Chapter 13

Hush! Hush! Not tonight

Hayden's POV

I clung to Travis's side, and buried my face into his chest. I can't tell him, I do not want to lose him. For the first time in so long, I have found someone that I can be myself around. I don't have to lie nor hide anything. But yet, here I am not telling him about anything. If I do not want to lose him, then I have to tell him about everything.... Everything.

I don't know if I could do that...I don't know if I can face his reaction when I tell him. He will turn me in. Or he will even throw me out on the streets. They all say they are never going to leave me, but in reality they do. Everyone that I loved.... Do I love Travis? It's been such a short time we have known each other. Yet, I am falling for him so badly.

"We are home, my love." Travis whispered in my ear. He must have thought I was sleeping because I was being so still and not moving a single muscle. I looked up at him and played along wiping my eyes from the dry tears.

I nodded over at him as he got out of the car, placing his hand out in front of me so I can take his hand in mine. I frowned and took his hand as he helped me get of the car. He pulled me close to his body as we walked inside the tall luxury apartment complex. The doorman greeted us, I gave him an assuring smile as we passed his worried expression. He nodded at us and we moved to the elevator.

I was going to stay silent, but I found myself saying something I didn't expect I was going to say. "I need to tell you everything." He looked down at me and frowned while shaking his head.

"Hush, not tonight baby." He placed a soft kiss on the top of my hair, making me all jittery inside.

The elevator opened to the penthouse and we made our way through. I turned around to face the one that I desperately crave every second of the day. His lips curved into a smile as he seen me standing there. Travis walked over and placed his lips on mine, softly. At first the kiss was going smoothly then it was full of passion and lust. My lips tingled from the numbness starting to form. I felt his tongue flick over my bottom lip, wanting access. I desperately granted and wrapped my arms around his neck as he lifted me up, wrapping my legs around his waist.

He tossed me on the bed and locked the door, sending waves of giggles through the room. He smiled and demanded me to strip. I didn't hesitate to do what he asked me. We watched each other as we stripped down to nothing. His eyes flickered back to the lust and passion, making my erection twitch.

He climbed onto the bed, and made his way on top of me, still looking me in the eyes.

"God, you are so beautiful." He was in complete awe as his hand glided down my face and over my lips.

I smirked and got up on his lap, leaning down and placing kisses all over his face while saying 'I'm in love with you." His hands gripped onto my waist as I did so. I leaned up and faced up.

"I love you, so, so much." He told me.

And at that moment, I knew that telling him was going to be even harder than I expected.

I smiled and leaned down so I was laying on top of his body. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close like he was scared to let go.

"Sleep tight my love." He said and kissed the top of my head. I blushed and told him I loved him one more time before sleep took over.
