Everyone got home and went to their separate bedrooms, Krystalle and Scott walking to theirs. Krystalle shut the door and leaned against it.

"Scott... Listen." Krystalle started, her voice quivering with sadness.

"We Alphas, Betas, and Omegas, we're not like anyone else. Not everyone is a rank, some are just regular humans. But that's not my point. Ranks have an assigned Mate that is a rank. Sometimes you can be assigned two Mates."

"Krys baby where are you going with this?" Scott asked, his lip quivering.

"If you get assigned two different Mates, one of them is true. So if the other person who was assigned your Mate isn't who matched you, they dont have one."

"Kryssiey what are you saying?"

"Every year at New Years, there's a cycle. Anyone who doesn't have a Mate gets turned."

"Turned up? What? That makes no sense."

"No Scott. We get turned into wolves. Forever. Unless you get assigned a New Mate and you find said Mate. And... I'm not your assigned Mate."

"How can you tell?" Scott asked.

"Mitch what love?" Scott asks, rubbing up and down Krystalle's arm.

"Mitch got you. You two are assigned Mates."

"W-what?" Scott's voice cracked. Tears streamed down his face as he held his Beta close.

"I wish I was lying Scott. But I saw it. I saw your heart glow blue."

"About a week ago. I was trying to research it and the specialist told me everything when I went yesterday."

"So... this is it for us?" Scott asked.

"I.. I don't know." The Alpha gave his Beta a sweet kiss, wishing his Mate would be her. Sure, he loves Mitch, but Scott is IN LOVE with Krystalle.

Krystalle immediately kissed Scott back, bringing his head down to kiss him longer. Their lips danced together, like nothing could ever stop them. The two kept like this, kissing and wishing the worst away, for a while. Until Scott walked to the bed, hovering over Krystalle as they kissed, both breaking away for air.

"I love you so much my diamond." Scott said, carressing Krystalle's cheek. Tears gathered in the girl's eyes while a couple tears fell onto the Beta's face from the blonde's eyes.

"I love you too icey. More than you'll ever know." Scott layed down beside Krystalle and held her close as they listened to music from his phone, eventually falling asleep cuddled up together.

"Hey Logan!" Mitch says cheerfully to his Alpha as he skips into Logan's room. Logan smiles and kisses his Omega on the forehead.

"Hey sweetie." Mitch giggles and the Alpha brushes a piece of the Omega's now platinum blonde hair out of his face.

"My pretty little angel." Logan's phone goes off blaring Tinashe's Company and the natural blonde picked up his phone.

"Hello?"

"Logan we have a surprise for you." He hears Todrick's voice from the receiver.

"What? Is it my birthday already?"

"No you little floofball. Just get your butt here."

"Where are you?"

"The living room."

"And you couldn't have just waltzed in my room?"

"And you and Mitch weren't just sucking face?" Logan turns a bright red and Todrick laughs.

"Knew it. Get yo ass out here, please and thank you." The line went dead and Logan sat up and started to walk out the door but was stopped by Maddie.

"Put this on." She held out a blindfold. The Alpha did so and Maddie did the same to Mitch.

"I'll guide you two, okay?" The boys agreed and Maddie took one of their hands, guiding them slowly into the living room.

"On the count of three. One...."

Todrick and Jordyn hold up a banner, not had having enough time to put it up.

"Two...." The surprise was on display nicely, colors all around.

"....Three!" Maddie ripped off the boy's blindfolds. There stood Gabi in a high low with leather sandals. Her freshly dyed hair falling freely down her face and a sparkling diamond choker around her neck.

"Holy shit..." Logan froze in place while Mitch ran to hug the Omega.

"GABI!!" The two embraced tightly and Gabi smiled wide.

"Hey Mitchy." Mitch saw a beautiful girl behind her and tilted his head to the side.

"Who's that pretty lady?" Mitch asks, pointing to her.

"Guys, this is my mate. Meet Vivian." The Beta waved and Mitch smiled at her.

"You're reeeeaaaalllly pretty."

"Why thank you. What's your name you sweet little Omega?" Vivian asked.

"I'm Mitch!!" Logan had finally collected himself and tackled Gavi to the ground.

"BUT YOU DIED! AHH WHO GIVES A SHIT YOU'RE HERE SIS!!!!" Logan yelled. Gabi laughed loudly along with the other and hugged her brother back tightly.

"Good to be back Logan." Todrick passed out cake and invited Scott's Pack over, to which everyone said yes. In a matter of three minutes the blonde's pack was at their house.

"To Gabi!" Todrick said as he held up his glass of wine. Everyone had a glass except for Scott, Krystalle, Kevin, and the Omegas since they were on watch.

