the altitude rises

scenery changes

the vastness of the ground

and the diversity of the area

disappears from beneath me

racing past like a hawk

farther and farther away we go

as the day's activities

blow away beneath me

clouds invade

the atmosphere

it looks like this could be heaven

invincible in the sky

forgetting about the world below

music turned up

over the sound of the engine

selections, selections

how are there so many selections

on one little screen?

calling this home

until the restlessness settles in

after being strapped

in a seat

for the longest time

at last, the ground has emerged

surrounding it is a new nature

a new atmosphere

a new people

everything is new

a world unbeknown to outsiders

as I step onto this mysterious new ground

oh, what an adventure I'm about to have
