Get Over It
Jin's gaze was stuck on where he last saw Namjoon, Taehyung and Jungkook bursting into uncontrollable sobs.
"We have to go!" Kwon grabbed Jin's hand and started running, grabbing Yoongi's who was still connected with Jungkook's. Changmin took Taehyung and Jimin's hand, and Seulong took Hoseok's hand.
Jin's legs barely kept him standing as Kwon dragged him away from where Namjoon was previously, his last moments spent saving the band he helped float.
He should've known Namjoon was so naive, he was serious when he said BTS was the reason he was still breathing. He should've known.
He died, so they could live.
"Hyung we have to go!" Jimin took Jin's hand, tears streaming down his face as he tried to take Jin away from the crowd of zombies. "Let's go!" Kwon and his members started running, Jin as shocked and horrified as Namjoon was when Dahee got shot.
This is what Namjoon was feeling. Jin didn't know how to describe it, but he wanted Namjoon back.
Why was he so stupid?!
Everyone kept running until Yoongi tripped, falling on his face and making Jungkook fall down with him.
Taehyung fell down too, a wide hole drilling itself into his heart from his last sight of Namjoon. He was always there for him, and he was the best caregiver when Taehyung felt stressed enough to slip into little space. Namjoon would probably had made the best dad.
Embarrassing his kids in public, buying them the wrong thing, making jokes that made his wife angry but the kids happy, setting the kitchen on fire Christmas morning trying to make breakfast, everything. He would've been the perfect dad and husband, but now he was gone.
Taehyung would never see him again.
Well...at least he can be with Dahee now.
"We should rest, they need to take it in." Changmin told Seulong, watching as Hoseok broke down into absolute mush. Even with physical scars and pain, they still managed to run so far thanks to Namjoon.
"I can't believe he did that." Kwon sighed, tears swelling in his own eyes. "He seemed a good person, a perfect leader." He looked over at Jimin, who was sitting on a rock with his knees to his chest, his shoulders shaking with every cry that escaped his throat. "What are we going to do now?" Seulong looked to his leader. "Three people died, and we have no idea where our group is." He tried to think of a plan, but he was probably just as connected to Namjoon as his members were.
He just had that affect on anyone, if you knew his name you knew everything about him.
"That's true...maybe we can go back to the police station, maybe they all survived and we just disappeared." Changmin suggested. "We have to keep them safe." Seulong stabbed a zombie that had their gaze locked on Jin. "We also need food and water." Kwon sighed. "In a while..."
A day later, they reached the old police station. Jimin was being carried by Kwon, his smaller body unconscious from the loss of nutrients. Jungkook was the most mess out of the small group, Namjoon was the reason he even joined BTS. He looked up to Namjoon, every decesion his leader made he memorized. Thanks to Namjoon, he learned how to make tough decesions, and decide what is more important and deal with it first.
Namjoon...was his reason before Yoongi. Maybe that's why Yoongi suddenly admitted feelings, because Jungkook needed a reason to live. He needed to feel he had responsibility for someone. It used to be Namjoon, but how it's Yoongi. And only Yoongi.
Jungkook slid down the wall of the police station, old bodies rotting on the floor. He thought he saw Lee Hyun, but Kwon proved him wrong.
Where were they?
Tears started to roll down his cheeks, but Jungkook couldn't feel anything. No emotion was running through his brain, why was he crying?
He felt sort of...numb?
All he could think about was Namjoon. The funny mistakes he made, accidentally breaking things, and the time he stood up for Jungkook years back when Yoongi called him a self-centered brat.
Namjoon probably didn't remember it, Yoongi didn't either; but Jungkook did.
"Hey!"
Seulong chased after a living person when they tried taking Hoseok's knife, running behind them and grabbing them by the hair. "Ouch!"
It seemed like a teenage boy, maybe sixteen or so. He was wearing a dirty blue shirt with worn out dark blue jeans and black sneakers.
