5 years later

Life isn't the same,it changed the moment Jeongguk walked out the door. It changed everything for the worse because everyday after that day Taehyung was fighting to stay alive. To find a motive to live through his miserable life. It was safe to say they didn't see each other at all,Taehyung tried to call him and text him to see if Jeongguk is okay but he had blocked him in every single application. He had it coming and just like He forced Jeongguk to move on,he should move on too.

He stopped going to his apartment,he never stepped inside that bar ever again. Never ran into his friends either. It's like everything that involved Jeongguk just disappeared from his life,Jeongguk included. So he had nothing to turn to except work. He brought this to himself now he has to reap the consequences of his actions.

One advantage he did for himself was stop indulging in his gang activities,he had stopped going to missions as he declared that the moment he stepped into that abandoned building. He is still the leader ,just because he has stopped going to missions doesn't mean he still doesn't lead them. He is all his gang got right now,there is no better leader than him. Since their biggest enemy is out,they are not in a dangerous position anymore so they can handle the small affairs without alerting Taehyung about it. He won't lie, going to missions was all he ever did, so when jeongguk left, he thought to go back to what it was. He tried to go on a mission but his attempts failed unfortunately because all he could think about was Jeongguk.

Everything reminded him of the younger. The blue blanket they used to share when Jeongguk slept over,their talks in soft voices that went the whole night, Younger calming voice that sometimes sang him to sleep. The take outs, getting drunk and having messy drunk make outs. The way his tattooed hands went through Taehyung's hair,stroking them softly while whispering the sweetest thing in his ear. The way his nose would scrunch with a wide smile on his face when Taehyung would do the same gesture. His loud laugh when the latter would do something that isn't even that funny.

He misses him so much sometimes it gets hard to breathe. The sensation inside his chest tightens to the point of suffocation. There wasn't one day in the last 1825 days where he didn't think about Jeongguk. With every single thing being a constant reminder of the younger boy, he thinks if he even made the right decision by driving the younger out of his life.

Now here he is,still single and so depressed he sometimes wonders how long he can live like this again. He hates his habit of letting his relationship take control of his whole life because he doesn't think he has ever been this miserable. He is worse than when Seungho died. At Least he moved on considering Seungho is dead,how can he move on when he knows Jeongguk is out there somewhere.

He did one right thing though,he started seeing a therapist. It was hard at first to open up to a mere stranger but that same feeling helped him open up because he knew a stranger would not judge him. Within some sessions the therapist concluded he had borderline personality disorder and the cause is all tied to childhood. His brain wasn't able to develop properly at a young age because of constant abuse and all the other trauma he suffered through. That was the environmental factor which is the main factor in his case for his disorder. He is now taking pills for it and according to the therapist he has shown growth so that's like the single positive news he had gotten. He was also diagnosed with Depression. Which is why he is still going to the therapy sessions.

He wasn't even shocked at that,he had gotten very lonely and this time it wasn't only Jeongguk. Jimin and he got seperate places. Well technically only Jimin did as Taehyung stayed in the penthouse that he has all to himself now but for what when he has no one to invite over,no one to spend the night with. Just him and a bottle of wine,drinking most nights away it was becoming a problem that sometimes his friends would come over and stay the night to check on him.

The reason Jimin moved out is because he moved in with Namjoon. Yes you heard it right,somewhere in the last 5 years Jimin and Namjoon found eachother again and hit it off. Namjoon was very mature and did not hold Taehyung's actions to Jeongguk against Jimin. He claimed it's none of his business what they did since they are both adults who can handle their situation. It was indeed awkward when Namjoon and Taehyung met again because of Jimin.

Taehyung tried to ask him about Jeongguk but namjoon didn't answer one question about younger and it was fair,he was looking after his friend he doesn't owe Taehyung anything. He said Jeongguk has never been this hurt...not ever since his father left. Taehyung apologized to Namjoon but he shut him down immediately saying if anyone he should be apologizing to right now it should be Jeongguk.

He does think sometimes if he made a mistake but he had to do it. Even if he doesn't go on missions anymore doesn't mean he isn't in danger. Their boss got killed like this and he was in the same position as tae. So its better...he's convincing himself even though the pain of Jeongguk leaving is worse than pain of Jeongguk getting harmed. He doesn't know how long he can go on like this. 5 years are too much.

