"soo yeong noona!" i turn around upon hearing a soft voice only to find a group of five boys seated together at a booth in the café station.

"soobin ah~." i chuckle and head over to their table. although these boy's aren't regulars i've still became friends with them because they're so adorable with their soft features and bowl hairstyles. "what can i do for you?" i ask upon arrival.

"yeonjun hyung wants a slice of strawberry cake." soobin replies and i watch yeonjun sweetly smile at me before speaking up. "can i have it to go?"

"sure, no problem." i return his smile and turn to the other three boys seated with them, who seem to be having a rock, paper, scissor battle. "and anything for you boys?" i ask and they look up at me and a choir of no's are heard.

"alright then." i fight back a smile at their cuteness and make my way over to the counter where i spot yoongi and hoseok oppa's.

"hobi oppa," i call and hoseok oppa looks at me, "i need a slice of strawberry cake to go please. it's for yeonjun ah~."

and with that hoseok oppa quickly begins boxing up the desert and he places it on the counter beside yoongi oppa. soon after i make may way back to the boys table.

"yeonjun ah~," i say and he looks up at me. "your desert's all ready. all you need to do is pay for it at the register." i inform with a soft smile.

"thank you soo yeong noona." he smiles and does a little bow in his seat.

"i'm here to help so don't worry!" i do a little bow as well.

the rest of the afternoon the other waiters, hoseok oppa and i attend to everyone that enters the café where as yoongi oppa lazily works the cash register.

omo. i just realised that yoongi oppa is a real life squidward with his mint shaded hair and how unmotivated he is about working. i cackle to myself and continue with my work.

the only reason i'm working here at the café station is because i need the cash to fulfill my needs as a teenager because the dragon lady doesn't give me an allowance. she basically hogs and wastes my father's money on herself and her daughter.

she did question me at one point in time, probing me to admit that i'm stealing money from her but i flat out denied it because i'm not capable of doing such a thing! and i could never stoop to that level. obviously, she did not believe me but luckily seokjin oppa sided me so in essence she thinks seokjin oppa gives me an allowance every month.

the point is that it's highly important that the dragon lady never ever finds out that i work here or that i receive a paycheck or else she'll take that away from me too and she'll make sure that i never set foot in this place again.

the hours fly by as fast as jungkook runs relay races and soon enough i'm fulfilling my last order for the day. afterwards, i make my way toward the counter where hoseok oppa is.

"hoseok oppa, can i ask for a favour?" i wipe the counter, wanting to make it dazzle because the café station is nothing short of remarkable.

"anything, just tell me." hoseok oppa smiles a smile that's brighter than the sun.

"can you decorate two red velvet cupcakes for me. one's for jungkook and the other's for jimin." i say, checking the counter for any stains. "i kinda promised them a specially decorated cake by you." i laugh awkwardly while fiddling with the cloth in my hands.

"what for?" yoongi oppa suddenly pipes up from behind the counter. my eyes dart to him and he's sulkily sitting on the chair.

"you know how jungkook is," i chuckle. "he saw the cupcakes you sent for me but i shared them with someone else."

"you sent cupcakes?" hoseok oppa turns to yoongi oppa, confusion written all over his face.

yoongi oppa stares back blankly, "neh, that kid, taehyung came by and bou— oh man," he scrunches up his nose and i narrow my eyes at him in confusion. "-i asked him to deliver those cupcakes to you."

i analyse his form and he's not moving nor is he showing any signs of panic, "what was your reason for sending them?" i probe.

"i just felt like it." he shrugs, his apathetic behaviour is quite convincing. "i love that we use the term oh man to express disappointment because men, are in fact, disappointing."

"words of wisdom from yoongi oppa," i chuckle and get back to cleaning the tables.

"soo yeong ah~," hoseok oppa calls, "isn't your shift over already?"

"i'll just clean up these tables then get going." i holler looking over at the large glass windows, which gives the café an airy feel. it's dark outside and the lights from the shops across the street flicker brightly.

