Stiles' POV

"And then she told me that I'll never get in, but I'll show her," Stuart said as he closed his locker.

I was sort of paying attention to what Stuart was saying, but I was looking at a new girl that was putting her books in her locker; she had medium length light brown hair and bangs.

"Stiles...Stiles!" Stuart said and snapped his fingers in my face.

"Sorry, I was just looking at the new girl," I said and nodded my head towards her. Stuart slowly turned to face her and when he did, a few books fell out of her locker.

I pushed Stuart out of the way and ran over to her. I bent down and helped her pick up her books. We stood up and she said, "Thanks," then she tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"You're welcome," I said and handed her the books that fell. She smiled the most amazing smile that made my heart skip a beat.

She then held out her hand and said, "I'm Amanda."

I shook her hand then said, "I'm Stiles. Welcome to Beacon Hills!"

"Thanks. Do you think you can show me were room 412 is?" She asked and closed her locker.

"Yeah, that's where I'm going as well so we can walk together," I said and had a small heart attack.

"Okay, that'd be great!" She replied. I got so lost in her beautiful hazel eyes and it felt like they were endless.

I then walked next to her and we made our way to our class. I quickly turned around and looked at Stuart and pumped my fist a little and mouthed 'yeah!'

Stuart laughed and turned his back towards me and walked away.

When I turned around I asked, "Why did you move here?"

"My parents' jobs got moved to here. I've only been here for less than a day and I already love it here," she said and put her hands on the straps of her backpack.

"I'm glad you like it here," I replied.

Then before I could ask another question, the power couple of the school came walking down the hallway, Isaac and Natalie.

It was like they were meant for each other. Natalie had luscious brown curly hair with piercing blue eyes and Isaac, well he was Isaac.

Everyone cheered for them as they passed and Amanda whispered, "Who are they?"

Before I could answer they walked up to us and Issac said, "Hey Stiles. Would you like to introduce us to the new girl?"

"Uh, yeah," I stammered a little. "Isaac and Natalie, this is Amanda."

In response, Amanda waved a bit shyly but she smiled.

"Nice to meet you, Amanda. If you need anyone to talk to, I'll always be here for you," Natalie said.

"Thanks," Amanda replied.

"We should probably head to class, see you at lunch," Isaac said and wrapped his arm around Natalie's waist and she leaned her head on his shoulder and waved goodbye and they continued down the hallway.

As Stuart and I walked to my Jeep, I asked, "How was your day?"

And as always, Stuart was on his phone so he gave a one word answer.

"Good," he replied.

"Did you get an email from Google yet?" I asked and opened the car door.

He got into the car and looked up from his phone and said, "Does it look like I've got a response from them yet?"

"No," I groaned and started the car.

"How's Amanda?" Stuart asked.

"She's extremely nice, and we have almost every class with each other which is amazing," I sighed and smiled at the thought of her. "And, I already got her number."

"So you're over Lydia?" Stuart asked.

"Yup, that ship has sailed and it's never coming back. I've given up and I realized that there is someone better for me out there," I said and kept my eyes locked on the road.

"Do you think you're going to tell Amanda about the supernatural?" Stuart asked scrolling through his phone.

"I would like to, I mean I definelty don't want to freak her out. I mean, she's already met two and she didn't even know. Issac the werewolf and Natalie the banshee. I guess I just need her to trust me first, you know?"

"STILES!" Stuart yelled out of nowhere causing me to swerve a little.

"What the heck, Stuart!" I yelled straighting my Jeep out in the lane.

"I got the internship! I got it!" He yelled with excitement.

I pulled my jeep onto the side of the road so I wouldn't start to drive crazy from the excitement.

I leaned over to him and gave him a bro hug. "Congrats, Stu! Now all you need to do is show off how amazing you are with the computer stuff and then you'll get the job!"

He lightly laughed then said, "Unfortunately it's not that easy, but I'll work hard and hopefully I get in," He held up his fingers as he crossed them and I started to drive the Jeep back onto the road.

"When do you leave?" I asked.

"In four days..." Stuart replied nervously.

"Four days?!" I practically yelled.

"Yeah...There's not much time, but I'm excited."

I took a deep breath and said, "I'm excited for you, too. What do you think mom will say?"

"She'll probably get extremely mad, but hey, that's life and she can't stop me from going." Stuart replied rather confidently.

By then, we were at Stuart's house, and I said, "Bye, see you tomorrow at school. And good luck with telling mom."

"Bye Stiles, thanks for the luck." And just like that, he disappeared into his house and I back out of the driveway and started to drive home.
