Vaada Hospital

Nandini was sitting in her cabin and thinking of something. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didnt even realise it when someone entered her room and sat on the sofa in front of her until the person spoke something.

Person: Mere khayalo mein khoyi ho?

Nandu came out of her trance and was surprised to see the person infront of him.

Nandu: Manik tum tour se wapas kab aaye?

Manik: Kya yaar itne dinon baad aaya hun. Na hello na hi sidha prashna? So baaad.(he pouted at the end)

Nandu:(smiling at his pouting face) Dont pout Manik. Wo actually main tumhe aise achanak dekhke surprise ho gayi thi na. Waise tumne to bola tha na ki tum do din baad aarahe ho. Phir aaj achanak?

Manik: Wo kya hai na Soha ko kuch kaam aagaya. So she postponed the Mauritaus shoot for two weeks and came back India. To ham bhi aagaye. Cabir ko Navya se milna tha aur mujhe apni Shona se. To bas aa gaye direct airport se office.

Nandu: (smiling although the mention of Soha's name still created havoc inside her) Hmm. Achha kiya.

Manik: Toh batao.

Nandu: Kya?

Manik: Yahi ki tum mere baare mein soch rahi thi.

Nandu: (getting up and coming to him) Jhut bolun ya sach?

Manik:Ummm.... Jhut hi bol do.

Nandu: (standing in front of him and bending to his ears whishpering) Maine tumhe bilkul miss nahin kiya. Aur abhi to tumhare baare mein bilkul nahin soch rahi thi.

Manik smiled and suddenly Nandu gasped as he pulled her beside him and came close to her face.

Manik: (in a husky voice) Achha?

Nandu:(eyes closed) Hmmm.

Manik moved to her nape and started nuzzling there. He gave soft kisses on her neck and moving down. Nandu was just moaning lightly.

Nandu: Mmmm. Manik!

Manik: Ab bhi miss nahin kiya tha mujhe?

Nandu: Bilkul nahin. Kyunki yeh jhut hai.

Manik smiled and pecked her forehead. He joined their foreheads and wishpered.

Manik: I missed you Shona.

Nandu: I missed you too Manik.

Manik: Ab aur wait nahin hota mujhse. Tumhe apna banane ke liye betaab hun. Aur 5 mahine kaise katenge?

Nandu:(smiling) Main tumhari hi hun Manik. Bas shadi ek naam milega iss rishte ko. Lekin hamare beech jo hai use koi naam nahin diya jaa sakta hai.

Manik: Hmm.

Nandu: Manik

Manik: Hmmm?

Nandu: Tum sirf mere ho na?

Manik: Sirf tumhara hun main. Mujhpe sirf tumhara hak hai. Samjhi?

Nandu: Hmm.

Manik moved closer to her. She had her eyes closed and her a sweet smile on her lips that were eager to feel his. He moved closer to her lips. Their heartbeats raised. Manik cupped her face with one hand. Nandu's hand went to his hair. Their lips were inches apart and.......

Hr stopped in his tracks seeing Manan's position. Manan immediately separated and looked here and there embarrased.

Cabir: Umm...So....sorry guys. Main bahar jaata hun.

Nandu: Nahin Veer Bhai. Ao na. Aa...aap kuch bol rahe the.

Cabir: Nahin wo main bas ye keh raha tha ki..... Ham chalte hain.

Nandu nodded and Cabir looked at Manik who was glaring holes in him. He gulped but neverthless gave his sweet smile and went out followed by Manik while Nandu sat on her seat blushing like hell.

Parking

Cabir: (smirking)Kya baat hai bro? Tune bataya nahin ki baat yahan tak badh gayi?

Manik: Chup kar saale. (sarcastically) Teri timing hamesha itni achhi kyum hoti hai.

Cabir: (coolly) Thanks for the compliment bro. Par kya haina ye to mujhe bhi nahin pata.

Manik:(angry) Cabirrrr.

Cabir: Chill bro. Sorry bola na maine.(Manik gave up and sat in the passenger seat grumpily)  Waise tune bataya nahin ki you proposed her?

Manik:Maine ab tak usko propose nahin kiya.

Cabir(stopping the car and looking horrified) Kya? Tu usse pyaar nahin karta kya?

Manik: Nono Cabir main to usse apni zindagi se bhi badhke pyaar karta hun. Par wo... I mean ki I dont know about her feelings na.

Cabir: Tu pagal hai kya. You were literally going to kiss her today.. Ek minute ye tera kitna time wala kiss hai?

