Your POV

You were currently cooped up in the S.H.E.I.L.D compound base and you were bored out of your mind. You had been working with and training with them for a while. You had even been in training with some of the Avengers. You felt ready to go out with them on a mission. You had tried to speak to Nat and Clint about your request and they said they would speak to the others about it and let you know what they think. Suddenly something had popped into your mind, you knew that they all sat down to talk late at night on their own before they left to go back to their homes. You decided to take this as your chance to do some snooping of your own. You quietly and easily slipped up into the vent and quietly crawled threw until you were sure you were at your correct location. You soon heard their familiar voices, you stayed up in the vent, out of sight from everyone and decided to listen in, hoping you hadn't missed Clint or Nat asking them about your request. 

"So how is Y/N coming along in training ?" Steve asked

"Yeah great, she's still eager to come out on a mission with us though" Clint replied

"Out of the question, she's not ready for what we have to face and battle with out there in that world" Tony said sternly.

You felt crushed and shocked that he could think that of you after all the times you had helped him and Bruce in the lab. 

"Should we take votes on this matter ?" Thor asked

"I agree with Tony, it's too dangerous for her" Steve agreed. 

"Guess we don't need to take votes on it then, it's clear she's not ready" Tony stated.

You tried your best not to cry and quietly made your way back to your room. Once in your room, you tried to think of what you could do as your next move. You were upset but also felt very angry. You grabbed your nearest hoodie and headed out, deciding it would be best to get some air and think up of your plan. On your way out, you hadn't noticed the other's. 

"Hey Y/N where you off too ?" Clint asked trying to sound happy

"Out" You replied without even stopping to talk or look at them. 

"Is she okay ?" Bruce asked confused

"She seemed very angry" Thor pointed out

"She is female maybe she's on her period or something" Tony said shrugging them off.

You found a quiet spot by  the river and sat by it thinking of what you could do as your next move to prove them all wrong. They didn't think you were ready but you were ready to prove them all wrong. The water and quiet helped you to think up your plan. 

-Next Day-

Steve and Clint had met up and made their way to the training room. When they reached the training room, they were confused as it was in complete darkness.

"This is strange, why aren't the lights on ?" Steve asked

"I don't know, I thought there would be training on" Clint replied.

The two men walked into the room and looked around. 

"Okay not only is this room dark, it's also very quiet. I don't like it" Clint said

"I agree, let's go-" Steve begins but gets cut off. 

An arrow was fired and had just missed them both. 

"The hell" Clint asked confused

"Hit the lights !" Steve shouted

Clint ran over to the lights and switched them on. Both Clint and Steve looked up and around the top of the room for the intruder. 

"Are we under some kind of attack ?" Clint asked

"I have no idea" Steve replied

Steve had looked around again but saw a figure wearing black and ran over towards it not knowing that it was you. 

"Show yourself" Steve demanded

You removed your hoodie to reveal yourself to them. 

"Y/N ?" Steve asked confused

You didn't say anything, you just walked towards him and began your fighting like what you would normally do in training but you weren't in training. 

"Y/N what are you doing ?" Steve asked confused as he tries to defend himself from your attack.

"Hang on Cap, I'll go get some help" Clint called before he ran off. 

During your attack, you had managed to land several hits on Steve but he barely hit you back.

Soon enough, Clint had returned back with the others, who all stood by the door, watching you in shock. 

"Is she in training ?" Nat asked confused

"I don't think so, she shot an arrow at us in the dark then came out of no where and started all this" Clint answered as he gestured towards you

"Thor has Loki escaped ?" Bruce asked 

"No, not to my knowledge, why do you ask ?" Thor answered

"I don't know, I know Y/N and this isn't her, she seems.....different" Bruce replied

"Okay there kiddo, we've all enjoyed your little show but training is-" Tony begins but gets cut off when you start fighting him. It was a lot easier for you since he didn't have his suit on. 

"I'm not going over there" Bruce stated to the others

"What is she trying to prove to us by doing this ?" Nat asked confused

A short while later, after you defeated both Tony and Steve, you walked off not even bothering to say anything to the others and coincidentally, none of them had tried to stop you from leaving. They were all shocked at you. 

