"Manik Malhotra. The son of the leading bussinessman Mr. Raj Malhotra and the lead singer of the most popular band of India, has been arrested for trying to physically molest Ms. Soha Murthy, the daughter of Vivek Murthy. Is it his act of vengeance for what happened to his fiancee? Or is Nandini Murthy using her fiancee to take her revenge when she couldn't prove anything in court? Why...........

It was the next day of the court trial of Vivek Murthy. The whole family was gathered in the living room of Malhotra Mansion watching the news except Nandini who is discussing something with Kunal in Manik's study.

No one has till now got the idea of what Nandini has planned, but they have full faith in her and waiting patiently to see what she does. They were really shocked to see Nandu so calm after hearing the news of Manik's arrest, but that gave them the assurance that she has planned something to get Manik out of this. She had gone to meet Manik in the lockup today just after his arrest and after that she and Kunal are in his study discussing their plan.

The last day was very hectic for everyone and Manik had decided to stay in the office till late last night to complete some pending works, but they really got shocked by what happened in the morning today.

Flashback
Raj's pov

I was sleeping peacefully when I felt Neyo shaking me. I looked up at her and then glanced at the clock to see its just 5 in the morning. Why is she waking me up so early? Is there some problem? Before I could ask her anything I heard Cabir calling me knocking on the door. I immediately got up and wearing my T-shirt opened the door to find a very tensed Cabir standing there with Navya beside him rubbing his back. It seems there's something really serious. I raised my eyebrows asking him what happened and what he said snatched the floor beneath my feet.

Cabir: Dad, Vivek Murthy has come with police to our office and they are going to arrest Manik. We need to leave immediately.

" But why? What has Manik done?", I asked taking the car keys and rushing downstairs with him. Navya was following us with Neyo.

" I don't know Dad. But Varun called me and said that there's something really serious. ", he said and opened car taking the driver seat.

Asking Navya to be with Neyo, we both drove as fast as we could to reach Malhotra Heights. Thankfully the roads were all clear as it was so early in the morning. When we reached there we could hardly move in as media had surrounded the office entirely. They were just throwing their questions at us mercilessly. But we paid no heed to them. Our bodyguards surrounded us and with much difficulty we reached inside the office.

" Varun, what happened? Why is the media here? Who called them? And where's Manik?", asked Cabir to his PA who was standing there with a very tensed expression. Even Aman(Manik's PA), Neil( Manik's personal bodyguard) and some other employees were there. All were tensed.

" Sir the police came half an hour ago. They just took Manik Sir with them just a few minutes ago.", Aman said.

Shit! Damn! How could they. " But what are the charges?", I asked frustrated.

" Sir they haved booked him under charges of sexual molestation." And the floor slipped beneath me yet again. Cabir was also standing numb. How can this happen? No.. My son can't do anything like this. The respect Manik had for women, hell even I was so proud of it. He can't do anythiñg like this. No. Someone is trying to frame him.

" But who? How?", thats all Cabir could say.

" Sir, Mr. Vivek Murthy came at around 4:30 with police. He said that last night his daughter Soha had come here to meet Manik Sir and has not returned till now. I had come early today because of the Mehta's documents that Cabir Sir had asked me mail him. I tried to stop them and ask them what happened but they did not stop and went to Manik Sir's floor where they found his cabin locked from outside. We all thought that none was inside, but Vivek Murthy was adamant that his daughter was there only. So he asked for spare keys. When they opened the door, they found Manik Sir lying on the sofa with slight blood coming from his forehead and that girl Soha sitting near the table and crying. Seeing this I called Aman and Cabir Sir. She said that last night he tried to molest her when she took a vase and hit him making him unconscious. She said that Manik Sir had asked the watchman Subodh to lock the door from outside so that she can't escape. Manik sir came to his senses few minutes ago and he was clueless when police took him away. ", Varun said.

I clenched my fists in anger. How low will this father-daughter stoop? Don't they have even a little bit of shame in them? How could they do this? I have full faith in my son. He can't do this even in his wildest dreams.

Cabir and I looked at each other and he nodded.

