Normal POV

"Y/N, you are needed in the infirmary again." A Magikill caught up to you while you were walking out of a shop.

You sighed. "What is it this time? Someone got half petrified?" You asked sarcastically. The Magikill shook his head.

"No, we found one of our allies in the woods and he looks like he barely escaped a few Juggerknights." He replied.

You shrugged. "Eh whatever. Take me to this 'ally' so I could get this over with." You said as the Magikill led you to the infirmary.

You were a Meric who was studying the magic of healing for over 50 years. You were skilled in using the magic and most people often went to you if they were seriously injured.

The downside was that since you lived in a time of war, many people got injured. And this means many people come to you.

It was both stressful and something to be proud about. But at least you saw that you were helping out in this war.

You reached the infirmary and the Magikill went to introduce you to the 'ally'. He took you to a room and opened the door.

But you panicked because there was an Eclipsor-like person sitting on the bed. "WHY IN INAMORTA IS THERE AN ECLIPSOR HERE?" You yell at the Magikill.

"Don't worry. He's an ally." The Magikill replied. "His name is Viper." You look at 'Viper'. "Lord Viper." He muttered. The Magikill rolled his eyes.

"Anyways, I need to go and help Magis with a few things. Have fun you two." He said as he left the infirmary.

You look at Viper and he looked at you. You were wondering why Order would ever create an alliance with an Eclipsor.

"Im in this alliance because I hate Chaos." Viper suddenly said. You jolt in surprise. "How did you-" "I can read your mind, Y/N." He answered.

You shuddered and cleared your head before approaching him cautiously. You had enough experience to know that Eclipsors were not to be trusted.

"You don't need to be afraid. I won't hurt you." Viper said as he watched you come closer. You give him an unsure look.

"I don't even work for Chaos because Medusa banished me for not looking like a normal Eclipsor." He explained. "Thats why I allied with Order."

Part of you wanted to believe that he was lying but you looked at Viper closely. Unlike a normal Eclipsor, he had fangs and an amethyst quiver. His helmet also looked like a snake.

"Well I guess you're not lying. But just don't attack me while I tend to your injuries." You said as you sat beside him and did your magic.

You could imagine the Juggerknights attacking Viper and probably leaving him to die.

"That was not what happened." Viper said. "I ambushed a few Juggerknights and managed to poison and kill all of them but not without getting hurt."

"Wait, did you say poison?" You questioned. "Yeah, poison from my arrows and fangs." Viper replied. You nodded.

After a few minutes, Viper was restored to perfect health. He stood up and stretched a bit. "Well, better go back." He said. "Where?" You asked.

"As if I'll tell you." Viper looked at you and patted your head (because he's taller). You blush a bit before pushing his hand away.

"But thank you for the help, Y/N." Viper smiled as both of you walked out of the infirmary. When you were outside, Viper spread his wings and started hovering in the air.

"See you around Y/N!" He said as he flew away. You wave goodbye and soon start going home.

"That guy was... interesting." You thought to yourself. "If he were here, he'd read my mind right now." You chuckle and shrug off the thought.

"I really hope I see him again."