"Thanks for the help" Tony groaned to the others. 

You made your way to your quiet, safe place and cleaned up. Once you were ready, you made your way to your next destination. 

"You took down the Captain and Mr Stark well agent Y/L/N" Fury said as he watched the video of you from earlier. 

"Thank you Sir. I know they don't think I'm ready to go out on one of their missions so I am requesting you to send me out on a mission of my own with a completely different team" You told him

"Agent" Fury began but you cut him off

"You've seen me in training for yourself, you've just seen me take down two of the Avengers. I don't ask for anything unless I'm sure I'm ready and I know Tony and the others ask you to keep my name off for selection for upcoming missions" You point out

"Do you know what trouble I will be in with them if I send you out there ?" Fury tried to protest

"You'll be in even bigger trouble then because I will take this matter higher up to someone on the board" You threaten

Fury gives in and agrees to send you out on a mission which would last a few days. He had a team together but you were to be in charge of everything. He told you he wanted some prisoners back if possible. You smiled and agreed before walking out of his office.

Steve POV 

I was making my way to Y/N's room. I had given her a few days to cool down after what had happened in the training room. Tony was still mad as hell at her, I was still mad but also confused, some of the others were even scared of her. None of us had ever seen her act out like that before. To us, she was always happy, warm, friendly, smiling the list was endless. I stopped outside her door and took a second before I knocked. 

I waited a few minutes but there was no answer. I decided to knock again but still there was no answer from her. 

"Y/N, are you in there ?" I called and waited but got no response.

"Hey Cap, we've all been called into Fury's office ASAP" Nat said threw the earpiece we used to communicate.

I sighed and moved away from where I was standing and made my way towards Fury's office. Strange that he'd summoned us all, there was no mention of a new mission. I got there in no time at all, seeing the other's already there. 

"Sorry I went to Y/N's room to try and talk to her" I explained

"What did she have to say for herself ?" Tony asked in a sharp tone

"She didn't answer" I told him honestly

"She's probably still sulking or in whatever mood she was in but she'd better snap out of it soon or I'll-" Tony began to rant on but Fury cut him off

"Agent Y/L/N is out on a mission, she has been for a few days now" Fury cut in

"Tell me your kidding ?!" I asked shocked

"You sent that kid out there, in that angry mood ?" Tony asked stunned

"She was mad with all of you because she heard what you all said about her not being ready and she knows you keep her name out of any upcoming missions. Now you told her she wasn't ready for any of your missions so I sent her out on a different type of mission, with a team....which she is in charge of" Fury told us

"Your telling me I got my ass kicked off that kid because she heard what we all said ?!" Tony shouted

"She took me down as well" I pointed out

"Yeah and I got missed with that arrow" Clint butted in

"Well we'll just have to see how she does on this mission and you will all have to figure out how your going to make it up to her for all your hurtful words" Fury stated

We all left Fury's office and made our way to Y/N's room. Tony had managed to get us in (technically he broke us in). We all looked around her room for any kind of clue as to where she was but there was nothing. 

"What kind of strange device is this ?" Thor asked holding up Y/N's phone.

"She went off without her phone, what if she gets into trouble or needs to call one of us to go save her ?" Tony asked

We were all walking to the main bit of the compound when a S.H.E.I.L.D vehicle pulled up. We all watched as everyone jumped off, most of the people were men. There was also a prisoner captured and in handcuffs. The last person to jump off, was female. Y/N to be exact. She walked over to the captured prisoner when one of the guys from her team whispered something to her. She looked over towards us. She just sort of glared, there was no kind of expression shown on her face. She just shook her head and walked off with her now captured prisoner towards the S.H.E.I.L.D prison. 

"We need to talk to her and get things sorted out and I have just the plan" Tony said catching all our attention. 

Your POV

You had just taken your prisoner to the prison and got him checked in there with the S.H.E.I.L.D officers there. You signed all the paperwork you had too then decided to head back into the base. A nice hot relaxing bath sound and felt great about now after your rough few days away. You mission hadn't lasted as long as planned. You knew the other's were probably gonna be mad as hell with you for going out on your own mission and also for the attack you pulled on Steve and Tony. 

