Chapter 25

Adam woke up the next day with a smile on his face. It's another visitation day, and he can't help but get excited to see Dena. They've only talked a few times but the bond and the chemistry is undeniable. Plus, the little bottle of lube and condom under his bed is his surprise for the man cuddled up beside him.

He rolled over, leaving little kisses on Tim's neck to wake him up. Tim moaned in his sleep and pulled Adam closer. Adam attempted to push him away but with every push, Tim's grip gets tighter. Finally, Adam managed to break free. He sat up in a sitting position.

He chuckled quietly. "Get up." He says as he straddled Tim's hips. The position made their crotches push against each other, thus, before Tim knew it, his member is standing in full attention, since he wasn't wearing any kind of clothing. He removed his clothes sometime in the night.

Adam chuckled. "I didn't mean your dick, you idiot." He says. Tim opened his eyes and rolled over pulling the blond with him..

They have switched positions, Tim, now above Adam. "Yeah? Well, it's up now, I'm up now. What are we gonna do about it?" He says in a low voice that sent shivers down Adam's spine. He leaned down and bit Adam's neck, making sure he'd leave a big noticeable mark.

"Well, today is visitation day. Your momma might be waiting for you." Adam smiles. Tim pouted. Adam took pity and kissed him passionately until they were both out of breath. "I've got a surprise for you." Adam whispers through heavy breathing.

"And what is that?" Tim asks curiously. "Tonight, you're mine." Adam smirks. He trailed his hands from Tim's shoulders to his butt, then squeezed softly. Tim moaned quietly. He looked in Adam's eyes pleadingly. "Aww, not that look." Adam whines, but ultimately gave in out of pity. After a quick blowjob, the couple headed to the shower room to clean up.

Adam looked around uncomfortably as he eyed the prisoners who were taking a shower. After a while in prison, he's still not used to exposing his body around other naked men. "What's wrong, sweetie?" Tim asks as he removed his clothes. Adam shook his head. "I don't know. I'm still not comfortable walking around naked with other naked men." He says, hugging himself. Tim pulled Adam by the waist and kissed him softly. "You have a great body. " Tim whispers. Adam buried his face in Tim's neck. "But it's supposed to be for your eyes only." He whines. Tim chuckles and lovingly kissed Adam's forehead. "That'll make them jealous." He smiles.

Adam giggled and pulled his lover under the shower. Despite a few watching eyes, they slowly washed each other's body, keeping a close eye on the door just in case Grassi decides to sneak in beside Tim. They were smiling at each other the whole time as they dried each other off with the provided towels and got dressed immediately.

"I'm starving." Tim mumbles as he wrapped an arm around Adam's waist. As they sat at their usual table in the cafeteria, both men made s disgusted face, seeing that the served breakfast is a questionable looking omelet of some sort. "I hope your mom brings cookies." Adam sighs. Tim only shook his head and sipped his coffee. They sat in comfortable silence.

Until a group of men approached their table. "Good morning, y'all!" Avi grins as he sat beside Tim. He was followed by Hunter and Samuel. "Well, good morning! Did you get f*cked last night?" Tim asks with fake enthusiasm.

"Well, yeah actually." Avi rolled his eyes. "But I'm just really happy." He grins. "Then what is the main reason?" Adam says with raised eyebrows. "My whole family's coming today because I will introduce my boyfriend." Avi smiles proudly. "Wow. Congratulations." Hunter says. "It's about time you do." Samuel commented.

"How about you, Adam? When are you gonna introduce your new boyfriend to your family?" Hunter says mindlessly. Everyone at the table stopped eating abruptly, not knowing what to say or what to do. Samuel must've forgotten to tell Hunter about Tim and Adam's relationship. To make it up to the couple, someone hit Hunter at the back of his head. "Ow. What is that for, Pops?" The baby-faced prisoner whines.

"You idiot!" Samuel growls at him. Adam looked at Tim, reading his reaction. When the brown eyed man smiled, Adam breathed a sigh of relief. "Soon, Hunter, soon." Adam winks.

"My daughter might be waiting for me. I gotta go. Bye guys." Samuel politely says, walking away from the table, followed by Hunter. "Hey, hey! Why are you following him?" Avi asks Hunter. "His daughter's hot. Saw her pics." He shrugs. Everyone else left the table after a while, eager to visit with their loved ones.

Tim and Adam went to the open field together but with a safe distance from each other. Tim smiled when he spotted his mother sitting at one of the benches with multiple bags around her. "Momma!" Tim hugs his mother. "I missed you." He tries to bat back his tears. "I missed you too, dear one." She replied as she kissed his forehead. "And you!" Dena says as she hugs Adam's neck. "Have you been treating my Timmy well?" She raised her eyebrows in a joking manner. "Yes, ma'am. Very well." Adam smiles.