" Aman, send a message to all the employees not to come to office till the matter is settled. And you people please be here till we say anything further. Neil, get your team in action and control the media and also arrange security outside Malhotra and Murthy Mansions as media can reach there any moment. It won't take them long in targetting Nandini in all this. Dad and I are leaving for the police station. You all please take care of yourselves also.", Cabir instructed them.

" Don't stress Sir. We all know you. We know how Manik Sir is. He never even looks at the female employees in their eyes. We all have seen his respect for women. He is a pure personality sir and we all are with him. Those evil people will never win.", Varun said, and I felt an immense amount of pride in my son. Our upbringing has shown its fruits well.

With this we left for the police station where Nandini, Yug, Viren and Kunal were already present.

Manik's pov

I don't understand what's happening since the time I gained consciousness. The moment I woke up, I saw Varun, Aman and Neil standing there with tensed faces. But what shocked me was Vivek Murthy standing there hugging his daughter who was crying. Anyone who saw her could tell that its all fake. But I also noticed the police there. What had happened? Why don't I remember anything? The last thing I remember was Soha barging into my cabin and asking me to marry her. I denied and asked her to leave. After that I don't have a single memory of what happened.

Then the police arrested me. I was clueless. It was in the police van only that I came to know that I have been arrested for trying to molest Soha. What? Is it a joke going on here? I would never even want to look at her. Why would I try to molest her? And this forehead. Aaahhh! Why is it paining so much? Ah! These people have not even given me a first-aid. Bastards. No Manik, its not the fault of police. They are doing according to what they saw. The father-daughter duo are at fault here.

We reached the police station and.....they locked me up. Great!

Dad, Cabir, Papa and Yug Bhai did come to meet and assured me that everything will be fine. But I am not scared or even a bit tensed. Do you know why?

My love came to meet me immediately after I was locked up. She looked at me with some different emotion in her eyes. After good 5 minutes, she broke the eyelock and asked, " Do you trust me?"

"I do." , came my instant reply and she just smiled at me. That smile said it all. I am safe.

" Someone has come to meet you.", the voice of the hawaldar brought me out of my thoughts. I composed myself and stood up. It must be Mom. She hasn't come till now to meet me.

But when I turned, I was shocked to find the most unexpected person.

" Soha?"

" Yes. Me. Soha. ", that bitch said with a sly smile. No offense guys, but I don't think its wrong calling her that.

" Why are you here?" , I asked, rage building up in me seeing her not-so-pretty face.

" Oh Darling! I have come here to meet you. ", she said with a seductive expression which did nothing but made me feel nauseaus. Eww.

Darling? If my Shona was here, she would have given you a solid Nandu-famous punch. Haye......how sexy she would have looked while doing that.

" Won't you ask why?" This cake face had to again distract me from my Shona's thought. Ughhhh!

" What is it? What do you want? ", I asked being highly irritated.

" Aww. Baby, why are you getting so irritated?"

Irritate nahin houn to kya bhangra karun after watching you? And what is this? Baby? Mun na tod dun tera Kali Billi!

I came out of my violent thoughts and asked her straightforwardly, " Soha. I don't want this nonsense of yours. Just tell me what you want and get out of my sight."

" Marry me." What the hell! Again?Can't she get it straight in her mind? I don't want to marry her. I love Nandini.

" Have you gone nuts Soha? How many times should I tell you? I won't marry you ever in my life." I spat angrily.

" Soch lo. You are behind these bars now and very soon, infact in today afternoon only you will be punished and sent to jail. Your reputation, your family's reputaion, your company, everything is at stake. But if you agree to marry me and leave that bitch Nandini..." " Soha!" I cut her in between her baseless rants. " Mind your tongue. Say a word against her and I will cut off that not-so-useful tongue of yours. ", I was raging.

" Tch tch tch. Baby. You are not even in a condition to do anything. Okay, I don't have enough time. Think about my offer with a cool mind. Nandini will be behind the bars very soon. She won't be able to prove anything against my Dad. But you can be saved. Agree to marry me and I'll take my case back. Or else....you'll regret later." and she walked away leaving me raging like a bull.
