Her With The Fast Car

The next day, everyone seemed to be in good mood. Wonder what happened.

"I heard a noise last night," Loki said with a knowing smirk on his face as he chewed on bacon.

They were at the table having breakfast.

"W-what noise?" Lucy's head jerked up, remembering what she and Natsu did.

What if the others heard her moans? She even made sure she wasn't too loud the whole time.

"Me, too" Gray added.

"At around 1 AM," even Levy heard it.

Now Lucy started to feel nervous. Natsu who was beside her noticed this, so he placed his hand on her thigh under the table. Calming her down.

"It came from Erza's room," Gajeel said simply, shoving pizza into his mouth. Pizza for breakfast. Mmm. Healthy.

Lucy who was secretly holding her breath finally felt relieved.

"Heard a man's voice as well," Cana was eyeing Erza as she said it, her eyebrows wiggling at the redhead.

"You guys are crazy," Erza defended.

"Was it you, Jellal?" Sting pretended not to know.

But of course, everyone already knew about it. Aside from Lucy and Natsu, apparently, they were quite busy that time when it happened.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Jellal said coolly, acting like nothing happened as he drank his glass of juice, "I was sleeping in my room the entire time."

"Lies," Levy murmured.

"Yeah? Then why did I see you come out of Erza's room earlier this morning?" Loki made sure everyone heard it.

Jellal instantly choked on his drink and accidentally spit on Loki's face.

"Woah! Dude!" Loki jumped up from the seat. Rubbing the liquid off, everyone was laughing at him.

"Karma is a bitch, Loki," Natsu said, chuckling.

Blue-shades turned to him with a mischievous smirk. Like he knew a secret that shouldn't be spilled.

"It wasn't just Jellal, though," Loki started, "I never saw you walk out of Lucy's room last night as well, Natsu."

Then like an angel passed the table, everyone went silent.

Only Gajeel's stifled laugh was heard.

"Sit down, Leo." Natsu's face returned to being serious.

Leo.

.

That day, they planned to have a camping outside the lakehouse. They had a vast green area around them, it would be a waste not to spend a night or two outside just stargazing.

The girls all went to the grocery store using the minivan. They volunteered to be in charge for the food for the bonfire. Natsu tried to have one of the boys accompany them just in case, but Levy insisted they go by themselves for 'girls time'.

And the guys?

Getting stuff ready for the camp. Building up the tents and gathering up firewood. Basically everything that needed muscle.

.

At the grocery store, true enough, they were having a girl-talk the whole time.

"Why won't you just admit it?" Cana started as she put lots of beer on the pushcart, "You slept together last night, did you?"

"I already told you, we didn't," Erza denied yet again.

"Oh come on, Erza. Everybody knows you two like each other," Levy mooned.

"You know, you're just like my cousin," Erza sighed, "Mirajane." She was the one pushing the cart.

"You're changing the topic," Lucy said as she walked at the front. She was holding the list of food to be bought.

"I-I'm not!" the redhead's face went pink, "It's not like you and Natsu haven't done it as well."

Just after she said it, the girls immediately turned to her.

She just confessed it.

"You just said 'as well'," Cana repeated with a wicked look on her face.

"You just admitted it! Hah!" Levy shouted in excitement.

"Actually," Lucy said giggling, "Natsu and I haven't done it yet. We haven't went that far."

"That means, YOU!" Cana said as she pointed to the flushed redhead, "Have just experienced complete pleasure!"

"Wh- Hey!" Erza hastily covered her mouth, "Stop shouting. It's embarrassing."

The brunette raised her arms as if giving up.

"So..." Levy started, cheeks red. The girls turned to her as she got their attention, "H-How did it feel like?"

They were just staring at her.

Oh innocent Levy.

Erza fake coughed, still with a flustered face.

"Right, let's go. We need to pay for all these stuff," she said as she started walking towards the counter.

"I'm with ya on that," Cana followed her from behind. Not wanting to be the one to answer Levy's question.

"But! Wait!" Levy ran after them, clearly wanting to know the answer.

Lucy just giggled as she looked at them. Ah... friends. The kind that leave you behind.

She was heading towards the counter when a stranger placed something in her sling bag.

A paper.

Lucy didn't seem to notice this.

But she was going to find out soon enough.

.

"Look at the constellations," Lucy started as she gazed on the stars above them, "Aquarius is my favorite."

"You told me that a long time ago," Natsu said, smirking as he followed her pointer finger.

