'm not losing anybody else," Wildcat stated. "I say we find her as soon as possible and find someone to take charge, just temporarily."
Groans came from all directions across the room. Lui spoke up. "How about we not worry about picking a new leader and find Alice. Who knows how bad of a state she's in."
-----------
"Oh my god, this is amazing," Alice cried out, sinking into the warm bathwater.
The raven haired girl had just taken a shower to wash off the dirt and grease that had built up over the two days she had spent by herself.
Evan, who she did not question, had been watching over her, even as she bathed. Although her body was uncovered and could be seen inside the bath, Alice didn't exactly care. All she cared about was the relaxing feeling as she soaked in the scented bathtub.
"You're beautiful, you know that?" Evan said, letting his finger swirl the water around, his eyes never leaving hers.
His words made Alice come to realization over her entire situation. The trained woman had been too careless and blind to notice since she craved the kindness Evan expressed and shared with her.
It dawned on Alice that it was Evan who had faked his death, locked her up, and was probably trying to persuade her into staying with him. Alice was so focused on the things he had provided her that she didnt even consider the fact that he was trying to convince her of forgiving him; she was so careless that dhe had even let him see her naked. Though, now she couldn't allow Evan to see that she knew what he was doing.
"Evan?" He removed his eyes from the curves of Alice's body and looked up at her. "Can you get me a towel? I'm tired."
"I'll be back soon," he planted a short, sweet kiss to her forehead before leaving the bathroom.
Honestly, Alice should have instantly realized Evan's motive. She knew for a fact that Evan wasn't this kind, especially to her since she was one of his friends who had kicked him out of his own gang.
Suddenly, the door swung open and Evan came back with two towels and clothes. "I'll let you dry off. Call me when you're done." Alice could hear the slight change in his voice in his lat sentence.
Still waiting for the right moment, she dried herself off, blowdried her hair with the hair dryer left on the bathroom counter, and had put on the clothes Evan had given her. It wasn't what she had expected it to be.
Evan had chosen a black lace bra and matching underwear for her, with only a short, thin, black nightgown to cover herself.
She had to get out of here as soon as possible.
Hanging the two towels up, Alice stepped out of the room into a hall with no one in sight. This was a small opportunity to get away, but she knew she couldn't make it out without a few necessities.
She began walking down the carpeted hall. The walls were a spotless white color, such as the bedroom Evan had first shown her. There were pictures hung up on the wall; some were of Evan, some were just painted landscapes, and one was a portrait of a single white rose.
It was a medium-sized portrait with a gold frame around it. She could obviously distinguish that it was painted, but there was no name signed at the bottom of the portrait or behind it.
Still distracted by how realistic the painting looked, the green eyed girl hadn't even noticed that someone was watching her from across the hall.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
Alice hadn't expected to hear a voice, let alone a voice not similar to Evan's.
She turned her head down the hall, where the bathroom door was. A man stood there just smiling and looking at her.
Not wanting to appear frightened, she turned her focus back on the painting. "It's very realistic. The artist must be very talented, alhough, there's no name printed anywhere."
The stranger had walked next to her as she studied the painting. "I'm very honoured, miss. Painting is one of my favorite pastimes."
Now that he was right next to her, Alice could see his entire face. He was thin and lean, somewhat like Delirious.
"Alice," Evan appeared before them, aiming a gun towards the two. "Alice, move towards me."
The stranger laughed wickedly, seeing the gun pointed at him. "Took you long enough." He took out a knife from under his sleeve and pressed it against Alice's neck, making sure to stare Evan down as he did.
"I'm guessing this beauty is the reason you've been decorating," the stranger said. Alice had the opportunity to slit his throat right then and there with his own knife, but she was interested in the conversation. "You know how this works. You pay up, my men don't kill you and right now, I'm pretty fixed of a certain toy of yours."
Alice felt a pair of lips reach down to her neck and out of instinct, she did what she did best. As she caught the man off-guard, Alice managed to push him against the wall and took the knife out of his hand, pressing it against his cheek.
Another laugh escaped the tall intruder, "I can see what you like about her. Feisty little thing-" He was cut off as Alice pressed the knife harder into his skin, making his cheek ooze a deep red.
"Who is he and why do you owe him?" She asked Evan, not taking her eyes off the man in front of her.
"Dimitri Mendoza, you've heard of him."
Everyone had heard of Dmitri Mendoza, but Alice knew him very personally.
"You motherfucker!" She took the knife quickly slashing it against his stomach, ripping the shirt he was wearing. "You were my father's friend! He trusted you with his life!"
Another slash went towards his arm.
Then, she felt a hand grab onto her. "That's enough, Alice."
Evan jumped back as Alice pointed the knife at him. It was only then he realized that Alice was crying. "He killed my dad. He deserves to suffer."
"Your dads alive, Alice." Evan stated with a soft voice, not wanting Alice to do anything irrational. "I've been paying him to get your dad back."