"don't leave too late, it's not safe at night." yoongi oppa adds.

i give a nod of understanding and quickly wipe the remaining tables clearing it of any unused cutlery, tissues and styrofoam cups.

once i'm done i fold up my apron and keep it behind the counter. i grab my school bag and blazer and gratefully accept the cupcakes which hobi decorated.

i pull out my purse to pay for treats but hoseok oppa refuses, "keep your money maknae, it's complimentary." i frown at him, he always doesn't let me pay. "i mean it." he presses.

i'm having none of his freebie mania's today, so i quickly place the cash on the counter and dash for the exit, "thank you yoongi and hoseok oppa's! you've worked hard today!"

"aish, that child." yoongi oppa mutters.

i enter my outhouse and it's pitch black. i can't see two centimetres in front of me so i quickly pull out my smartphone turning on the flash.

the junk's still here, that's great. i inch my way through it, thanks to jungkook's regular rummaging this place looks a little different everyday. i reach the light switch and flip it on. once i arrive at my bed i drop my bag over it while cautiousy placing the cupcakes onto my desk.

i quickly exit the outhouse and head toward the main house because there's still some chores left to do. i open up the sliding door and enter straight into the kitchen and it's spotless, seokjin oppa always keeps the kitchen clean. i walk over to the fridge and pull out the sticky note on it.

these are the type of sticky notes i hate; ones with tedious chores untidily written over them— it's such a contrast from the cute ones i get at school.

i sulk and make my way towards the living room where i have to dust all the furniture. it doesn't even look dusty at all because i cleaned them just the other day. i sigh but grab the duster nonetheless and i pull out my smartphone. i put on my favourite song by luhan; catch me when i fall.

i sway along to the tune with a little hum as i dust the funiture then eventually i make my way to the study room, then up the staircase and into the bedroom area's. in the guest bedroom i do a little neatening up by changing up the sheets and making sure that the bathroom essentials are all stocked up.

the next song, on fire by luhan, begins to play— it's incredulous how music can make doing chores alot less painful. i head toward the laundry room to load up the washer-dryer and lastly i add laundry detergent and close it shut. tomorrow morning i can just put away the clothes because it's getting late.

i head back down stairs, switching off my music and i step into the kitchen but i notice that the refridgerator door is ajar. i know there is someone behind that door but cannot see who it is so i freeze putting a hand over my mouth and decide to slowly back out of the room because it could be the dragon lady.

as i take another step bac the refrigerator door suddenly slams shut and my eyes along with other person's widens in shock.

"seokjin oppa..." i breathe in relief, seeing that he has a mouthful of food that's puffing out his cheeks and a half eaten burger in his hand.

"are you here for a snack?" he asks as i chuckle at how innocent he looks but suddenly my stomach rumbles.

i just realised i haven't eaten since lunch. how am i still alive?

"you haven't eaten yet!?" seokjin oppa approaches me and i shake my head, "i've kept your food in the oven, it should still be warm." i open up the oven to see a burger and some fries.

i smile at him, "thank you oppa," he returns the smile and ruffles my hair, "if it's not warm enough just microwave it, eating cold food is not healthy." he says before taking a bite out of his burger.

i remove my dinner from the oven and grab a bottled water from the refrigerator, "i haven't seen... you know... where is-"

"she went shopping today, apparently it tired her out so she's out cold in her bedroom." seokjin oppa interjects.

i mouth an oh, "the usual," seokjin oppa nods. "i'll see you tomorrow, it's getting late and i'm starving." i wave at him.

"good night and sleep warm." seokjin oppa says as he follows me to the sliding door. i exit and run across the lawn reaching my doorstep in a matter of seconds.

i turn to face the main house and seokjin oppa is waiting there with his gaze steadfast on my form. i give him a thumbs up and he retreats into the house after sending me a flying kiss.

shortly after the back lights go out and i quickly enter my outhouse scurrying to my bed. first i fill up my empty stomach with soekjin oppa's delicious cooking then i decide to finish up some of my homework.

as i complete the analysis of the season's poem, i feel my eyes become heavy and even more droopy. they constantly open and close and i struggle to stay focused, just jotting down whatever comes to my mind. eventually, my eyelids close and it doesn't open up again sending me off into a deep sleep.
