I jumped up from the bed, stretching and full of energy. I then realized the beauty next to me. She mumbled and groaned a bit as I nudged her. "Wake up Kylie!" I said excitedly. She gave me a sleepy scowl and I decided to just let her sleep, she clearly isn't a morning person. I looked over to the clock and saw it was a bit past 6 AM. I cursed under my breath and ran to the shower to get ready. In the mornings, I take a jog and I wait for the sun to rise. I think it's beautiful. "Jayden?" I heard outside the door. "Yeah?" I yelled from the shower, soap suds all over my head and face. "Can I come with you?" She asked softly and kind of shyly. "Uh, sure, I'll be out in a minute." I responded as I rinsed out the suds. Once I was finished with my shower I got out, she got in and I got into a light blue, nike hoodie with leggings and blue and white sneakers. As soon as I was finished getting dressed, she came out and grabbed her clothes; going right back into the bathroom. Moments later she came out wearing a high ponytail, a pink tank top with black leggings and pink and white sneakers. I blushed a little at her beauty but I ignored it and continued to tie my shoes. "Ready?" I asked her smiling. She simply nodded and grabbed her phone. Soon, we were on the trail I normally take in the mornings for the jog. She surprisingly kept up with me the whole time and she didn't even need a break. I was impressed, she's pretty and she's athletic. This is a good time to ask myself if I'm gay. "Hey, I have a question." I heard as we slowed to a hill that had a view of the city. I sat down onto the grass, staring out at the city as I take my water bottle and drink it. She sat down next to me, not looking at me. "Do you like girls?" She asked. I thought for a few minutes and I decided that I didn't know and I should tell the truth. "I'm not sure." I replied after a while. She nodded in agreement. "I want to get to know you more." She said after a while. I nodded back to her, turning to look at her and I crossed my legs. "What do you wanna know?" I asked, curiously. "Anything, everything." She replied, finally looking back at me slightly. "Okayy.. My favorite color is Purple, I love daisy's, I enjoy old classical music, um, I love to be healthy, I'm a vegetarian, and uh, I'm afraid of Lizards." I told her as much as I could think of and she just smirked. I squinted my eyes at her, waiting for her to say something about herself or respond or, well, anything. "Cute." Was all she said. I just sat there, staring at her for a few minutes, kind of frustrated. "My favorite color is Pink. I don't like flowers, I only like the scent of lilac. I love pop music, some rock. I don't eat that healthy, I love my junk food. I eat meat. I'm afraid of sleeping alone because when I was 10 I was raped." She said shrugging. I frowned at that last part. How could such a beautiful girl like her have such a horrible thing happen to her. "It was by my dad." She said as she stared at me. "You looked like you were angry but at the same time you were sorry for me. Somehow I see a hint of confusion too. I'm sorry if that upset you." She sighed. "It's okay. You can read me easily huh?" I asked a bit too curiously. "Yeah, I just can read people. You seem like one of those people who are very open anyways." She said softly. I nodded a bit, getting up. "Let's go home, it's sunrise." I held my hand out to her and she took it, smiling brightly as I pulled her up. That smile was beautiful. I shook my head, trying to get that thought out of my head. "Okay. I'm starving! Can we have chips for breakfast?" She nudged me laughing. I laughed along with her and smirked. I can already tell that this will be fun living with her. "No we can't, but we can have cereal. Chips later!" I giggled to her and nudged her back. She then picked me up onto her back and I squeaked. "What are you doing!?" I asked laughing, her hands going onto my legs for more support. "I'm carrying you as my weight all the way home!" She replied as I tightened my legs around her. I then wrapped my arms around her neck, scared she'll drop me. She feels like a twig! "I hope I don't break you geez! You feel like a twig under me when you carry me! Am I too heavy?" I asked worriedly. She just laughed and sped up a bit. "If you were too heavy then my knees would have given out by now! And hey, I am offended! I am not a twig!" She giggled as she sped up more down the hill. I just about screamed when we went fast down the hill, I swear I thought she was going to drop me! When we got to the doorstep she put me down gently and held the door open for me. "Thank you and... Ugh I need a shower!" I said sighing and running up the stairs. She just nodded and walked to the kitchen, grabbing what I assume was chips; because I heard a crinkling bag noise. "Those better not be chips!" I yelled down the stairs. The crinkling suddenly stopped and I smirked, knowing I was right. "They're not! They're um.. Yeah, they're chips. I want them! I'm eating them!" She yelled back with an evil laugh. Well then, I'm gonna have to get used to this.
