Hi Everyone!!

I just want to use this chapter to help promote the contest that made this book a reality!

AprilJester hosts an annual contest and my plan is to write a part of Stitches each year during it until the book is complete! (I believe there will be 3 parts in total!) Below is a summary of the contest from April herself!

The Ever Generating Story Awards (TEGSA) is a music based, prompt writing contest where you have two months to create a completed story with ten chapters. You may include prologues, epilogues, and other front and back material. These stories can be in any genre with any maturity label. And the best part? After the contest ends, you'll receive a cool sticker for your story (regardless of placement), and you'll have a completed story to boast about and enter into Wattpad (or other) contests.

During the writing process, you will receive shout-outs and words of encouragement from the host. This will boost your morale and your reads as you continue to write. Once it's over, you get to have that joyous feeling of marking your story completed!

I'm looking forward to writing part 2 but have to wait for the contest to start before I'm allowed to plot part 2 beyond what I thought of as I wrote part 1 I can't wait to see what songs I'll work with this year (please more 80's songs, campy horror and 80's music work so well!!)