"Christmas Eve!!" Kirstie and Melaniey ran through the house, screaming Christmas lyrics.

"Girls, calm down." Tristan and Vanessa laughed at the two and soon enough Gaile and Hope joined the two Omegas.

"They're too sweet." Vanessa said as her and Tristan were making cocoa and snacks for the six of them.

"Truth. So, have you found yourself someone?" Tristan asked. Vanessa shook her head to the side and smiled.

"I'm not looking at the moment. When the person comes, they come." Tristan nods and they take the tray of mugs and christmas cookies to the coffee table.

"Girls, movie time!" The three Omegas and childish Beta ran to the couch and sat next to their Mates as they started to watch "A Christmas Carol" with Mickey Mouse and Goofy and the gang instead of the original (yes that's an actual thing)

"Thank you." Melaniey whispered to Tristan. She placed a soft kiss on her Alpha's lips and fell asleep halfway through the movie.

"Only for my Mel Mel." Tristan whispered back. She kissed the pink haired girl's forehead and continued to watch the movie.

Krystalle and Scott stirred in bed the next morning. Logan and Gabi came bounding into the room, screaming their heads off.

"GET UP GET UP YOU LAZY ASSES!!" Logan bellowed to the couple.

"IT'S CHRISTMAS BITCHES!!!!" Gabi yelled as she blared an airhorn through the room. Scott sleepily took it from her hand with his long noodle arms and opened his eyes long enough to throw the horned can out the window. The Lead Alpha grabbed Krystalle's waist and pulled her closer.

"Sleep bitches." Scott retorted. They were about to fall asleep but Logan started blasting Beyoncé in their ears. Scott bounded up and started screaming the lyrics while Krystalle fell out of the bed in surprise.

"Morning you two." Vivian walked in the room calmly, handing each of the two mugs of coffee after helping Krystalle up.

"Good morning. Have we met?" Krystalle asked, raising her pierced eyebrow.

"No, I apologize for that. I'm Vivian Hartway, Gabi's assigned Mate." Vivian says with a smile.

"Oh, my sincerest apologies. I'm Krystalle Ged, and this is my Mate Scott Hoying." Scott waved from his Beyoncé and coffee session over by the bed and the girls laughed.

"Hun, I'm going to go settle everyone down. How about you get dressed so after presents we can go for a walk by the lake?" Scott asked his girlfriend. She nodded and Scott kissed her calmly before him and Vivian left the room.

"Hey you." Kevin greeted one of his female best friends as she stepoed out of her room.

"Merry Christmas, Kurvy." The two hugged and headed to the living room where Krystalle sat next to Scott and Kevin Tori.

"Alright, who's Santa this year? Todrick asked.

"Yeah Tristan! You're new, you wanna go at it?" Jordyn asked, holding out a Santa hat to the purple haired Alpha. She gratefully smiled and placed the hat on her head with a thank you.

"Alright, first person to open a gift is..." Tristan picked up a random bag and read the tag.

"MitchieMoo." She hands the small Omega the bag and he pulls out the "Lion Pride" tshirt with rainbow lions from Krystalle.

"Ooooh thank you Krystiey!!" Mitch squealed. The Beta laughed and smiled.

"Quite welcome Mitchie." Tristan picks up a tiny box and smiles.

"This is to... Melaniey, frooooom..... Mitch!" Melaniey opens the box and pulls out a unicorn necklace.

"Thank you thank you thank you!!!" She yells, hugging her fellow Omega right next to her."

"Alright, last present is for..." The Alpha smirked and turned around to face her girlfriend. She positioned herself onto one knee and a split second later everyone was filming and taking pictures.

"Melaniey my love, I love you so much. You brought me into this pack and I cannot thank you enough. You get me through everyday. My love for you is like diarrehea, I CANNOT contain it." Everyone chuckled and Scott and Mitch beamed with pridr from that sentence.

"What I'm trying to say is... Melaniey Barscott?" Melaniey wiped away a tear and whispered out.

"Yes?"

"Voulez-vous me faire l'honneur de prendre mon nom de famille et de m'épouser?" (Will you do me the honor of taking my last name and marry me?)

"Oui, je vais t'épouser mon cher." (Yes, I will marry you my dear) The two hugged tightly and kiss as Tristan slips the ring on Melaniey's finger.

"MRÍSTÂN!!" Krystalle yelled. All the guys whistled while the girls were tearing up.

"Fuck off." Tristan pulled away from Melaniey's lips to say only to go rught back to them. Scott and Krystalle got up and ran to the front door.

"GET SOME MELLY!" The Beta yelled and laughed as her and her boyfriend ran out the door to avoid being yelled at.

