Your POV

From the moment you woke up, you knew you had a busy day ahead of you. You were going to a movie premier with your husband of two and a half years, Chris. You had your dress ready, it was upstairs somewhere safe that you had chosen to hide it from Chris, the only reason you had hid it was because you want it to be a surprise when Chris sees it on you when your ready properly. Chris was already awake but he was downstairs with your 14 month old son. You loved seeing Chris with your young son, he was such an amazing father, he really loved his little family. You made your way downstairs but all you could hear was Chris talking to your son and your son giggling at his daddy. You knew how much Chris had always wanted his own family, of course you also knew that when your son was a little older, Chris wanted to try again for another baby. You had both decided on the name Noah. 

"Good morning, how are my two boys this morning ?" You ask walking into the room.

"Hey Noah look, there's mummy (mommy)" Chris said to Noah, of course this only caused Noah to squeal in pure happiness.

You smiled and joined them both on the sofa. 

"Good morning beautiful, did you sleep well last night ?" Chris asked you

"I did, especially since I was in your strong protective arms" You answered smiling at Chris

"We best get this little guy ready to go to my mum's she'll be here to collect him soon" Chris said

His mum had offered to take Noah for the whole day and keep him over night so you and Chris could attend the movie premier together and then have some together time after when you came home. You were really grateful to Chris' mum always being there and offering to help with Noah. After Noah was born, she let you and Chris have sometime together with Noah so you could both bond and learn how do look after him, as Noah got a little older after a few weeks, she had taken him during the day so you could catch some sleep while Chris was at work. You knew your son was safe with her. It also helped that you and her got on really well, you got on well with all of Chris' family and friends. 

"You want to have breakfast then start getting ready while we wait for my mum ?" Chris offered.

"Yeah sure, I'll go cook us something" You smiled before getting up and headed to the kitchen. 

The one thing you did know that you would have to make is a pancake for Noah, he's loved them ever since you and Chris had decided to try him with a little piece of one. 

It was after breakfast when you were in the middle of getting ready when Chris' mum arrived to pick up Noah. You had showered, done your hair and make up but you still hadn't put on your dress yet. 

"You okay there Y/N ? Do you need any help with anything ?" Chris' mum offered you. 

"Would you mind helping me get my dress on quickly ?" You ask

"Of course sweetheart, Chris watch Noah for a few moments while I help Y/N get ready" Chris' mum instructs him.

Chris agrees but doesn't say anything more as he's busy getting ready himself. He was going to be wearing a suit, which you couldn't wait for as you absolutely loved seeing Chris in a suit. 

You made your way upstairs and into yours and Chris' shared bedroom. You had it all to yourself now that Chris had already gotten ready. 

"So were is your dress ?" Chris' mum asked you.

"Right here" You say carefully taking the dress out of your walk in closet. You had managed to hid it pretty well from Chris. Once you had gotten the dress out the closet, you held it up beside you for her to see. 

"Oh my Y/N what a beautiful dress" Chris' mum said speechless as she looked at and studied your dress.

"Thank you but do you think it's okay for tonight ?" You ask a little uncertain

"It's absolutely perfect for tonight, come on I'll help you get ready" She says smiling at you as her way of encouraging you. 

You quickly changed and put the dress on noticing that you didn't have much time until the limo would be here to pick you up. 

"What about the critics ?" You ask suddenly nervous.

"Forget them, they don't matter" She tells you. She helps you get ready and fixes your hair. You really hated wearing heels but tonight was a one off. You had found the perfect pair to match your dress. 

Once you were ready, Chris' mum left you and went back downstairs to collect Noah and head back home. You followed not long after her but stopped at the top of the stairs when you heard her talking to Chris. 

"She is going to take your breath away. Her dress is absolutely beautiful" You heard her tell Chris

"Okay, and thanks again for having Noah tonight for us mum" Chris said as he helped his mum to the door and saw her off. 

