Alex watches as the ambulance drives off to the hospital. She wipes her tears with her sleeve and runs home to get her dad, wanting to go see Sam right away. Alex worries immensely about her friend as she runs home.

"Please be okay. Please be okay." Alex mumbles under her breath, her heart beating quickly in her chest.

A doctor walks into the room and the girl jumps to her feet.

"Is She Okay? Is Sam alright?" Alex demands and runs to the doctor.