You were taking the quiet way back to your room, the corridors and stairs that no one ever used. Most of the others always used the elevators but you didn't want to risk running into any of the others just yet. As you were making your way upstairs, one of the other doors either opened or closed but you didn't hear anyone there. You turned around and took a quick glance but there was no sign of anyone or any kind of movement. Suddenly someone had picked you up and you were thrown over someone's shoulder. 

"Put me down!" You protested

"I am sorry Lady Y/N but Mr Stark has requested me to come and get you for him" Thor said

"Lady ? We both know she's no lady after what we saw in that training room" Clint chirped in

You look up to see Clint walking behind you with a smile on his face. 

"Not so tough without your arrows to shoot are you ?" Clint teased you

This only caused you to get angry and you tried to make a grab for him but Thor only held you tighter on his shoulder.

Thor's action only caused Clint to find the whole situation even more funny. 

"PUT ME DOWN NOW !" You kept protesting.

You only kept shouting, screaming and kicking until Thor and Clint had taken you into a room where the others were all waiting. 

"So it's a kicking and screaming match I see" Tony stated the obvious

Once Thor had put you down on a seat, you quickly tried to get up but Steve managed to stop you by wrapping his arms around you. 

"Not so fast there kiddo" Tony said in a teasingly voice

"Unless you want a round 2 of me kicking your ass, you'll let me go" 

"Lady Y/N" Thor said shocked

"Language" Steve scolded you 

"Look Y/N, why don't you just calm down, take a few minutes to relax. Would you like a drink ?" Bruce offered.

"I'm fine, I just want to go to my room and have a shower then get into my own bed" You answer

"Your own bed or one of those guys beds that you went out off on your mission with ?" Steve asked

"Careful there Cap, you almost sound jealous" You hit back, catching Steve off guard

"Okay look Y/N, you are the youngest member of this group. We all love and adore you and appreciate everything you do for us, we know you work hard in your training but our main concern is that if we do take you out on one of our missions with us, you could end up captured, hurt, in serious danger or worse" Nat tries to explain to you

"If you were in charge of a bunch of kids, you'd be making the same decision that we are" Tony pointed out

"Now the guys are prepared to forget all about you beating them down in the training room, if you agree to calm down and promise us never to do it again" Nat added

"What ? I didn't agree" Tony tried to say but Nat shot him a warning glare

He eventually gave up even though he still wasn't happy.

"We are all sorry for what you heard us say and we get how that must have sounded to you. But it wasn't meant to sound the way it did" Clint told you.

"What do you say ?" Nat asked suddenly all eyes in the room were now focused on you.

"I'll calm down and promise not to beat anyone else up like that again" You say.

"Good, we're glad to have all that sorted out, now we know your tired and exhausted from your trip so we'll let you get some rest and talk later" Nat smiled

"Don't even think about trying the blackmail thing with Fury again" Tony warned you

----------------------------------------------

You had only just managed to make it into your room and plopped yourself down on your bed, enjoying the comfort it brought you that you had missed. You closed your eyes letting sleep take over you.

"What the hell was that about back there ?" Steve asked causing you to snap back awake.

You groan as you look up at him. 

"Urgh what is it now ? Can't I even get some sleep first ?" You groan and you snuggle back into your pillow. 

You hear your door being locked but you can still sense Steve in the room. This is proven when you feel the other side of your double bed dip. 

"Back there, in the room, when you mentioned about me being jealous, what was that all about ?" Steve asked

"Not now Steve, I'm tired" You practically plead

Suddenly Steve moves so he is on top of you and pins your arms above your head easily with one of his strong arms. You open your eyes only to be met with Steve's blue ones. Before you can even say anything, Steve slams his lips on yours and kisses you deeply and passionately. 

"I don't think you get out of this that easily after what you did and the things that have come out of this mouth of yours" Steve says 

You look at Steve before feeling your sleep beginning to take over and you pass out on him. As good looking and hot as you thought Steve was, you knew you couldn't stay awake any longer than you already had.