"Let's set. I brought you guys more" she lowers her voice. "Brownies, and cupcakes." Tim and looked at each other excitedly and took the bags from his mom. "How are you, mom?" Tim asks, draping his arm around his mother's shoulders. "I've never been better. I was so happy when I saw you again. I even told your sister. She asked if she could come visit next time. Of course, only or you want her to." She says, her voice trailing off.

Her eyes looked very hopeful that Tim couldn't bring himself to say no. "I would love to see her. How's she doing?" Tim asks as he moved her arm as she began to dig around in her purse. Dena pulled her phone out and showed Tim pictures.

"Wow. She's still very pretty. Who's that little kid?" Tim asks. "Oh, that's your nephew. Timothy Blaine. He's seven." Dena says with a smile. "Seriously? Timothy Blaine? She named him after a mass murderer!" Tim chuckles to hide his teary eyes. Dena rubbed her son's back comfortingly. "He's got your sass." Dena laughs. Adam had been silent the whole time, just watching Tim and his mother bond.

Tim looked around the entrance just in time to see Chris and Austin walking in. Tim made a sour face and begrudgingly tapped Adam's inner thigh. "Your husband is here." Tim growls. "Come on. You know they only stay for no longer than thirty minutes." Adam blushed a bit when he noticed that Dena is listening to their conversation."Uh, I'll be back in a while." Adam says.

He followed Chris and Austin to a table. "How are you?" Chris asks, hugging Adam. "I'm good." He smiles then hugs and kisses his husband. "How's your therapy going?" Adam asked Austin. He raised his eyebrows as Austin sat on the bench with difficulty.

"Are you okay?" Adam suspiciously eyed him. "He fell down a flight of stairs the other day. He was drunk." Chris says almost too quickly. Adam only nodded, the truth screaming at the back of his head.

"So how are you doing?" Austin smiles and clutches his husband's hand to change the topic. "I have good news, sort of." Adam says, not really trusting himself. "Really? What?" Austin fakes a smile. "I may or may not be moved to jail if it will be proven that the Smiths were already dead when that happened." He says.

Austin's smile faded, so did Adam's. Austin looked at Chris, and that is when the blond knew that something's wrong. "Maybe you should just tell him." Chris says quietly. "Tell me what?" Adam asked, looking between the two.

"Adam, I'm sorry." "Why are you sorry? What's happening?" Adam's voice escalated slightly, enough to draw people's attention. At this point, the skinny man cleared his throat in an obvious attempt to fight his impending sobs. "For the past five months, I've moved on and found someone. We already live together and...I... I love him."

Adam glared at him, hard. "I sort of expected it, honestly." He chuckles dryly. "You were gone. I got lonely." Austin cries. "How long? Three weeks? three months?" He smiles bitterly. "We've been dating for a year." Chris speaks up. He took Austin's hand and laid their entwined fingers in front of Adam, either to prove it or to mock his brother.

At the table next to them, Dena and Tim looked at each other, then the matriarch said, "I think this will not end on a good note." She whispers. Tim watched closely just in case his lover needs him. Dena's right.

In a few seconds, Adam flipped the table, prompting Chris and Austin to step back from the angered and betrayed blond. "YOU? ONE YEAR? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Adam screamed every word, a steady flow of tears fell from his eyes. "I-I told you. You were always gone, and I got lonely. I didn't mean to do it. I loved you, Adam. I did. " Austin further explains.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO F*CK MY BROTHER!? HOW ABOUT YOU, CHRIS? WHAT'S YOUR F*CKING EXCUSE?" Adam balled his fists at his side. "I wanted to help him. Your obsession had gone too far and the police had to get involved." Chris wraps his arms around a crying Austin, angering the man even more.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Adam attacked his brother with no regard and wrapped both of his hands around Chris's neck tightly."HOW DOES IT FEEL, HUH?! DOES IT FUCKING HURT!? DOES IT?!" Adam's anger fueled action caught everyone's attention. "I...can't...b-breathe." Chris says as he weakly tried to pry himself off of his brother's grip. "THAT'S WHAT I WAS AIMING FOR YOU F*CKING TRAITOR!"

Austin grabbed a knife, that was carelessly overlooked by the guard, out of his bag and walked behind his husband. "Adam, let go or else..." He warned.

But before he could finish, Tim wrestled him to the ground, Austin landing facedown. "Don't you dare lay a finger on him, you, slutty ass cheater!" Tim grabbed the knife from Austin's hand and tossed it away. He grabbed a fistful of Austin's hair and twisted one of his arms.

"Ow! Stay out of this, murderer!" The skinny man says in between groans of pain. "You even think about hurting Adam after everything!?" Tim says. "What makes you think you can talk to me like that!?" Austin argues. Tim flipped the skinnier man over and pulled him up. He grabbed Austin's shoulders and looked him right in the eyes. "I love him, Austin." Tim whispers faintly.