You quickly moved away from the top of the stairs so Chris wouldn't see you when he turned around to walk back. Once you heard the door close, Chris called up to you.

"Y/N darling are you ready ? Our limo will be here soon to pick us up" Chris called up to you.

You didn't answer him, after taking a quick moment to yourself, you walked back to the top of the stairs and looked down at Chris. You swear his eyes almost popped out of their sockets and his mouth dropped as he saw you.

"Do I look okay Cap ?" You ask him with a small smile.

"You look absolutely breath taking" Chris said as you made your way down the stairs to join him at the bottom. 

You blush shyly, even after being with Chris for as long as you have and married for two and a half years, he still has this effect on you to make you blush. 

Soon your limo arrives and picks you up. You make your way to the movie premier. You hold Chris' hand in the car. 

"Your nervous aren't you ?" Chris asks but of course he already noticed this.

You just nod in response to his question

"Don't be, you have no reason to be nervous, you look stunning" Chris tells you.

No matter what the situation, Chris always managed to find the right words to help calm you down. 

"I may need you to help me walk in these heels" You say

"I would be glad to help you, I'll even carry you bridal style if you want" Chris said but you knew he was serious. 

You soon arrived at the building where the premier was being held. Out side the building, where the limo pulled up there was a red carpet out for all the celebrities attending. There were also a lot of photographers and journalists. 

"Hey, everything is gonna be fine" Chris says reassuring you one last time. 

You nod in response. Chris tells you to wait a minute while he gets out the limo. Once out, Chris walks around your side and let's the limo driver open your door but Chris helps you out. 

You and Chris smile and pose for some pictures and talk to some of the fans waiting outside. Chris was currently talking to someone but you wanted a quick moment to yourself so you went inside the building. Once inside, you quickly checked your phone to see if Chris' mum had messaged you about Noah but you had no new messages. 

"Y/N, there you are" Chris says as he comes into the building.

"Sorry, I just needed a quick moment to myself" You say

"To check your phone ?" Chris asks as he spots your phone

"Sorry I was just checking to see if your mum had messaged anything about Noah" You reply

"Hey, Noah is in safe hands with my mum, she has watched him before for us loads of times, she loves him and Noah loves her" Chris reassures you

"I know, it's just my mother instincts" you tell him

"I know you would rather be at home with him but we do need time to ourselves as well, something we don't get too much off" Chris says as he put his finger under your chin and tilts your head up so your eyes meet.

You put your phone away and tried your best not to worry too much about Noah. You talked with a few of the other celebs there before being called  the viewing room where you would watch the new movie. After the movie, there was a party. You and Chris had gone along to it and had a few drinks and some fun. You weren't a heavy drinker so you didn't get too drunk or tipsy. Chris had drunken a few beers while talking to a group of his friends. After spending a few hours at the party, you were feeling tired and Chris could see this. He said his goodbyes before leading you out to your waiting limo. 

"Did you have fun tonight ?" Chris asked you

"I did, I mean of course I still worried a little about Noah, but yes it was fun" You smiled

"What did you think of the movie ?" Chris asked

"It was amazing, you were awesome in it, I think all the fans are really going to love it" You answer him. 

You had fallen asleep on the way home, your head resting on Chris' shoulder.

"Y/N, wake up babe we're home now" Chris said trying his best to wake you up gently.

You woke up and Chris helped you out of the limo. Once inside your house, Chris had helped you get ready for bed. It didn't bother him helping you when he saw how tired you were. 

"I wish Noah was a little bit older" Chris says

"Why ?" You ask him confused.

"So we could try for baby Evans two" Chris answers with a cheeky grin

"Maybe when Noah is about 2 and a half or three we can try again" You tell him.

Chris gets into bed and cuddles you close to him. You immediately fall into a deep and peaceful sleep.

I finally managed to write another Chris one ! I know a lot of my one shots are more or less Steve Rogers....
