Arielle's POV:
"Are you ever gonna tell me where you went that day?" Jennifer asked as she continued playing with my hair.
"I already told you Jen, I went to go see Adrianna." I sighed, know ing that I was only telling her a part of where I went.
"What were you guys talking about?" Jen asked.
"Sisterly things. Don't worry about it Jen." I told her. Ever since I met Adriana that day I've been meeting with her frequently, so that she can help me plan out how I was going to ask Jennifer out... again. But after a couple of meetings she saus that I should just do it whenever the moment felt right, and that I shouldn't plan it. I had already brought her a necklace for when I was going to ask her out, I just didn't know when that was going to happen.
Ding
"Was that your phone?" I asked, raising my head from her lap.
"No, was it yours?" She asked.
I reached over to the table and checked my phone.
"Yea it was..." I answered.
"Who is it?" She asked.
"I don't know, it's just a random number." I responded, looking at the text message for a few more seconds and then turning my phone off. I rested my head back on Jennifer's lap and she went back to playing with my hair.
"Have you spoken to Jaylin?" I asked Jennifer.
"No, I've tried but she hasn't answered my calls or my texts."
I sighed. "I really hope that she answers soon. I mean hanging out with you is amazing and everything, but I really miss my bestfriend."
"I know, what you mean. I don't know what I would do without Olivia. I'll try her again and hopefully she does answer."
-------------------------------------
I couldn't sleep.
I kept tossing and turning.
I tried to stop thinking about the text message that I got earlier, but I just couldn't keep my mind off of it.
Curiousity finally got the best of me and I checked my phone.
I opened the unsaved number.
Is this Arielle? The text message read.
Why does that matter? Who are you? I texted the number back.
I turned off my phone and was about to put it away when I felt my phone vibrate signalling that I got a text message.
It only matters who I am if you are Arielle Agostinelli. So is this her number? The person texted back.
I thought about saying no and ending the conversation right there, but whoever this was was obviously looking for me, and it seemed to be somewhat important.
But then again what if it was Mason?
I quickly dismissed that thought, knowing that Mason wouldn't be stupid enough to talk to me over text.
This is she. Now tell me who you are? I answered.
Meet me at 146 Alpha Street here tomorrow at 10:30, don't be late. The person texted back.
What? Who are you? I quickly texted.
Hello?
No response.
Who are you?
No response.
I am not an enemy to you Arielle. We will meet tomorrow.
I sighed, turning my phone off and putting it on the night stand.
---------------------------------
I entered the StarBucks and looked for a suspicious looking person. I had checked the location the location beforehand, and since I saw that it was a Starbucks, I knew that this person couldn't possibly do anything to hurt me.
I looked down at my watch and read the time.
10:30 on the dot.
I surveyed the room one more time and nothing.
No one here seemed to look like how I assumed the person who texted me would.
I took out my phone and messaged the unsaved number.
I'm at the address. Where are you?
Booth on the right. They responded.
I turned my head towards the right and saw three booths.
One booth had a girl and a boy, they looked like college students on a date of some sort.
The second booth had a woman, who seemed like she was in her late twenties, and even from where I was standing, I could tell she had on extremely expensive clothing.
The third booth had a man in his late forties, he was dressed casually and I probably wouldn't have walked over to that table but there was one deciding factor.
He had a phone in his hand.
I walked over to that booth and sat down across from the man.
"Who are you and what do you want?" I asked him.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, looking at me as if I had ten heads.
"Aren't you the one that has been texting me?" I asked him.
I then felt my phone vibrate and I looked at it.
Wrong table.
I looked around and saw the blonde lady in the booth near this one smirking at me and waving a phone at me.
I looked back at the man in the booth and then back at the woman and then the man in the booth again.
"I am so sorry sir. I happened to sit at the wrong table." I said to the man and got up.
He didn't say anything and just stared at me. I took that as my cue to leave and went over to the woman's booth.
When I sat down she looked at me and then started dying of laughter. I didn't say anything and just stared at her. She had straight blonde hair that ended at her shoulders and had ocean blue eyes. She had on a decent amount of make-up. She looked familiar, but I know that I have never met this woman before.
"Sorry, I just didn't know that Jennifer's type is idiots." The woman said and sipped her coffee.
I took a lot out of me not to give this woman a reaction.
"Who are you and what do you want?" I asked her.
"Quite the impatient one. Aren't you going to make small talk with me first?" She said.
"Look, stop playing around and answer." I said, growing angry.
"Feisty much..." I heard her mumble and take a little sip of her coffee.
"I am Daniella Moore, and I want you to break up with Jennifer." The woman said.