Before Austin could respond, Avi and Dena were already pulling him away. Chance and Samuel were obviously biased too. When Chris got a chance to flip them over, that is when they stepped in. Samuel pushed a red-faced and panting Chris away from the blond.

Chance pulled Adam towards him. "He's your brother, Adam. Get a grip." Adam faced the guard. "He's a traitor, Chance. He fooled me." Chance led him towards Tim and Dena. "It's okay, honey. He's not worth it. Calm down." Dena softly whispers, rubbing Adam's back with one hand and hugging Tim's neck on the other.

It left Chance and Samuel to deal with his adulterous brother and husband. "Just leave. I know this is really unprofessional but shame on you for cheating on him." Chance says, shoving him towards the gate. If that was a bit harsh, Samuel is so much worse. "Listen, f*cker. F*ck you and your slutty brother in law. If I ever see you again, I promise you'll leave in a f*cking coffin. Nobody messes with my friends. Remember that." Samuel says then quickly punched Chris's stomach. "Jackson!" Chance screams. "I didn't do anything!" Samuel raised his hands up in the air.

After they'd stabilized the situation, Chance went to check on Tim and Adam. Tim had calmed down and now clutched a heavily sobbing Adam in his arms. Dena still had her arms around the couple. Adam hadn't said a word since, just looking, or more like glaring into nothingness.

Chance gently tapped on Tim's shoulder. He knew that this day would come, but he didn't anticipate Tim's actions. "I think that's enough for today, Foust. Y'all should go get some rest." Tim wrapped his arm around Adam's waist and stood up to support the still sobbing heartbroken man.

Dena quickly grabbed Chance's hand to get his attention. "Mr. Chance, can I walk them back to their cell, please? I'll be just a minute, I promise." Dena pleads. Chance smiled at the elderly woman. "I will have to accompany you, ma'am." He says politely.

Tim and Adam started walking ahead of them, Tim carefully holding the man as if he were fragile. It left Dena and Chance walking at the same pace. "I wanted to do for Adam what I didn't do for my son." She says quietly. "And that is?" "Supporting him. I was blinded by shame that I forgot to look into my son's feelings."

"I'm just glad that you're back in his life. For as long as he'd been here, I could see him silently hoping that you'd come whenever visitation day rolls around." Chance smiles.

Once they reached Tim and Adam's cell, the brown eyed man turned to face his mom. "I can take it from here." He whispers as he hugs Dena. "I will try to visit more often from now on. Please take care of him." She says. "I will, mom." He nodded.

He waited for Chance and Dena to leave before pushing the cell door open, letting Adam enter first. Tim pushed the door close behind him and slowly pushed Adam on the bed to motion him to lie down. "Come here, precious." Tim whispers. And just he expected, Adam crashed in his arms with heavy sobs.

"I knew it. I knew this would happen but it didn't hurt any less." Adam says in between his cries and gasps for breath. "Honey, I've been there before. Trust me, I know just how much it hurts. I know it will take time for you to move on but I will be here every step of the way, baby. I will help you." He whispers in Adam's ear softly.

For a few moments, nothing can be heard except for Adam's sobs and Tim's gentle voice hushing the blond comfortingly as they lay close to each other. Adam held onto his lover as if his life depended on him. As Tim heard Adam's steady soft breaths, he too, closed his eyes and started to doze off.

Sometime in his sleep, Tim felt a bit chilly. It must be after sunset, he thought. He reached behind him but found no blanket...and no Adam.

Only after Tim noticed a pair of feet dangling above his head did he find the blankets he was looking for. "NOOOOO! ADAM!" Tim cries. He immediately jumps up. Adam's body is still warm to touch. He's still alive. But his eyes were already closed and his heartbeat's faint.

"HELP, SOMEBODY! CHANCE PLEASE HELP ME! AVI!" Tim desperately sobbed as he held Adam's waist to elevate him just a little bit to keep him from completely suffocating. "No, no, baby, please don't." He says as he shook his head.

"What the-FUCK! ROB, GET DR. OLUSOLA!" Chance says as soon as his eyes caught Adam's body hanging, suspended by Tim carrying him by the waist. Avi followed soon after his lover.

Thinking quickly, Avi retrieved a pair of scissors he had hidden in his cell. "Chance, you gotta help me on this one." He looks around his lover.

They both stepped above the bed. Avi climbed on his lover's shoulders and supported his body by holding on the pipeline by the wall. With a little difficulty, he managed to cut through the fabric around Adam's neck just as Dr. Olusola, Samuel and Hunter run in.

Tim caught Adam's lifeless figure, laying him in bed. "I can't lose you, Adam. I love you."
