Your p.o.v

"Get back here you two!" Pearl yelled as Amethyst and I ran out of the temple. You see, today was the legendary prank war day that Amethyst and I have planned for over a month. I moved to beach city about 2 months ago. It all started at a park. I am probably one of the most childish people anyone will ever meet. As a result, I visit the park in Beach City often. Maybe a little too often for someone old enough to drive. But, everything does come with a silver lining. Because one day, I met the greatest being ever. Amethyst. You know, normal meetings. I was on a swing. She launched herself up in the air and ended up destroying a slide. We bonded almost immediately. She was a laid back gem. I was a childish human. It was truly meant to be. But, like every cheesy story goes, I ended up falling in love with Amethyst and her ways. I just couldn't help it though. Her smile, her hair, her sense of humour that makes anyone laugh. It was all so amazing. "(Y/n) dude this way!" Grabbing my hand, Amethyst drags me down near some rock on the beach. The perfect hiding spot from Pearl. "This place is perfect for hiding." I grin at the purple gem. "Well, if we're hiding from Pearl, I guess it's Pearl-fect." Amethyst starts laughing at her own bad pun. "Dude you suck!" Punching her shoulder lightly, I giggle at her terrible, terrible sense of humour. "Heh, I think she's gone. Let's goooo." Again, Amethyst grabs my hand and drags me somewhere. "Where we goin' this time Ame?" Every time I call Amethyst by her little nick name, she blushes a little. I don't know why, but it just adds to her cuteness. "Well, wanna see where I came from?" Amethyst asks me. "Oh? So you didn't come from space?" I ask while tilting my head. "Nope. So, do you wanna see it?" Amethyst looked a little scared. I don't know why. Maybe she is scared about my potential negative reaction to where she came from? Oh well. "Yup let's go!" Amethyst's face lights up. Grabbing my hand, for the third time in 10 minutes, Amethyst ran over to the temple and too the warp pad. "You sure you wanna do this?" Amethyst says, unsure. I just nod. What's the worst that could happen?

Drills. Drills and holes and darkness. "A-Ame, this is where you came from?" It was scary. I got shivers just looking at all the holes. "Yeah. It's a long story but, let's just say, some gems from space started this place to make soldiers. And me, well I'm defective..." Kicking a rock, Amethyst look down at the ground. "But hey, that's my hole!" Running over to the hole closest to the ground, Amethyst slips into the hole perfectly. Peaking into it, I see Amethyst with a smile on her face. But also with tears in her eyes. "Can I come in?" All Amethyst does is nods. "Hey, what's wrong?" I ask. "It's just, I'm always judged and made fun of for being the defective one. I hate it..." With tears rolling down her cheeks, Amethyst turned away from me. "Well, you shouldn't let that get you down. You have so many other good qualities. Like, you can make anyone laugh with your terrible jokes. Or how good you are at fighting. Or how cute you are." I had sort of mumbled the last part, hoping that she wouldn't hear. "Hm? You think I'm cute?" Dammit. "O-oh...u-uh I mean... Ugh dammit. Yeah I do." I expected rejection but, instead Amethyst laughed. "Dude I think you're pretty cute too." I'm pretty sure my whole face was red. "Come on, let's go hang around this place. There's some pretty fun stuff to do here." Giggling, Amethyst pushed me out of the hole and ran off. "GET BACK HERE." I quickly ran after her. This was gonna be good.

Climbing up the walls.
At first I was scared. Scratch that, I'm scared. But at the same time, I'm excited. So, the goal was to climb up the walls, using the holes and rocks sticking out to grab on to. Praying I don't fall. "Ready?!" I yell. "Ready." And with that, we were off. Amethyst had used her shape shifting powers to get a head start, so I just went faster. "God dammit Amethyst stop that! That's cheating." I say while pouting. "Nope!" Amethyst continued. "Fine." I grumbled under my breath. I went as fast as I could until I caught up with her. "That's right baby, I almost w-" I slipped. "Shit." I tried to grab onto a rock but it was no use. "(Y/n)!" I hear Amethyst yell. Then suddenly, I feel an arm wrap around my waist. It seams that Amethyst used her stretchy powers to grab me so y'know, I wouldn't die. I was lowered down, with Amethyst following soon after. "Heh thanks. I really owe ya one." Amethyst rubs the back of her neck and nervously laughs. "It's no problem." There was an awkward silence until Amethyst suggested something else.

Sliding down a pile of rocks. On Amethyst's back. What could go wrong? "Ready for take off?" I say. "Oh yes. Get ready in three...two...one." And with that, Amethyst leaned forward and we went down the giant hill of rocks. "This may not end well." I say but it came out a little bumpy from the roughness of the rocks. "Don't sweat it." As soon as Amethyst said that, we went up a giant rock ramp and were basically flying. "This is amazing!" We both yelled at the same time. And for the rest of the way down, I was giggling like a little kid. "Again again again!" I shouted. "Noooo come on its getting late. Let's go home." With a pouty face I nodded and walked to the warp pad. "Well you'll have to catch me first~!" I run off, but not before giving Amethyst a quick peck on the lips.
