Steven smiled as he ran over to the ocean to get some more water, then running back, and dumping it upon the castle, smiling me spoke;

"thanks for helping me with this guy's!" He said innocently, "no problem Steven" Garner said in a smile, pearl was over in the sand making an over complex plan on how to make a simple sand castle, and she nodded a "yes" to Stevens earlier comment.

"I'll get more water!" He jumped up and ran over to the bay, and scooped up water, but when he looked down, Steven saw a faint green shine,

The boy picked it up, and flipped it around. Finding a deep crack on the side he ran over to Garnet.

"Garnet?" he asked, and she looked up, "yes Steven?" Garnet answered, "I found something" Steven held his hands out, showing her the green gem, with a crack down its side, Garnets eyes widened, and she soon unfused, and became Ruby and Sapphire once again,

It was like Sapphire hadn't even seen this future.

this caught pearls attention, and she walked over, "w- what is it?" Steven said looking confused and slightly scared. Ruby ran over and said wide eyes "Sapphire! Is that..? Who I think it is?" She looked back, Sapphire in tears, Ruby took it as a yes.

"umm... guys?" Steven said looking around worried.

"Steven where did you find this?" Pearl asked in shock, "in the water, why?" his innocents washing out like waves.

"That is... it cant be... i saw her..." Pearl started 

"she was... we thought..." Sapphire interrupted, 

"we thought she was shattered" Ruby finished,

"You see Steven, we fought with her, in the war," Pearl said with her teacher like voice, "she would fuse, and unfuse with Garnet to pull off amazing fetes"

"But then we got separated" Ruby looked down, "and the last I saw of her, what when..." Sapphire hugged Ruby, "when a Jasper solider stabbed her gem, and it fell, of a cliff, into the river..."

Steven looked down, "but she's okay now, right?" His voice sad, pearl sighed, "your mother's healing tears could fix it..."

"I CAN HEAL!" Steven yelled with a smile, licking his hand, and smacking it upon the gem, it sparkled, and the crack disappeared, Ruby and Sapphire took it,

"Thanks you Steven!" and the two said running up to the house,

"pearl, did Ruby and Sapphire know her? how did they know each other?" Steven asked, Pearl smiled, with the years rolling in her mind, a tear forming and she whipped it away, and answer "she's... will be the last of her kind... they shattered the rest"

Steven looked confused, "why?" She looked down, "because every gen had a job, hers was assassin's" she sighed, "and they were planning to shatter the Dimends"

"What?! Really?! what kind of gem was she?!" Steven asked in shock.

Pearl sighed, and looked down to him, right before she left to go up to the house, she said only four works.