"So, why did you want to take me here Scott?" Krystalle asked as the two sat on a log by the pond where Jeremy found the Beta not too long ago.

"I wanted to give you one last gift alone." He takes out a locket. A white heart locket with a bronze treble clef on the front. The Alpha opens the pendant and reveals a picture of the two kissing for the first time. He's very thankful that Todrick took that picture.

"Oh my god... I have a locket for you too." Krystalle takes out a heart locket also, except the one she bought has two opening and closing angel wings. Each one has a picture of the Beta and the outfit of her first date and in the heart is a picture of their first kiss also.

"So... So you'll remember me after I turn into a wolf." Krystalle stutters. Scott grabs her and pulls her into his chest. Sobs rack the blonde's body and all the Beta can do is rub his back, knowing they only have six days left together.

"My sweet little Beta." Scott whispers as he kisses her hair and puts the white locket around her neck. Krystalle does the same and unbuttons Scott's top jacket button, kissing right above his heart on his shirt.

"Carey." Avi said as he saw his blonde beauty at the table, scrolling through her phone.

"Hey love." Avi took the phone from her and locked it. He stood her up and kissed her softly, taking the Omega by surprise yet she still kissed back.

"What was that about?" Caroline asked as she regained her breath.

"I can't kiss the woman I love?" Avi asked in a mocking hurt tone. Caroline giggled and Avi melted over the action.

"I have something for you." Caroline said. She grabbed a bag from nearby and pulled out a stuffed dragon with a necklace. The pendant has two bass clefs forming a heart with a small gem in the middle.

"Care-Bear I love it. I love you." Avi said. The two shared a sweet kiss and it quickly got heated.

"GET SOME CARE!" They heard from the kitchen. Caroline blushed a deep red and Avi glared at Logan and Gabi, who were laughing their butts off.

"Fuck off you two." Caroline yelled, throwing the first thing she could find at them. Which was a plastic cup that made a loud sound and a hard hit on Logan's head.

"Ooooowwwwwwwww!!!!!!" The blonde Alpha yelled.

"How 'bout you go give some to Mitch?" Avi suggested. At this point Kevin was cackking per usual, having overheard.

"HEY KEVIN GIVE SOME TO TORI!!" They heard Jordyn yell. Then a scream from the Beta, who was getting hit with a pillow from Tori herself.

"YO WHERE'S KRYS AND SCOTT!?" Melaniey yelled.

"Don't know. Care come." Avi took his girlfriend's hand and led her to his bedroom.

No, they are not making babies, you sick people. They're just cuddling while watching Puff the Magic Dragon.

"TEN MINUTES!!" Todrick yelled throughout the house. It was ten minutes until 2017 began, and Scott and Krystalle were trying to make every moment of it.

"Baby, are you sure this will happen?" Scott asked, unsure of his girlfriend's statement from two weeks ago.

"Yes. Positive."

"Stop lying Krys." Uh ohhhhhh

"You really think I'm lying huh!?"

"Wait no Kryssiey I didn't-" The Beta runs outside into the woods and keeps running. Scott follows after shortly and starts to gain up on her.

"KRYSTALLE!" He yelled. The Beta never looked back once. She jumped over trees and logs, but trips into a puddle.

"Krystalle!" Scott gained near her. Krystalle snarled at him then gasped.

"Oh no.. It's starting."

"No... baby don't leave me." Scott pleaded.

"It's not my choice Scott." Krystalle stood up and Scott pinned her to a wall. His teeth sank into her neck where her soft spot was and she yelled from the sudden action.

"Scott what the fuck!?" A soft moan escaped her lips as Scott sucked on the spot and bit down again before pulling away.

"My Beta." He licked the spot and Krystalle shuddered in pleasure. Her eyes turned a gray and Scott saw.

"Kiss me."

"Wait wha-" Scott slammed his lips onto hers. The Alpha's arms pinned her waist to the tree once more and she quickly kissed back.

"Scott stop please." The blonde immediately stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes were glossed over and tears were spilling from his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I just... I'm going to miss you so damn much Krystalle. Why can't it be temporary?" Scott asked.

"I don't know love. I wish it was." Krystalle kissed Scott softly. Their lips moved in sync until Krystalle suddenly started howling.

The wolf pads up to the blonde and rubs against his leg. He bends down and pets her head.

"Be free." The wolf nips at his shoulder lightly where his crown tattoo is. He sees a white crown on the wolf's left leg and smiles. The wolf runs off towards howling and he stands up, kissing the locket Krystalle gave him on Christmas. Scott puts the necklace and states off down the path the wolf ran off to.

"My sweet little wolf."
