"Can we go meet them?" Sam's eyes lit up, but her mother shakes her head.

"No, it's time for bed. You have school in the morning. Remember?" Her mother laughs lightly, the girl looks down saddened but then nods and goes upstairs to her bed.

The teacher interrupts the lesson to introduce the new student into the class. Sam looks up and her eyes meet with the red eyes of the stranger from the park the day before.

"You?" Sam gasps loudly as the girl follows.

"You!"

The teacher smiles.

"Since you already know eachother, you two can be partners."
