Pirate captain! Sting x Mermaid! Reader~

Warning: the one shot is really cringy and not the best ever. I tried doing something different so tell me how I did except if it negative feedback. I already know it's terrible.

Y/n had a good life. Her parents and her had a good relationship. She had the most honest and loyal friends ever. There was only one problem. She was a mermaid, but that changed because like all the other mermaids her flaw got in the way. Curiosity. Mermaids are beautiful, kind, energetic, trusting, loyal creatures, but all of them had an extreme curiosity that they all hated, because that curiosity could kill them.

"Y/n this is a bad idea!" Lucy yelled at her friend. They were swimming to the surface and away from their underwater village.

"Don't be such a scardy-catfish, Lucy!" Y/n yelled back. Y/n was swimming towards I giant floating rock in the water. It looked like the other ones that were under water and had sea animals in them. The elders called them 'ships'.

Once Y/n and Lucy made their way towards the ship, they surfaced so only their lower half's we're in the water. They could hear strange noises on the floating vessel. They got closer and use all their might to climb as much as the could on the ship to see what was happening.

They saw humans! They never saw humans before. It was forbidden since mermaids were just seen as a giant fish they could sell and not like the intelligent beings they were.
Well, that's what the elders said anyway.

The two girls saw humans that looked like they were only men on the ship. They were playing weird things that produced a sound they never heard before. The men were laughing while drinking some strange drink.
The men were also doing some weird motion where they were slamming they legs and feet to the ground while having their arms up and waving their hands like they just don't care.

"Be on the lookout men! These are waters where the so called sea beauty's been sighted." The girls heard a voice say that proved that the elders were right.

Y/n looked at the man that said this and saw the most gorgeous being her eyes ever layed on. He was about 5'8". He had wild blonde hair and blue eyes. He had a single crystal ear ring in his right ear. He wore a white button down dress shirt that was un-buttoned so you could see his chest. He also wore a large black vest coat, a black hat, and grey pants with a best that had a gun holster with a pistol in it and a sword also in the belt. He also had brown boots on.

"Captain, mermaids!" A member of the pirate crew yelled and pointed at the two girls who were hanging on the boat. The two girls looked at eachother and at that moment they know they fucked up.

"Dive!" The two girls said

Lucy let go of the ship first splashing into the water in mere seconds. Once Y/n let got her hand was caught by the so called captain, who was trying to bring her into the ship. Any sane mermaid would of struggled but she didn't. His eyes were to beautiful for her to stop looking at them.

In about a minute or two Sting got the mermaid on the floor of the ship. He kneeled down next to her and took in her beauty. He hasn't seen anything more beautiful than her. He stood up for a minute and walked over to his first mate, Rogue, and ordered him to do something. After Rogue left Sting went back to the mermaid and played with her hair, obviously thrilled with his catch of the day.

"Why don't you look like the other mermaids were caught before." Sting asked her a question, but ant person that knew Sting knew it was a command.

"Those are sirens. They were born human and because of heartbreak they were turn into a siren to trap others like them so nobody can feel the way they did. Mermaids were never human though, unlike sirens."  Y/n  explained to the captain not knowing she just doomed herself.

The captain stroked her hair once more before smirking. "So, if a human can turn into a siren, can a siren or a mermaid turn into a human?"  Sting ask still smirking.

"Well yes, I guess so, but it has only happened once and now she is known as a traitor." Y/n said. Sting couldn't help but chuckle at the the poor mermaid soon to girl. She was so gullible. He had a plan already made up in his head and he knew it would work. He can still sell the sirens for 75000 Jewel and say their mermaid because nobody will know the difference. Then he'll keep the mermaid he caught for himself.

Rogue came back to Sting letting him knew the job was done. Sting smiled and picked up his mermaid. He told Rogue to sail the ship to pirate country and then headed  off to his cabin with Y/n still in his arms.

Once Sting enter his room her saw a tub of water right next to his king size bed. He grinned as he placed Y/n in the tub and the sat down in his bed watching her like she could escape at any moment.

"About the traitor." Sting started trying to find out how to in the mermaid into a human girl. "How did she do it?" Asked ready to find out such a big secret.

"I don't know." Y/n said honestly making Stings heart break. "The elders always said she was so fascinated with humans she net one and then one night on a full moon she was dragged out of the ocean by her human. They said when she was on land the human gave her a pile of salt water, tears of a child, crushed bone of fish and human both, and the humans own blood. The story ends with her drinking the vile and her becoming a human. Nobody knows if it's true or if the elders were lying to us to protect us." Y/n finished before slowly closing her eyes and falling to sleep.

Sting felt accomplished. If he could get those ingredients then he could see for himself and the he could also make money off of it.
Sting went outside on deck to see the ship already mad it to pirate country.

Pirate country was an island conquered by pirates since the could have their own piece of paradise. It's where pirate got food, leads on where to steal from nobles and such, get clothes, have some fun at the whore house, but it was also where a pirates family would be and this is the only place where pirates can't attack eachother.

Sting ordered Rogue to stay in the ship until he comes back. Sting left the ship looking for a few items. He some how bought a vile of a child's tears, fish Bones, salt water, clothes for a women, food, books, and even a cat. Sting also bought many other things a women would need and stuff they would need if she doing become human and got pregnant.

Once sting returned to the ship Rogue left the ship immediately so he could go visit his wife, kagura, and their cat, Frocsh. Sting knew for fact that there was a full moon tonight and he knew he would be able to turn the mermaid into a human.

Sting mixed all the ingredients together and soon he cut his hand to it would be his blood running through the mermaids system.

One the position was completed, sting snuck into his room and he poured the liquid down Y/n's throat. He then put away all the other stuff away and the he waited.

Y/n woke up in pain and she wasn't in the water anymore. What did they do to me she thought. She sat up from the surface she was laying on and she realized she had legs. Her heart shattered. She's not a mermaid anymore. Tears streamed down her face on she looked at her legs. How could this happen. She will forever be a traitor to her kind. No more stories from the elders. No more annoying Lucy's Aunt Aquarius. No more being a mermaid. How could this happen she thought again until the door the the room she opened revealed the blonde pirate captain.

~5 years later~

Y/n was holding a blonde girl that was about four years old. She looked at the girl with a blank face. The girl is a piece of her, but also a piece of the monster that took away her life for his own selfish needs.

The girl was named Genevieve. She looked like carbon copy of Y/n except that she has blonde hair, blue eyes, and she was born with legs and not a tail. Y/n knew that she loved her daughter, but her daughter would never be loved the same way Y/n would of loved if she she was a mermaid. It's wrong, but Y/n can't help. She would sacrifice her everything to keep her daughter happy, but she wouldn't be able to love the way she should.

Genevieve was just like her father. There is only three things Y/n and Genevieve had in common. They have mermaid blood in them. They are both forever tied Sting Eucliffe in one way or another. And they both love the water.

She'll always be mad at Sting for what he did, but she can't help but smile as she run her fingers through his hair with a smile on her face.
