"It's nothing serious,you guys have nothing to be worried about. Patient passed out of weakness and also...is he going through some kind of traumatic experience or has he gone through one? either way that has affected his mental health alot and we can see signs of depression. We will just run more necessary tests and then you guys can take him home,it's better If he stays the night and he will get discharged tomorrow" the doctor assigned. They all let out a breath of relief that he was OK now.

"Ok,Can we meet him? is he awake?" Jeongguk asked him immediately.

"Yes ofcourse" As soon as he replied, Jeongguk went inside the room with Eunwoo and Mingyu following him. Yugyeom and Jiyoom went home to put back all of the stuff and they were going to come back to hospital but Jeongguk told them that Taehyung's situation isn't that serious so they can just ask about how he is later some time.

Jeongguk entered the room,to see Taehyung sitting upwards in the bed,with a drip in his wrist that will provide him with the nutrients he needs to gain his energy back. (I have no idea how medical works so I'm sorry if some medical student is reading this)

His skin was pale white. It's like all the colours fade away and here was Taehyung who looked like he came back from the dead. He was looking outside the window,not noticing the presence of the three boys who just entered the room. He really looked weak,it's like whatever he went through took his soul with them.

"Hyungie!! hey oh my god,are you okay? Do you know how worried you made me?" Jeongguk said to the man who whips his head towards him and smiles softly.

"I am sorry,I don't know what came over me. I am sorry for ruining your guys trip"

"Nah it's okay hyung. Your health is more important,we can plan a trip similar like this again too, no worries.'' Mingyu said as he doesn't want the man to worry too much about him ruining it because it's not like he passed out on purpose.

"Yeah. You really had all of us worried...Just try to take care of yourself. Everyone who is special to our Gukkie is special to us too" Eunwoo said to him,making all of them smile. Jeongguk couldn't hold it in, he needed to know what happened so he signalled Eunwoo to leave with Mingyu. Thankfully he catched it.

"Ah,me and Mingyu are going to go now,Take care, both of you"

"We are?"

"Yes,we are." He grabbed Mingyu's arm and gave him a forceful smile.

"Thank you, Eunwoo you too" Taehyung told them as both of the boys walked out of the room.

"Ok hyung now tell me, Just what even happened? What were you thinking about? Mingyu told me he saw you shaking so bad and before he could even ask if you are okay you fell to the ground. Is everything okay? is there something worrying you?" Jeongguk blabbering was making no sense to Taehyung who just stared at him.

"Cool down...you worry too much. Sit down here first and then talk" He tapped next to him. Younger sighed and sat next to him on the small bed. Taehyung was facing him.

"It wasn't anything serious, I was just exhausted so I passed out-" he cut off Taehyung mid sentence because he knew that wasn't the truth.

"Don't lie to me,hyung. No one has a panic attack when they are exhausted. There's always a reason. What is worrying you so much?" He questioned him,making eye contact with the latter.

Sudden silence settled between them. The older man didn't answer his questions and instead just kept on staring at him. Jeongguk raised his eyebrow in confusion. What is going inside his mind right now? I guess we will never know. Before he could even ask what was taking him so long to answer he saw how Taehyung's eyes were welling up in tears.

His own eyes widened in shock when he saw his hyung cry out of nowhere. The tears suddenly falling down and not stopping.

"h-hyung...hey...are you okay? what happened please tell me" Jeongguk stuttered a bit because he was absolutely shocked. Did he say anything that hurt him?

Once again,Taehyung didn't answer and before Jeongguk could comfort him, The older man just opened up his arms and wrapped them rightly around Jeongguk's shoulders, engulfing him into a hug. Jeongguk didn't even hesitate to hug him back by putting his arms around his waist.

If all of this wasn't so out of the ordinary enough,what he said next almost made Jeongguk lose his mind because of what was happening.

"Don't leave me..." He cried into his shoulder. "Please don't ever leave me again,Seungho"

Seungho.

Seungho.

Jeongguk is not Seungho and he also has no idea who that is either but he needs to know now that his Taehyung is mistaking him to be someone else.

"Taehyung I am not-"

"Shh!! I know I hurt you but I swear I won't do it again. I missed you so much, I have nightmares every night. I haven't slept well ever since you left..please never leave me. I love you Seungho'' Taehyung said to him in between his cries.

