It has been two weeks since Blue Diamond attacked Beach City. It had scared most of the small town, and the other half... Let's just say they were pretty trilled. I don't know why, they just were. But of course, the Crystal Gems came to save to day. It was shocking but, they poofed Blue Diamond and the rest of her army. 4 gems, and Peridot, but she just stood around in fear, poofed over 70 gems and a diamond. Except for one small gem. Her name was Blue Pearl. Well that's what we all call her. I'm friends with the Crystal Gems so I got to meet her. And can I say she is adorable. Blue Pearl is all shy and nervous. So when "her diamond" was proofed and bubbled, she was panicking a whole lot. But it has been one week since Blue Pearl moved in with me. Pearl said something about "She needs to get used to Humans. And we trust you" I don't even know. Blue Pearl hasn't done a lot. She just cleans the house and doesn't say anything but "Yes Human." When I ask if she is ok with all of this work. "Blue Pearl, I already told you, you don't have to clean the house all the time. And please just call me (Y/n) it's ok." I say. I had just made some sushi, and I had been trying to get Blue Pearl to eat it. "I'm sorry, human. But I still mustn't disappoint Blue Diamond." Wow, that was the longest thing she has ever said to me. "Blue Diamond isn't coming back anytime soon. So just relax. It's fine." I grab her hand and pull her onto a chair. For a Pearl from Homeworld, she is fine with humans. I thought she would be like Peridot when I first met her. "I-I can't." Even with her nice blue hair covering her cheeks, I could still see a blush on Blue Pearls cheeks. "Why are you always so...worky? You always are cleaning and you never say anything." Blue Pearl was silent. "It's because my diamond was very strict. If I ever did something wrong, she would crush my physical form. My gem was never cracked but it hurt." She touched her beautiful blue gem on her chest. "I have worked for Blue Diamond for over 5000 years. I have gotten use to the pain and have perfected myself so I will never make a mistake again." I took her hand in both of mine and looked where her eyes would be. "You don't have to be perfect. Blue Diamond will probably not come back for another 100 plus years. But if she does return, I will protect you." I pulled Blue Pearl into a hug and I could tell she didn't know what to do at all. "W-what is this human?" "This is a hug. You wrap your arms around someone like this. And you just kind of...sit there." I try to explain hugging to the blue gem. It's doesn't work to well. "What is the point to "a hug"?" I laugh. "To show someone that you love them." The Pearl tilted her head in confusion. "Love? Explain please." "Well...love is when you feel close to a person. You want to spend a lot of time with them and you get this weird feeling." I see Blue Pearl smile for the first time. It was quite cute. "I think I am "in love" with someone." I bet it's Blue Diamond. "Really?! Who is it?!" Even if I knew it wasn't me, I got excited. "Um..." Blue Pearl looked to the ground. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I was just wondering." It hurt me a little that you know, this cute Homeworld gem doesn't like me, but whatever. "Uh... Hum- I mean (Y/n)..." I perk up at her saying my name and not but "human". "Yeah... What is it." I say a little nervously. In the two weeks that I have known Blue Pearl, she has never been like this. "I-I think I love...you..." Hehe great, know my life sounds like some cheesy fanfic. "Really...?" A small smile tugs at my lips. Blue Pearl just nods her head furiously. "Well that's great. Cause I love you too." I move closer to her and move the hair from her eyes. I see beautiful blue eyes. Kind of what Pearls look like but they have more shine. "Please no..." Blue Pearl try's pulling away so I wouldn't see her eyes but I stop her. "Why?" I keep her hair away from her eyes. "Blue Diamond says I have hideous eyes." She tried to avoid eye contact with me. "Well I think you have beautiful eyes. Who cares what she thinks?!" I grab her waist and pull her in close. I slowly lean in closer and closer to her lips. "W-what is this?" Blue Pearl starts panicking. "It's called a kiss. Just go with it." I finally close the gap and our lips connect. It was a little awkward at first because I didn't want to be stabbed by her nose, but I figured something out. After a couple seconds, it seams that Blue Pearl caught on because she started to kiss back. I felt butterflies in my stomach. It was the best feeling ever. But soon, she pulled away, even though gems don't need air and I could continue. "So how'd you like that?" Blue Pearl looks at me with stars in her eyes. "I loved that..." She wrapped her arms around my neck for a hug but quickly pulled away. "I-I'm sorry!" Her hole face was a dark shade of blue. "It's ok." I pull her close, and completely forget about the sushi I made. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I say with my face in the crook of my neck. "What does that mean?" "It means that we get to do stuff like this a lot. And I get to call you mine~" I feel the heat from her neck so I could tell she was blushing a lot. "So will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes my human, I will."
