god chose our friends

friends are the connections

to the heart

god places two humans

side by side

and places a connection key

like a piece of string

connected between me

and this oddly interesting stranger

beliefs, likes, dislikes, opinions

personalities, lovingness

all determine an irresistible bond

sometimes there is a buzzing bond

where one wants to be friends

yet they don't know

if the other wants that friendship

and other times

bonds are unbreakable

through thick and thin

through highs and lows

through virtually everything

unbreakable bonds

are the epitome of a strong heart

i love my fellow humans

that i call friends

even if one tries to tear us apart

they couldn't even try harder

i love having friends

with all my heart
