Y/n was thinking about the love of her life. The only problem is she isn't sure he feels the same. He acts like he loves her, but acts like she's a close friend when their in public. She started to think about all memories she shared with him.

Y/n was reading a book in the Sabertooth guild hall when she heard the guilds door open. She looked over to see the guild Master Sting has finally come back  from some meeting he had to attend to. His eyes met hers, before a grin appeared on his face. "Y/n!" He yelled as he ran up to her a gave her a hug.

"Hahahaha that's funny Sting!" Y/n laughed as Sting was telling her the story of how he met Rogue.
"I know!" He yelled placing a hand on her shoulder making her blush.

I loved you from the start, so it breaks my heart

Y/n remembered the first time she met Sting. They both joined sabertooth the same month.  Master Jemmia made her, Rogue, and Sting work together for a whole year. It didn't take her long to develop a crush on him.

When you say I'm just a friend to you

Y/n was leaving from the guild to go to her apartment, but she heard sting and Rogue talking.
"What are you saying Rogue! You know Y/n and I are only friends." Sting said and with that Y/n walked to get apartment blinking the tears out of her eyes.

'Cause friends don't do the things we do

Y/n remembers her and Sting going to the movies together. She remembers Sting picking a scary movie for them to watch so Y/n would get scared and cuddle him and she  specifically remembers the way his lips felt when her kissed her on the lips to calm her down.

Everybody knows you love me too

"Y/n! Are you and Sting ever going to date. " Y/n's friend Mira squealed. "It is so obvious you like eachother."

Tryna be careful with the words I use

Y/n and Sting went to the gym together to work out and Sting took off his shirt.
"Your so hot." Y/n said dreamly until she realized she said it in front of Sting.
"I'm mean that's so ho- No it must be hit for you to take off your shirt." Y/n said correcting herself while blushing.

I say it 'cause I'm dying to

"I love you, Sting." Y/n said with a blush on her cheeks as she confessed her love to a picture of Sting hoping to get the courage to say it to the real one.

I'm so much more than just a friend to you

"Which dress should I wear tonight for the party at blue Pegasus." Y/n asked Sting holding up four dresses in her room since her and Sting were at her apartment.
Sting let out a sigh as he look at y/n.
"The white one. It doesn't show so much cleavage, so those fuckboys will leave you alone." Sting stood up from where he was sitting and walked over to Y/n wrapping his arms around her waist. He moved his mouth to his ear and whispered into her ear. "Plus, you look hot in white."

When there's other people around you never wanna kiss me

Sting and Y/n were kissing in his office, but Sting pushed her away from himself when he saw the door knob started to turn so the door could open.

You tell me it's too late to hang out, then you say you miss me

Y/n woke up in the middle of the night to knocking on her doors apartment. She opened her door to be welcomed into a hug.
"I missed you so much." Sting says letting go of Y/n and walking into her apartment, then flopping on her couch.
"Do you want to do something." Y/n said sitting next to Sting. Sting put his arm around Y/n before placing her on his lap.
"Too late to do anything Y/n. I'm only here 'cause I missed you. Go to sleep." He says before closing his eyes.

"How long have you known Sting, Y/n." Lucy asked.
"Since we were 12." Y/n stated.
"And how long did it take until for you to realize you loved him." Mira said, but before Y/n could answer, Natsu yelled at her to fight him.

"Sting!" Mira yelled as the Sabertooth guild came to fairy tail for a party.
"When are you going ask out y/n!" She said.
"What are you talking about Mira." Sting whispered-yelled unaware a certain h/c haired mage was listening.
"Y/n and I are just friends."

Y/n was laying on the floor below Sting. He was caging he between his arms as he was doing push ups. Everytime he went down he would kiss her then push up.

"He likes you Y/n. Trust me." Mira  reassured her friend.

Tryna be careful with the words I use

Y/n was writing in her notebook on ways to confessed to Sting. Too scared to say them out loud or ask any of her friends for advice.

"I love you, Sting." Said Y/n who was talking to picture Sting again.

As Y/n was thinking about all her memories about Sting, he tapped her on the shoulder, taking her out of her thoughts.
