"How so?" I asked, looking into those beautiful eyes of hers. "You're complicated, intriguing, mysterious." She said simply, tracing her finger over the top of her glass of water. For a little while we had an awkward silence. "Jayden?" She finally spoke. "Yeah?" I responded thankfully. "Why did you let your boyfriend treat you that way? I get he had you blackmailed, but, why didn't you tell someone?" She asked, finally looking at me. Why did I let him treat me like that? I guess I'm as clueless as she is, but, maybe not. "I'm not sure. I've never really been in love before, nobody has cared enough about me to be with me. I guess I was afraid of being alone." I didn't meet her gaze as I looked at the approaching waiter. He brought us our food, setting it down gently in front of us. We both thanked him and he smiled to us, leaving us to dine. I picked up my fork, beginning to eat my large salad I had ordered with soup and bread. Kylie's plate was full of meat. She had steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and on the side some bread and butter. She practically inhaled her food! As for me, I slowly ate. "How are you not done yet?" She asked. "I'm a slow eater, and I'm not a vacuum cleaner like you!" I giggled to her. "Hey, I am not a vacuum cleaner! I just happen to be so hungry that it all disappeared into my stomach. Not my fault I'm magical." She grinned. As I finished my food, she insisted she'd pay for it. I tried to compromise with her by trying to pay for half, when I went into my purse to get money, she had already payed. We then went to the car, smiling ear to ear. I held her door open for her. "Oh fancy, thank you ma'am." She winked at me as she got in. I rolled my eyes playfully, shutting the door for her. I then got into the drivers seat and began to drive us home. "I had a good time." I said after a few minutes. "I did too." She said, smiling brightly at me. "I'd like to see you again, when can I?" I asked. "Which movie are you getting this from?" She laughed. I laughed too, knowing I was kidding around. "I shall never tell. But, really, I had a lot of fun. You want to do it again sometime?" I asked, pulling into the driveway.  "I'd like that. You just gotta bring us home by midnight." She winked at me. I giggled, turning the car off. We sat there a few moments, not saying anything; just staring at each other. We each began to lean in without noticing, my eyes locked onto her lips. I felt her hand on my cheek as our lips met. My eyes closed softly, my lips connected to hers and my hand on top of her soft hand. I melted into the kiss, feeling something I've never felt before. I can already tell that this is going to be a new beginning for something big. When we parted, Kylie must have felt it too because she came back in for another kiss. We sat there in the car for a few moments, just enjoying our soft lips being connected.