They were all outside, laying on a huge blanket spread on the grass.

"I thought Leo the Lion was your favorite?" Loki shouted out, he was grilling the steak with Sting. They were near the bonfire, a little far from the others.

"Keep your pants on, Loki," Jellal chuckled at his joke. He was laid next to Erza.

"It's so beautiful," Levy whispered, "I envy them."

"You're definitely way more beautiful."

"Huh?" Levy turned to her right where Gajeel was, facing at the sky, "What did you say?"

"What?" he asked back, acting like he had no idea what just happened, "I didn't say nothing."

But Levy heard it right. So instead, she stared back at the stars with a faint smile on her lips.

"My throat feels so dry," Lucy started and turned to Natsu, "I'll go get some water."

.

The door of the cabin made a soft sound as it opened. Lucy entered and made her way to the kitchen.

As she was passing by the living room, she noticed her sling bag. She forgot to put it back in her room after they went to the store.

When she got to her bedroom, she threw her sling on the bed and turned to leave.

But before she could completely turn around, she noticed a folded white piece of paper that got out of the bag when she threw it.

Lucy walked towards the bed, interested on what that unfamiliar paper was doing in there.

It was a note.

For her.

The instant she read it, she went pale. Cold. And she started shaking as she stared at it with wide eyes.

'We know who you are.

Your partner made a terrible mistake.

Everything's got a price.

If you want to keep that pink-haired punk alive

Go to the public park alone tonight.'

What was she going to do? This was obviously a threat. But she couldn't just ignore it. Natsu's life had something to do about it. He was her everything. And she would do anything for him.

Lucy knew that what she was going to do was not a very good idea. But at the moment of being consumed by fear and the thought of losing him, there was no time to think straight.

She was going to grant whoever sent the paper what they wanted.

Lucy hastily went down the stairs. Put on Natsu's black hoodie that was laid on the couch.

Then she saw it. Jellal's car keys. He loved that mustang so much. He wouldn't mind if she borrowed his car right?

Without hesitation, she grabbed the keys and started running to the door and into the parking lot.

Once she saw the black mustang parked beside the other vehicles, she hurriedly slid into the driver's seat. If she acted too slow, everyone might notice her absence and look for her.

The car's engine instantly came alive. Being the daughter of a car company's CEO, Lucy was an expert when we talk about driving.

She started driving away from the lot, from the cabin, making a drift as she made her way to the vast ground's entrance.

.

"Wait a minute," Jellal sat up straight, frightening the others with his sudden reaction, "Do you hear that?"

"What?" Natsu said, standing up.

"I think that's...," he started, then when he heard that familiar noise again, his eyes immediately went wide, "The sound of my car driving away!"

And Jellal started running towards the cabin. More specifically, towards where his mustang was supposed to be parked.

Everyone ran after him, prepared if there was some thief lurking around the area.

But before they could get near the cabin, Jellal's mustang just drove right past them. With Lucy on the driver's seat.

"Is that...Lucy?!" Jellal stared in disbelief.

As if on instinct, they started chasing after the car. Shouting after the blonde. But to no avail.

"LUCY!" Natsu shouted. More like angrily.

They all eventually came to a stop. There was no chance in keeping up with a fast car.

"What's she up to?" Levy said, out of breath.

"Why would she leave?" Gajeel asked no one.

No one had an answer anyway.

"Shit!" Natsu cursed.

By the way he looked, they all knew he was pissed. Could be at the fact that Lucy went away without telling him, or because he was concerned if something bad might happen to her. Maybe both.

"Son of a-," He mumbled, "Where does that girl think she's going?!"

Now he's obviously angry.

"At a time like this!" Natsu continued.

"Calm down, man," Gray started to walk up to Natsu.

But let's just say Natsu couldn't be always under control.

"Don't fucking tell me to calm down, Gray!" he said as he pointed a finger at the raven-haired.

"Oh you wanna go?" Gray was triggered.

He was always the one calming Natsu down, but if Natsu got way out of control, he was also the one to try and stop him. Even if it meant the hard way.

"Cool it dude," Loki stretched out a hand in front of Gray, "Just let him be for a while."

"Relaaax..." Jellal started, "Everyone just hold your horses."

"Fuck that shit," Natsu said impatiently, "We don't even know where she is."

"That's not entirely true," Jellal reached for his backpocket and got his phone,

"I placed a tracking device on that car."