The words he wanted to hear most from Taehyung's mouth..he heard it right now but for another man who is not him and he also has no idea who this man is too.

Taehyung pulled away from the hug. The endearing look still in his eyes. He pulled the younger closer by wrist and immediately cupped his face. His fingers linger on the younger's soft skin.

"You have gotten so much more handsome Seungho...But why do you feel so distant when you are so close to me?" Taehyung's voice broke out in the middle. The tears once again falling. Jeongguk froze,he didn't know what to do.

"Taehyungie hyung..it's me Jeongguk,please" He managed to say,observing Taehyung but he just looked more confused.

"W-what are you saying ? no,you are my Seungho..no please don't leave me" Taehyung grabbed his hands tightly,pleading.

"Snap out of it,hyung. Please, it's me Jeon Jeongguk,I am not Seungho. Come to your senses" Jeongguk shakes his hands a bit to make him come back.

"You are not seungho...You said you won't leave me so why are you disappearing...why did you leave me alone here?? why didn't you...just take me with you......" He went silent and then all Taehyung could hear was Taehyung hysterically crying.

It hurt his heart so much seeing the man he likes breaking down and calling out his old lover's name who is not not around anymore. Jeongguk couldn't do anything but pull Taehyung towards himself,making his head crash against the younger man's chest. He wrapped his arms around the older man and just let him cry in his arms.

Rubbing his back slowly,not trying to stop him because he should let out everything that has been inside him. Jeongguk can't do anything but try to mend this broken man. The surroundings didn't matter anymore. It was just two of them In a small world of their own.

After some time,the cries slowly died down and before Jeongguk even knew,Taehyung fell asleep in his arms,snoring lightly. After all that he was exhausted and it drained all the energy from inside. He needs this. Jeongguk tried to get a bit down as he was in a sitting position. Once he got comfortable with laying down with Taehyung wrapped all around him he just sighed.

This is a mess. He really had to fall for a man who closed his heart once he fell in love. Reserved himself once his lover left. A man who will probably never return his feelings.

Even after that,it still feels worth it. Jeongguk knows he's stupid and foolish but if he had choice to fall inlove with Taehyung he would do it over and over again. He likes it too much,he likes this man too much.

Suddenly the door burst open,Getting Jeongguk out of his train of thoughts. He looked up and saw Park Jimin,Taehyung's best friend. The worried look on his face and the sweat dripping down from his face looked like he ran all the way here.

"Jeongguk,how is he?!?!" Jimin questioned.

"Tone it down,He is sleeping as you can see. Wait" Jeongguk said to him as he tried to untangle himself from Taehyung's arms and successfully made him lay down alone in the bed as he got up.

Walking towards the other man as mboth of them took a seat on the empty seats in this room.

"So what happened? When you told me Taehyung had a breakdown in beach I came right away,why would you take him to the fucking beach Jeongguk?"

"I didn't know he was scared of it, hyung. Even when I asked him we could leave if he wants to,he still didn't agree and told me that he doesn't want to ruin this for me"

"Oh taehyung....God Jeongguk it's so much worse than that. He just does not hate beaches. He has his best and the worst memories attached to it He gets bad panic attacks when he even thinks about those and this time he went to the same location"

"Can you tell me what happened?"

"I don't think it's my place to tell but I know Taehyung trusts you so I'll just tell you. Taehyung tried to...kill himself on that beach. He just went towards the waves and waited till it completely...drowned him" the pain in Jimin's voice was so visible. Jeongguk gasped at what he said. he couldn't believe himself.

"What?! why?!? how did you guys save him????"

"Why is not my place to tell. It's a story too long that Taehyung will tell you once he thinks it's time you know. How...We almost lost him Jeongguk,fuck" Jimin paused as even the memory of almost losing his beat friend made him want to cry.

"It's all thanks to Hoseok hyung. You have met him before in the bar. He and Taehyung were supposed to meet up the same night but Taehyung didn't show up and there's this one incident that happened recently that hurt Taehyung deeply so the second he didn't show up, Hoseok didn't waste any time because he knew something was wrong. He called all of us and told us to look for Taehyung" Jimin paused before continuing again.

