Your p.o.v

The stupid Crystal Gems are trying to get me to join them just because "I am a good fighter." I'm an Emerald. But everyone in Beach City just calls me (Y/n). I like having a human name better. Because 'Emerald' is the name Homeworld gave to me. Well, my Homeworld name is more like 'Emerald 5008' there were a lot of Emeralds. I live with a human in Beach City. Well, it's Sadie. Everyone knows her. She found my gem at the beach and thought 'Wow, this looks really pretty! I'm going to keep it at the Big Donut.' Then the next day I regenerated and scared the crap out of Lars. Then I punched him for flirting with me. It was fun times. Then I soon met Steven and the Crystal Gems. They were shocked that me, such a "high class gem" survived and was living in the Big Donut. They must have been gone for a long time 'cause Emeralds aren't so high class anymore. And I'm not living at the Big Donut anymore. They all tried talking to me but I just ignored them or gave them sass back. The last thing I wanted was to get tied up in some gem drama. I became decent friends with Steven and I can tolerate Amethyst. Pearl just always nags me and Garnet never really talks to me. Okay, but back to all the shit that is the Crystal Gems and then trying to get me to join. First it was breaking into Sadie's house and grabbing me. Then it was tricking me into thinking that there was a monster so they could kidnap me. Third time was just talking to me. And the fourth, well that's what is going on now. Right now Amethyst and Steven brought me to this farm. "Listen Em- I mean (Y/n), I know you don't want to join us but there is a monster called the cluster that will attack us at any moment. We need your help to destroy it." Steven said. For once in his life he sounded serious. "I'm still not convinced." "Steven we should just give up. She's not going to join us." There was a little hurt in Amethyst's voice. "No. I will get her to join us!" Steven said with determination. "Please (Y/n). You are our last hope. You know Homeworld the best and you are a great fighter. Please?" Steven eyes started twinkling. "Ugh I can't believe I'm saying this. Fine. Ok I'll join the Crystal Gems." Steven jumped up and hugged me. "Ah get off of me!" I tried to pull Steven off but it didn't work. "Alright Steven that's enough." Amethyst tried helping me get him off. "Ok." Once Steven was off of me, we made our way back to Beach City. "Now you get your own room at the temple! It's going to be so great!" "Ugh what am I going to tell Sadie?!" "Don't worry Em. You can break it to her some how." Amethyst leaned up against me with her elbow. "One, don't call me 'Em' it's (Y/n). Two, get off of me!" I moved do that Amethyst couldn't lean on my anymore. "Wow calm down." Amethyst said. I could tell she want to happy with me. "Aw come on. You two are going to be living together so try to get along." Steven said while hugging both of us. I just roll my eyes at him. 'This was a mistake.'

We finally got to the temple after I broke the news to Sadie. Let's just say, she wasn't to pleased. "Ah Emerald! What are you doing here?!" Pearl says with joy. "I guess I'm part of the Crystal Gems now..." I say with disgust. "Really? That's great." Garnet says while walking up to me. She puts a hand on my shoulder and her hand starts to glow. My pain black t-shirt now has tiny, white stars everywhere. "What the hell...?" I say in shock. The shirt didn't look terrible but it wasn't my favourite thing ever. "You are an official part of the Crystal Gems." Garnet leaned down and kissed my forehead. I saw stuff from the future. Battles, gems, death... But the thing was, I was in all of it. "W-what was that?!" I say with amazement. "The future with you. You just changed the fate of earth." Garnet smiles at me. "That's cool..." Suddenly, I feel something crash into me. "Hey watch it!" I say, breaking out of my good mood. "Woah chill. I just want to show you your new roooooooooooom!" Amethyst points to a door with a star and in the middle of that star, a green gem popped up. "Come on let's goooooooooooo!" Amethyst dragged me into the new room that just appeared. It was just a green room though. Nothing cool about it. Just dark green. "Boo! What is this?!" I roll my eyes at Amethyst. "You should at least have a bed." Amethyst said as she sat on the floor. "Room, bed please." I say and a bed pops up right behind me. "Solid holograms. Like our body's." I say. "Dude how did you know that would work?!" Amethyst jumped on the bed. "I just, guessed." I leaned back onto the bed and so did Amethyst. "Get off of my be-" "why do you hate us?" I look over at Amethyst, who is now sitting up and looking down with her hair covering her eyes. "What?" I sit up. "Why do you hate the Crystal Gems?" "To be honest... I don't. Pearl isn't my favourite person in the world, Garnet is ok, but you and Steven are the coolest." I look over at Amethyst who has a light purple blush on her cheeks. "Really?" "Hell yeah." Amethyst smiled at me. "Trust me. I'll make you be happy you joined the Crystal Gems." Amethyst pinned me against the bed, her over top of me and me panicking. "W-what?!" Amethyst leaned in and just kissed my nose. "We'll do this later (Y/n)." Amethyst winked at me and I felt a blush rise to my cheeks.
