As a Child of God, you have a key to a happy life that others do not know. You have an Heavenly Father who is all-knowing, powerful, loving and merciful. You shouldn't worry about anything. Why you may ask, because you are serving a God that created everything. All you need to do is ask according to His will and you will be living comfortably and peacefully. No matter what challenges you face, you won't be fazed because you know who you are serving.

However, most children of God don't understand this. They still tend to worry about their life. The time they could spend praising God, they spend it worrying and stressing themselves.

I want to tell you something. God has been speaking to you through the Bible. You just need to open, read it and see through the words.

My secret to a happy life is "Put God first, everything falls in place".

Why? Because my Heavenly Father has promised to be there for me if I should put him first.

Where? In Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well".

Jesus tells us, Matthew 6:31 "So do not worry, saying, ’What shall we eat?’ or ’What shall we drink?’ or ’What shall we wear?’"

Jesus, our saviour and friend, tells us not to worry. And he explains further, Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

St. Matthew 10:31 "So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."

What do you need? What do you find yourself worrying about? Do you believe that God created the Heaven and Earth and everything in it? So if you do believe, why do you worry when you are serving a living God? 😏

If you want God to take control, you have to make the first step. And that step is to "Put Him first", "Seek His kingdom/ Eternal life in Heaven" and "And seek His righteousness/ Develop a Christlike character".

The Jesus tells us to "... Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect". Matt 5:48

Sincerely, this may look impossible or difficult to you but with God, all things are possible. Call on Him for strength to be perfect and to seek His righteousness. Work on developing a Christlike behavior so that the world can see Jesus through you and that you can glorify God wherever you are.

Jesus tells us as Children of God not to hide our light but "....let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven". Matt 5:16

However, if we do these but without faith, our prayers will not be answered. Faith is very important in the life of Christians.  During Jesus' ministry and healings, I had noticed something. The healings and miracles were done according to the faith of the person. The following Bible verses were gotten from Matthew:

— Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you *believed* it would." And his servant was healed at that moment.

— Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your *faith* let it be done to you";

— Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your *faith* has healed you." And the woman was healed at that moment.

— Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their *faith*, he said to the man, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."

So I will ask, why aren't you smiling? Why are you worrying so much? 😏

I will, therefore, conclude that your prayers will be answered according to your faith. Also, seek God daily, this is the key to a peaceful and happy life and may His blessings never cease in your life in Jesus' name. Amen.
