Chris' POV

"What the hell are we even looking for Chris?"

"You'll see soon. Just trust me!"

I was pretty sure the place I was looking for had to be somewhere around here. I just had to show Jonny even though there was a tiny but undeniable risk of me being totally wrong and never finding back. But the area still looked familiar enough for me to pretend I knew the way.

"But you said that one hour ago already! It's not like we didn't have an exhausting day already."

Jonny was right, the day had been anything but boring and eventless... With some parts not being too pleasing.

"Well, at least no one is gonna find us here."

Even Jonny had to admit that was indeed a great argument thinking of what had happened earlier.

*flashback*

"Look, that sounds great!"

Jonny was holding up some brochure he must have picked up yesterday.

I looked at Jonny doubtfully, rather unhappy with his choice.

"You sure we don't just want to stay here where there are no people around?"

"Oh come on! Let's visit at least a few sights. Then we can still spend the rest of the day somewhere lonely."

"Alright... But no longer than a few hours!"

*2 hours later*

"Okay, this place is more crowded than I thought it would be..."

"I told you we should have stayed somewhere more private, didn't I?"

This was one of those moments when I was really grateful to look as ordinary as one could imagine. Things must be a lot more difficult when you looked like Beyoncé or Harry Styles and always got recognized right away. Still you never knew who the people around were and holding hands with Jonny seemed way too risky.

"But you have to admit, it's quite a nice place here."

After our exhausting sightseeing I led Jonny to a place that seemed less crowded and hidden behind a few bushes and trees. It was time I could finally feel his lips and body on mine again after acting like not more than friends for a few hours. It didn't take much to convince Jonny either.

After some time we decided we should make our way back to the car to find a nice place to spend the evening. I was the first to step out of our little private place but it didn't take long until I came to a sudden halt again.

"Fuck."

"What's the matter?"

"I think someone just recognized me. I'm not sure if it's just a fan though or the paparazzi."

I took a few steps back into the trees, well aware I wouldn't have much time.

"What are we gonna do now? It will look very suspicious if we both come walking out of the bushes together..."

"We can't do that."

I wasn't ready to deal with this situation yet.

"They're gonna follow me for sure if we try to escape through the woods... Jonny, you just take the way through here to the car and I'll face them, then they'll get what they want."

"Are you sure?"

Before I could answer I already saw the person approaching so I got ready to face them.

I still had a little hope left that it might just be a fan who recognized me but I soon knew that wouldn't be the case when I saw the tall man pulling out his large camera.

How the hell did they even know I was here? Somebody must have dropped him a hint or spotted my car driving here, it's not like this was a place where celebrities regularly walked by.

I tried my best to stay calm and ignore his questions even though I was really tempted to give in to the strong urge to punch him right in the face. The scene he was causing of course also caught the attention of the tourists around.

All I could hope for was that he didn't already watch Jonny and me earlier but it didn't seem so.

Luckily I made way through soon. I just wanted to get to my car and be with Jonny again.

*flashback end*

"So are we gonna be there soon? My feet are hurting."

"Now stop complaining and being a pussy.", I teased Jonny. "It's your turn to trust me now, I'm sure I'll find the right way soon."

"So you don't even know for sure?"

We both had to laugh and out of the corner of my eye I suddenly spotted what I was looking for.

I pointed to the tiny steep path hidden between two stone walls. On both sides there were the remainings of a railing that looked a lot more intact in my memories. I helped Jonny up the bumpy way, doing my best not to fall myself. But as soon as I reached the top I knew the long search had been so worth it. In front of my eyes I saw the most beautiful place on earth slowly become clearer as I got closer. The water of the tiny stream sparkled in the evening sun and on the ground the biggest variety of flowers seemed to grow. It still looked as enchanted as it had in my childhood memories. But the fact that I could share it with the love of my life now made it seem even more perfect.

I watched Jonny's eyes get wider as he approached the top of the trail, clearly at least as amazed as I was.

"WOW."

I smiled at him and he couldn't stop staring.

"I can't believe a place like this isn't famous and crowded by tourists!"

"I know! To be honest I feared it would be by now."

We both walked along the stream for a while holding each others hands admiring the beauty of the nature. Something about it made me feel even more in love with Jonny even though I had no idea that was possible.

Jonny must have felt the same. I don't really know how, but soon I ended up laying in the grass with Jonny on top of me. We had shared many passionate kisses already but this time it felt different.

I felt Jonny's hand making its way underneath my shirt that had already slipped up past my belly button anyway.

It didn't really need words for both of us to tell each other was ready for this. Our bodies doubtlessly gave it away. I had always imagined how it would go, after all it was my first time with... well... the person on top of me not being a girl. But it couldn't have felt any more natural.

I pulled off Jonny's shirt as well and he started kissing my chest intensely. I couldn't help the unintentional moan escaping my throat as the tingles made their way through my body from the tips of my toes.

Gosh, he felt so good.

But I soon became aware that was only the beginning of everything. Nothing could ever compare to the whole new sensations Jonny sent through my body once we had removed the remaining parts of clothing that were still impeding in getting our bodies as close as possible...

Still breathing heavily we both rolled onto our backs. I couldn't progress what had actually just happened. But it obviously wasn't the moment for my brain to work properly in any way.

Looking up at the sky I realized the that it had already become dark and the stars were shining bright. The actual world hadn't really existed for a while.

We kept laying there just looking at the stars for a while until Jonny broke the silence.

"Aren't they just perfect?"

I knew Jonny was speaking about the stars without thinking about it.

"There's so much beauty in the world, why don't we see it instead of all the darkness?"

Jonny's words made me think. I wanted to see the good things but it could be so hard sometimes.

"You're why I see the good things, Jay. I love you so much."

"I love you too, Chris."

I leaned over to kiss him on his cheek. This moment seemed so perfectly peaceful in the fresh and clear night air, no noises around and the moon being our only light.

I randomly started to sing the line that came to my mind.

Sometimes in your eyes I see the beauty in the world...

We could stay here forever, just me and Jonny, never giving a single thought to all of our worries again...
