Dead x Female Juggerknight Reader

Am I the only one suffering in the first night of Endless Deads? No? Just me?

Your POV

I watched as my challenger's body fell to the ground, dead. I smirked as I picked up my axe and slammed it against the remains of the guy's skull.

After that, I kicked away the dead body. The other Juggerknights watching me had an expression of fear and excitememt.

But soon their faces changed to a more victorious expression. They started cheering for me as I finished off the dead challenger.

I stomped on the chest of the corpse. It was already dead, but it felt more entertaining to kill it this way.

I was a high ranking Juggerknight. In our society, the strongest ones usually have more authority. In this case, its me.

I won every battle brought up to me. I killed anyone who dared to oppose me. I was the champion of the Juggerknights.

Of course, other Juggerknights could challenge me. Victory would mean earning a higher rank.

However, losing meant death. This was what happened to my most recent victim. It was a long and painful death.

But he's dead and gone now. So who cares? I marched off in my own direction, away from the Juggerknights who watched me in awe.

A few days later, I heard a knock on my door. I growled as I put on my helmet and open it.

Instead of a Juggerknight, there was an Eclipsor. "What do you want?" I demanded.

"Queen Medusa requests your presence." He replied. I nod. "Lead the way then." I said, knowing that I should never turn down a command from the queen.

I followed the Eclipsor to Medusa's castle. Every person looked at me because they knew who I was. Even the smartest Marrowkai turned their attention to me.

I liked being known for my ferocity. It means Im more superior than everyone.

After shoving a few Crawlers out of the way, we finally made it to the castle. I could hear the Eclipsor's wings slow down as he slightly shuddered.

When we were inside, almost all eyes were on me. I didn't care. I just walked on and ignored everyone.

I approached Medusa's throne without fear or hesitation. I bowed down before the Queen of Chaos.

"You called for me?" I asked as I stood up. Medusa nodded. "Yes. I heard about your reputation among the Juggerknights." She said.

I smirked. "Whatever you heard is true. I guess Im really well known." I replied proudly.

Medusa rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I called you because I thought you might be useful in spying on the Order Empire." She told me.

I scoffed. "You want me to spy? What do I get in return?" I questioned. "Any amount of money that you wish." Medusa answered.

I thought for a while. "Hmm, ok. As long as I get money in return." I replied. "So we have a deal?" The queen asked. I nod in reply.

"Good. You will spy on the Speartons since their strategies are complicated. We may stand a better chance once we know their actions." Medusa explained.

I nodded and started to leave. "By the way, will I be getting an assistant or something?" I asked.

"Yes. A Dead will accompany you." I literally froze at that statement. "Seriously? A Dead? Why couldn't you get a Bomber or a Marrowkai?" I questioned.

"Because Deads are expendable. Their lives don't matter." Medusa replied. "Now no more questions. Get to the Spearton territory as soon as you can."

I growl mentally but do what I was told. I knew better than to mess with Medusa.

Timeskip...

I reach the Spearton territory. The Dead with me. Yes, it was with me throughout my journey.

Good thing they don't complain. I ended up ranting to the Dead about how inconsiderate Medusa was when she assigned me an undead person to be my 'assistant'.

Besides, the Dead would never know. It can't think or feel. Its just a rotten corpse that found a way to live.

Right now, I was watching some Speartons train. I watched their moves and tactics to make sure I know them when we fight.

But I was disturbed by moaning sounds. I growl at the Dead who was making them. "Shut up! We're going to get caught, you dumb fool!" I said.

The Dead stared at me blankly. "Look man, its not my fault you can't feel anything." I tried to quiet him. "You Deads are just emotionless corpses."

Soon enough, the Dead went quiet. After a few minutes of silence, I decided to head back. But when I looked for that Dead, he was no longer in sight.

"Pffft. Probably wandered away." I said to myself as I pick up my axe and shield and get on my way.

After a while of walking, the Dead still didn't return. I tried looking for him but he left no trace of himself.

"I couldn't have hurt his feelings, could I?" I asked myself. "But he's a Dead. They can't understand anything-"

"DON'T MAKE ANY MOVEMENT!" I look to see a male Spearton jump out of nowhere. I scoff.

"Oh yeah? Or else what?" I taunt him. But then I heard other voices. "Chariot, whats going on-"

2 more Speartons appear. "Hey! Its a Juggerknight! What are you doing here?!" One of them questioned.

"None of your business. Now get out of my way!" I demanded. But the Speartons defended. "Do you really think we will just let you go?" 'Chariot' asked.

"If you're smart, then yes." I raised my axe and charged. The Speartons also charged at me.

Timeskip to after fighting...

I. Can't. Hold on. Much longer. This was a losing battle. I can't believe I was foolish enough to fight even if I was outnumbered.

I only killed one Spearton. The other 2 are pretty strong. I growl at them but it didn't scare them.

"Die, Juggerknight!" Chariot said as he charged at me with his spear raised. I guess this was it then. Finished off by a Spearton.

But then I heard a familiar moan. Out of nowhere, a gut hit Chariot before he could stab me.

"Whoa! Its a Dead!" The other Spearton exclaimed as he saw my Dead. The Dead just kept throwing its guts at the 2 Speartons.

While they were poisoned and stunned, I stood up and grabbed the Dead's hand. "Lets get out of here!" I said.

When we were far away, I panted before looking at the Dead. He seemed distracted. "Where have you been?" I demanded. No reply.

The Dead faces me and groaned. It sounded as if he was talking. "If there's something you want to tell me, speak up!" I glared.

The Dead stopped groaning and took out something from his hand. It was some sort of flower. He nudged it closer to me.

"Whats this for?" I asked as I accepted the flower. It looked a bit withered, but its colors were still intact.

The Dead moaned a bit. Then it hit me. Did he actually understand what I said a while ago?

"Wait, you understood what I said?" I asked the Dead. He nodded. I froze. For once in my life, I felt guilty.

"Oh, uhh, sorry then." I apologized. The Dead didn't look at me. He just continued walking.

I followed him. "Really, Im sorry. I shouldn't have called you dumb and emotionless. Please forgize me." I tried to apologize.

The Dead finally looked at me. He seemed to be... smiling?

It was on this day that I decided to be kinder to Deads. Especially this guy (who I named Axl).