Signing papers away on a Tuesday afternoon. Just doing the usual stuff he always does. Sitting in his comfortable arm chair with his back leaned onto the table,focusing fully on reading all these papers and signing it. It's the most boring part of the day and he just can't wait to get out of here soon.

A knock was heard on the door to get Taehyung out of his misery. Muttering a low "come in" and the door was opened. Min Yoongi,his secretary, came in with some more papers in his hands. Putting them on Taehyung's desk,Piling up more papers.

"Your assistance is required in the finance department" Yoongi told him,Making the nan groan in annoyance.

"Why?"

"The department manager is acting up,he's asking for you"

"..why?"

"Well He got into a fight with an intern when the intern called out his mistakes in one of the forms He made. He said some rude things to the intern so the intern punched him" Yoongi explained the situation. Taehyung laughed at the situation. "Are you really laughing? this is a serious situation"

"Hey,you can't blame me. We got a tough intern. Anyway, Just fire him"

"Sir,he's the manager,we can't just fire him,it will be hard to find a replacement so early" Yoongi complained to him. Taehyung stopped signing his papers,putting the pen down and looking up at Yoongi.

"Yoongi-sshi,if the manager is being corrected by a mere intern,do you think he deserves to be in his position and if it's a one time mistake I still don't want someone who would disturb the work space and act rude on small things to their juniors. So fire him,I am pretty sure for a company as big as this one,many would come running for his replacement" He answered all of yoongi's questions.

The latter had nothing to say,He sighed and nodded. He was going to exit but he immediately stopped in his tracks and went back to Taehyung as if he just remembered something.

"Oh I just remembered. I have arranged a meeting for you with the CEO of Han private limited company. He came all the way from America and will be staying in Seoul for a while. It took me a lot of pleading to get him to have a meeting with you so please maintain your mood with him"

"What is that supposed to mean? and why is he so special?"

"Taehyung-Ah,I'm telling you this because I am also your friend. Your mood is never good and it hasn't been for awhile. We need the CEO to invest in our company shares.That will be really beneficial for us as Han's stocks are so high right now so we need their support for our betterment" Yoongi explained to him and Taehyung sighed.

"Fine whatever,what time the meeting is?"

"In like an hour or two,The room is ready, we are just waiting for the CEO to arrive" He told him as he nodded and dismissed Yoongi to leave the room.

After waiting for about one hour and half,Taehyung's office door was once again opened and greeted by Yoongi. "The CEO is here,he's waiting for your presence alone in the room" Yoongi said.

Taehyung got up from his seat and followed Yoongi through the hallways to the meeting room. All of the employees greeted Taehyung as he walked past them,out of respect. Making him feel a bit above them for some reason. Almost 6 years and he still isn't used to being a CEO- and a leader- and having all this power in his hands.

Yoongi stood outside and told Taehyung to go in. Telling him he would be back with other meeting members. He nodded and dismissed him. Watching Yoongi walk away and now finally facing the door.

Grabbing the door handle and pushing it to open the door. The door was opened and he was met with an empty meeting room. There are all these empty chairs with no one sitting on them. His eyes immediately fell on the man who's back was towards Taehyung as he admired the boards full of their achievements certificates.

"Ah You are here,I hope you didn't have to wait too long for me" Taehyung said to the man as he closed the door. He heard no response,As if the man froze.

Taehyung walked towards him,and that's when the man turned around. He felt his world stop for a brief second. The hold on his heart got tighter as he started to breathe a bit too loudly when his eyes fell on the familiar doe-eyed man looking back at him with the same shock.

His hair pushed back,His cute button nose and those sinful lips that didn't leave his mind since he left. Feeling weak on his knees. He looked so mature,the innocence and naivety he had in his eyes was gone now and he looked alot more intimidating. He wanted to call him out but it was like the words weren't leaving his mouth. He was astonished.

"Jeongguk.."

He knew the latter was feeling the same as him. He saw his eyebrow furrowed as his eyes softened and a frown was on his lips. He could see tears forming in the younger boy's eyes. It was like he got hit by a flood. Jeongguk finally opened his mouth to say something. Looking straight into Taehyung's eyes.

"I missed you"
