"I saved her she saved me"

Alec a fire fighter since he was 18 years old becoming like his father who died in a fire when he was 14, his father was his hero so he worked his way up to Battalion Chief at the age 25 the youngest known. He liked a job which meant he could help save people. But one night his life changes forever when his station gets a call about a fire at an apartment building.

When they arrive at the call he stays outside in charge of his team until the FBI arrives telling him one of their team is inside so he goes in saving the life of Agent Penelope Garcia. Because he had worked in OFI, Office of Fire Investigation Division also known as fire cops.

Hotch asks him to consult on the case but he impressed Hotch with profiling skills and at the end of the case he offers Alec a job in the behavioural analysis unit. He had always been smart graduating high school with a top GPA he could have gone to Harvard, MIT or Caltech.

After visiting Garcia in the hospital and getting to know her he decides to take the job so that he can spend time with her.
