seven billion labels
*Disclaimer: This poem is not targeted towards anyone in particular.
the whole world is
basically one gigantic
caste system
one of cliques
social statuses
popularity
and liking
stereotypes hunt us down
like a mob of athletes
setting firm
the beliefs
that society works as labels
the ones whose one sole mission
is to play fortnite till their deaths
are supposedly called "gamers"
the ones who call dark colors
and rock music
their best friends
are supposedly called "emos"
the ones who follow trends
and only live on expensive things
are supposedly called "popular"
the ones who spend
their spare time studying
and learning
and love homework
are supposedly called "nerds"
it doesn't make sense
how inexplicable people can be
stereotypes and cliques alike
does damage to the human soul
because people are more than
a name, or a label
the "losers" are winners
the "gamers" are champions
the "emos" are all-stars
the "nerds" are lively
everyone is a winner
and no stereotype
shall label someone
as such
in my opinion
everyone can live fine
without labels
but the only label
to live with
is "amazing"