Manik: Shut up Cabir. First kiss hone wala tha but ho nahin paya. Thanks to you.

Cabir: Shutup Manik.You were going to kiss her. Agar wo tujhse pyaar nahin karti, wo tujhe apne itne karib aane deti kya? (Manik looked at him unsure) There is no doubt Bro. Wo tujhse pyaar karne lagi hai. Tu ek baar use apne dil ki baat bol ke to dekh. Phir dekhna. Ek baar is rishte ko ek naam dede. Pyaar ka. Phir dekhna zindagi kaisi ban jaati hai. Tu ek kaam kar aaj hi usko apne pyaar ka izhaar kar hi de.

Manik smiled and nodded.

Manik: Par Cabu main uske liye wo din special banana chahta tha.

Cabir: Haan toh bana

Manik:Par kaise? Abhi time dekha hai? 5 bajne ko hai. Itni jaldi itni saari taiyaarian kaise hogi?

Cabir: Wo sab to tu hampe chhodde. Akhir fab 5 hain ham. Tu bas apne confession ki taiyaari kar.

Manik: Ok.

They went home and Manik went to his room to prepare. Cabir called fab 5 and Navya  and asked them to come to Malhotra Mansion immediately and not inform anyone.
Fab5 came there and Cabir explained them everything and they were hell excited. They made every possible arrangement . Cabir asked Navya to get Nandini to the place without letting her know anything.
For Manik, he was busy thinking how is he going to express his feelings. He was feeling nervous as well as excited. Kya karein? Bechara pehli baar kisiko propose kar raha hai na. Although he is sure that Nandu loves him, still he is afraid. Kahin Nandu ka past ke waje se koi problem na ho jaye. Wait. Nandu's past. She has till now not told him about her past. Doesnt she believe him? But she herself told that she trusts him. Phir kyun? May be bhul gayi. He let the those thoughts go to drain and prepared for his big day.

7:30 pm, Vaada Hospitals

Nandu came out of her cabin ready to go home. She went to Navya's cabin to meet her but found no one there. She asked the nurse who told her that Navya had left at 5 pm today. She was wondering as to why she went so early that too without informing her when she got a call. She picked it up.

Nandu: Haan Navu. Kahan hai tu? Sab thik to hai na? Tu itni jaldi chali gayi. Wo bhi mujhe bina bataye. Kya hua hai? Kuch bol kyun nahin rahi?

Navu: Are are meri Rajdhani express. Mujhe bolne degi to bolungi na. Wo hua ye ki aaj fab 5 wapas aaya hai. To sab ek party karna chahte  the. To main bas taiyaarion mein sab ki help karne ke liye aa gayi. Tu busy thi na. To tujhe bata nahin paayi.

Nandu: Oh. Acha ok. To main rakhti hun. You enjoy.

Navya: Kya enjoy? Tujhe bhi aana hai. Abhi bhi aa raha hai. 8:30 ko Peshwa Pavilion ke terrace pe pahunch jaana. And no arguments.

Nandu:(sighing) Thik hai.

She cut the call and went to her private room attached to her cabin to freshen up. She came out wearing this

She headed towards the parking and on the way instructed her PA to keep some files ready for tomorrow as she had a meeting for the construction of the new branch of Vaada in Singapore. She sat in the car and drove towards the restaurant. She was on the road and feeling restless. Why? she didnt know. She had a feeling that something is gonna be wrong today.

Nandini's pov

Aiyappa why do I feel that something is gonna be wrong today? Kya hone wala hai Aiyappa? Aaj tak meri premonitions kabhi galat nahin hui hain. Please Aiyappa mere parivaar ko kuch mat hone dena. Please Aiyappa. Main koi aur dard nahin seh paungi.

She was talking to her Aiyappa when she noticed that the jam in which she was stuck was not clearing. She even noticed that some accident had happened there and people were gathered around checking it. Being a doctor she immediately came out of the car and rushed towards the accident spot. She saw that a car had been rammed by a jeep. The people on the jeep were safe with little bit of minor injuries. But the driver of the car was highly injured. His head had been rammed to the steering and his head was deeply hurt. Nandini started running towards the car but suddenly stopped sensing something. An unknown fear gripped her heart. She was afraid to take a step ahead. She slowly walked step by step to the car and put her hand on the person's shoulder. She felt something wierd. She pushed the person to the seat to make his face visible. And...she froze.