"I was crying so hard because I couldn't find Taehyung anywhere. It was absolutely traumatising to even think what could have happened to him. Hoseok went to the beach and saw Taehyung's body getting hit by waves as it took him. He jumped into the water and it took him some time to get Taehyung out because it was midnight and very dark,Taehyung was unconscious. We immediately performed CPR and took him to hospital. Thank god there wasn't too much water in his lungs so he survived...just a few more seconds and we would have lost him Guk '' Jimin finished explaining.

Jeongguk felt a suffocating feeling inside his chest. After hearing about what happened, he felt so guilty for dragging Taehyung to that beach. He knows he shouldn't blame himself because how could he have known but it still makes him so upset. Just what could have caused this to happen....then it hit him.

"Can I ask you something? Did...someone named Seungho caused all this?" The second Jeongguk said his name, he saw how Jimin froze and his eyes widened.

"H-how do you know Seungho?"

"So he did. Taehyung just kept on calling me that name and how he doesn't want this seungho to leave him so I just put two and two together...was he like Hyung's past lover?" Jeongguk asked and Jimin nodded, not saying too much as he already had said so much.

"Oh...well I should get going now,I have my shift later at the bar so um please take care of hyung" Jeongguk gave him a smile and just walked past him to get out of this room,sparing Taehyung one last glance and going out.

"Jungkook why are you drinking like you went through a breakup? Why are you even here? Your shift to sing is not today" Jin said to his friend who was chugging down the drinks he had in his hand. He is really taking advantage of free drinks. Jin is generous so it's free drinks for him and jungkook only because he adores Jeongguk. It's his bar and they have to listen to him.

"Hyung,what do you do when the person you are in love with calls you another man's name? confess his undying love for that man in front of you" Jeongguk gave him a situation. Jin immediately understood this is worse than breaking up its unrequited love.

"Move on,Why...did something happen with Taehyung? is everything OK?" Jin immediately catched up.

"No,nothing is okay. Hyung,he is suffering much more than I thought he was. I just don't know if he can ever make a place for me in his heart...or even in his complicated life"

"Guk,I don't know what his deal is but all I can say is move on. Taehyung is from a different world than us and he even has a complicated past. I don't think making space for you will be easy. Unless you want to fight as hard as you can for him than go for it I won't stop you but just promise me...Once it gets too much you will back out and move on" Jin made eye contact with him,telling him he is 100% serious about this.

"I promise,I am ready to give that man my soul if he wants me too. I am not backing out,I'll prove to him that I'm worthy for his love" Jeongguk seemed to cheer up a but once he realises this isn't the end,he will make Taehyung move on from his past if that's the last thing he has to do.

"That's my boy.Now stop drinking too much and go home. I'll have to go,have to manage shit here" The older man stood up from his chair and walked away from him.

Jeongguk sighed and looked at the glass in his hand. He took one last sip and called it a day. He isn't going to drink more or he would have to deal with his headache tomorrow. He started to get all his things together and was even going to pay for his drinks but the bartender didn't let him as its his hyung's orders.

Just before he could get up and leave l,he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw three buff looking men all dressed in suits and wearing sunglasses,Looking straight at him with this intimidating expression. Either they were rich assholes or some type of hit man no inbetween. He raised his eyebrow at them because just what business do they have with him.

"Yes? do I know you all?" Jeongguk asked them politely,not trying to pick a fight.

"Are you Jeon Jeongguk?" the one in the middle spoke up.

"Yes,how do you know my name?" He felt all his red flags going off. This isn't something he usually experiences.

"Do you know where V is?" The one on the left spoke,totally ignoring his question.

Jeongguk froze and didn't try to show his fear on his face because he definitely knows what is going on now. "V???? that's it? no last name or something? I don't think I know this V,you guys are talking about"

"Are you sure you don't know anyone you know who is named V? Any acquaintance or something" they seemed very suspicious of Jeongguk.

"Not that I recall but it is a unique name so if I knew someone with that name I would have told you so yes no I don't know anyone with this name. Can I ask why are you asking me about this person?" Jeongguk tried to seem as harmless as possible even though his palm was sweaty and he was one call away from calling Jimin.

Thankfully and strangely, they did not say another word and just turned around and walked towards the exit,not answering his question or sparing him another look.

Now that was weird and he knows he has to tell this to the duo before something else happens because the fact they know his name is already scary considering there is some gang out there that was looking for him in order to trace V.

Instead of going home,he changes his route back to the hospital. He can not sleep in that place alone and he needs to tell those two about this too.
