I saw a wayfarer
Walking alongside
The train
With a giant bag on their shoulders

I admire the wayfarer
And their determination
And  their hard work
They seem to be
Such exonerate people
And that's what I want to be

I want to be free from worries
I want to replace the weight
Of my burdens
With the weight
Of the backpack on their shoulders,
The weight of my dreams

You get to travel
To unknown lands
And see the stars
Above you each night
Looking at the marvelous glow
Of light

You could feel the warmth
Of the fire
As you lay in your sleeping bag
Not touched
By the cold if the night

You get to be
As free as
You want to be
You get to go
Where you want to go

Seeing what each new day
Brings you
Everyday would be an adventure

Oh what the days would bring me
If I lived
As a wayfarer
Away from the chaos
Of the world

Wayfarer: someone who loves to travel, especially on foot

Exonerate : to be free from the weight of your burdens.
