Vennalan

The founding species of the United Star Systems, these 3295(year) arthropods take the cake for technological advancements, having everything from genetic enhancement to black hole harnessing.

Stonehenge

These lithoids never truly evolved into a spacefaring species because of their weight, but even so, they have no lack of things they can help with. Defended from their monstrous and animalistic subspecies - the Giga-stonehenge - by the mighty Jaegers, the tall people help any and all who come to them.

Zirr

These reptilians are very militaristic, and make up most of the Union's marines. With four arms, they are expert pilots, even better mechanics, and by far the most adaptable troop of any species currently known in either galaxy. 

Tilthunal

Often called "unsavable" during the 2788 Great War, these former hive-minds don't actually do a whole lot to help the Union. Their biggest strength was their linked hive-mind, so they mostly serve as a bigger part of the worker industry.

Fara

Basically, groot. Like the Tilthunal, they do very little. They're language consists of "I am Fara" in many different fonts and volumes and frequencies. While some people have translated this language, most don't bother, seeing as it's impossible to speak without genetic or cybernetic enhancements.

Yv'narrlen

An avian species, they also don't to a lot. Being spiritualist(partly; most Yv'narrlen have accepted the materialist ethic that controls the larger part of the government), they have built multiple churches and temples around the galaxy, primarily on barren or frozen worlds. Even so, they give the government a large amount of technology.

Humans

Smallish, bipedal mammalians, these are the former apex species of Earth. After a war called the Scorching five thousand years ago in the human year 2041, they lost their tech and domination of their world. Little more is known about them.

Dragons

Separated into ten subspecies across two continents, they are Earth's current apex species. Identifying them all is nearly impossible. What is common is loyalty to their respective monarchy, but that is it.