"Where do you think you're going with that?!" Seulong threw the boy onto the floor, catching everyone's attention except for Jin and Jungkook.
"It's just a knife!" The kid tried to get up and run, but Seulong was quicker. He caught him by his hair and pinned him down onto his stomach, leaving the kid gasping for air.
"Don't hurt him!" Someone called out, making everyone look around in confusion.
Someone with a red shirt and brown pants appeared from the darkness, holding a gun. He knelt down and placed it down on the ground.
"Who are you?" Seulong asked in a deep voice.
"I'm Choi Yeonjun, please leave Beomgyu alone." The man seemed desperate, looking into Seulong's eyes.
Jungkook looked up.
"Why? How many of you are there?" Seulong held his hand on the back of the kids neck. "There is only three more, please, let him go." Yeonjun begged, even getting onto his knees. "Where are the other three?" Kwon asked seriously.
"We've been here a while, they're sleeping. Please, please don't hurt him." Yeonjun explained. "Hyung, don't." The kid under Seulong sighed from the pain in his neck. "Why are you here?" Changmin asked, with a suspicious expression.
"Same reason you are...for protection." Yeonjun looked to Changmin, then Jungkook then back to Changmin. "Let him go-"
"No one has to get hurt, here."
Seulong looked over to see someone else holding Jin in a chokehold, a knife to his neck. He didn't seem bothered though.
"Fine." Seulong stood up and let the boy go, but still holding him back by his shirt. "But we were here first, so you guys can get out." Changmin looked over at the male with Jin, his knife in his right hand. "You were here first? Ha." The male laughed, noticing how Jungkook just curled up into a ball against the wall, keeping quiet.
"We were here first."
"Hyungie!"
Both of the males turned around, as a younger looking male ran towards them. "Hyungie look what Kaikai found!" He was holding a single can of green beans.
What?
Yeonjun and the other guy looked embarrassed. "U-uhm- bud, go back to the station." The other guy said as the new male ran up to him. He looked to at Seulong.
"Wet Beombeom gwo!" He ran to Seulong and gently hit his chest. Seulong almost stabbed him if the kid he was pinning down escaped his grasp and threw him off of him.
Taehyung perked up at the language, little space immediately overcoming his mind.
Taehyung stood up from beside Jungkook and went over to the male with black hair. "You wittle?" He asked, as Seulong tackled the kid that was underneath him. The male with black hair looked at Taehyung, and handed him the can of food he had.
"Yesh! I Kaikai, what your name?" Taehyung and him giggled, and everyone stopped fighting to look at the two littles. "I Taetae!" Taehyung giggled as he turned around and looked to Jin, then back to the other little.
"Beomgyu, you can't just steal people's knives, you could've gotten killed." Yeonjun hugged the kid with silver-like hair. "He wasn't looking, I thought it would be fine." Beomgyu pouted as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Beomgyu, are you okay?!" A male with baby blue hair ran over to Yeonjun and Beomgyu.
"Who are you guys?!" Changmin asked once Taehyung and the black haired male started playing patty-cake with their hands.
"F*ck." The male with baby blue hair cursed. "I'm Soobin." He told Seulong, turning to the black haired boy. "And that's Huening Kai, or just Kai." He looked to the kid Seulong had pinned. "This is Beomgyu, and that's Yeonjun." He helped the make with brown hair stand up. "We were going to debut for a band, but the world just had to go to crap." Soobin scoffed. "Bin, where's Taehyun?" Yeonjun asked, looking over at Huening Kai. "I'm not sure, hyung, I think he's still resting." Soobin sighed, going over to Hueningkai.
"Get away from him!" Yoongi stood up and ran over to the kid with black hair, and yanked Taehyung away from the Soobin guy.
"No Yoonie!" Taehyung kicked and squirmed, both littles began crying at the separation. "We have to stay here to rest, their leader of their band just died." Changmin looked Soobin in the eyes.
"Everyone dies. Get out of our place- they should get over it."
