Extras

If you've read Monologues, you may recall that some parts of my story are related to me IRL. Here are some extras from the book that were not mentioned.

WARNING! Spoilers may follow.

~~~~Rainkit~~~~
I made it so that two of my siblings were WindClan and Littlebird's mate being in SunClan because of the fact that I initially intended for Stealthheart to be born into WindClan.
Rainkit comes from my alternative name and my tribe name, Rain On A Starry Night. Rainkit would be me if I had actually settled with the idea of becoming medicine cat.
Rainkit is deaf because I wanted a cool plot in the third arc of the sequeled clans, and because when I first heard of The Warriors from a book report, I had a completely different perspective of the plot (that I am still ashamed of), so I made it so Rainkit cannot learn the ways of a warrior.
Rainkit does not die from a badger in the actual series. She grows up and becomes Rainfern. She becomes medicine cat because I considered becoming medicine cat before I finished the series. This is possible because throughout these two books I am constantly changing the different stories.
~~~~Stealthkit~~~~

IRL, I have 2 siblings; an older brother and an older sister, which is why I decided to be the youngest of 2 siblings. However, Ferncloud is older than Ashfur, but younger than Cloudkit. My brother is older than my sister. As a result, I decided to make Eagleheart older than Sweetcloud and Lightfoot.

My name came from The New Prophecy Quest game on the warrior's site. It only gave me an apprentice name, Stealthpaw, so I created my warrior name.

I didn't want to be white, because that was too common, and I didn't want to be fluffy either. My tribe name, Rain On A Starry Night, suggests my pelt color. Also, my cat has white hairs on her pelt. When we pull them, she growls and/or hisses. She is a part of Birdclaw's universe, featured in Molecloud's Tale, Birdstar's Lead, and The Gathering of Stars. Her warrior name is Emberfur, taken from her name, Ember, and the way it looks like embers and ash are scattered across her head and back. The first cat my family ever had was named Amy, and she was black and fluffy. She was my mom's wedding present from my dad, so when we had to give her away, I always thought of myself as black cat. When I was nine, I also created my first pysodynm, Amy Black, after that cat. Laney found out, and told me that it sounded as if I were related to Jack Black, so then I changed it to Pori Z. after playing The Legend of Zelda and deciding that I was most like a Zora, hence the z. Pori came from the idea of writing Zelda fanfiction and "Pori" was the first name that popped into my head. I later discovered that "Pori" is the name of a place in Sweden. I also later added a middle initial - M - after the first letter of my name. Anyway, my mom got me a Bombay cat named Winifred.This is when I decided to have a sleek pelt instead of a fluffy one.

When I first read the series, I wanted Whitestorm to be my father. Later on, I found out that he had four kits in that litter, two of them having died unofficially named. So I decided to make me one of the unnamed kits, and name the other one Cloudkit, who was revealed to have died to greencough. This later resulted to me being struck with greencough and nearly dying. This is when I decided to introduce Spottedleaf to Stealthkit officially.

I decided to be born earlier in the book due to the fact that I did not want to postpone Runningwind's death, but I still had to follow the warrior code and wait six moons.

As many of you know, Spottedleaf has made a huge impression on both Stealthheart's and my real life, so I made myself a witness of her death.

Later in the series, I thought my clan was WindClan. This idea came from the personality test on the warrior's official site. I instead joined ThunderClan after Onewhisker became leader. Now, I usually refer to the modern leaders as their warrior names because of this experience. Exceptions include Blackstar, Sunstar, Bluestar, Leopardstar, and Tallstar.

~~~~Stealthpaw~~~~
I decided to name Stealthpaw an apprentice early for three reasons; 1) Brackenfur is only a few moons older than my siblings and I, and yet he was named a warrior shortly after we were apprenticed. 2) I did not want to postpone Runningwind's death. 3) I wanted Lionheart to be my mentor before I read that he died. This is also why I postponed his death.
My best friend as an apprentice, besides my family, was Brightpaw.
I decided to consider becoming a medicine cat because I didn't like the idea of fighting when I first began reading. I actually do know about a third to a half of the herbs used by ThunderClan medicine cats.
I can taste honey because I am a Twoleg. While the idea for this story was blossoming, I decided that little events of my life would be revealed to me slowly.
~~~~ Stealthheart (Warrior)~~~~

I never actually loved Runningwind reading the series. I was searching for a mate after I read The Last Hope, and Runningwind, Longtail, and Darkstripe were the only ones without a mate. I thought of Longtail, but I later theorized that Longtail is the father of Brightheart and Thornclaw. Then I remembered how Runningwind helped Fireheart with the apprentices, and I decided that I wanted to marry someone like him someday.

When I wanted to be in WindClan, Onewhisker was to be my mate, until he became leader.

If anyone was reading when this first came out, I decided to have a she-kit with Onewhisker when I was first writing. I wanted to kill her because it was too strong for the story, but it broke my heart to do it. Then I remembered in a rpg that I took Runningwind as a mate and vowed never to take on another after he died. I decided to keep that promise. I still liked other toms, such as Firestar, when I was reading The Darkest Hour, Brackenfur, Tallstar, Rainwhisker, Longtail, and Heavystep.

Brackenfur welcomed me as a senior warrior because I really liked him reading the series. I did not take him as a mate due to him liking Sorreltail.

~~~~Stealthheart (Deputy)~~~~
I wanted to skip my deputy ceremony and all of the events in between Midnight and The Last Hope, but it was way to many events to not talk about, so I continued to write Stealthstar's Memory, while still updating Stealthheart's Dream.
~~~~Stealthstar~~~~

I never intended on becoming leader. After I finished the series, I intended on dying as a deputy. But then I found myself thinking about what would have happened if I were leader, so I came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to become Firestar's successor. Another reason why I refer to most leaders as their warrior names. Furthermore, you change when you become leader. No more special quests, no more sneaking out to meet a friend from another clan, no more fire inside from your warrior life. Your duty is to your clan. They are always watching you, looking to you for help. Sure, I'm proud of my title, but I always call myself Stealthheart in memory of the fire that comes from the life of a warrior. Thus suggesting the name, Stealthstar's Memory. Stealthheart's Dream erupted from the idea that I dreamed all of this, revealed at the end of Stealthstar's Memory.

My loss of nine lives comes from real life events. My younger cousin was once crushed by a falling TV. I was actually hit by a car. I do not remember the experience, so Stealthstar suffers from memory loss temporarily. My second bout of greencough came from the high fever that I had when I was three or four (see Monologues; #PRIESTHOOD). My last life is related to the fact that every time I move in somewhere, I make friends, and then they turn their backs on me about one or two weeks later. Part of my nine lives ceremony is also based off real life, for reasons too personal to reveal publicly.

Some of the warriors at my ceremony who were cut from the nine lives were, as follows: Heavystep, Brindleface, Silverstream, Longtail, my grandchildren, Ashfur, Skywatcher, Gorsepaw, and ancient cats from DOTC.

~~~~The Kits~~~~
When I first wrote the book, I thought of how hurt Stealthstar might feel when she found out she was a Twoleg. So, I had to make something snap her out of the trance. I had always planned on Eagleheart dying first as deputy and Sweetcloud dying last, so I thought it necessary to have him snap me out of it.
Sweetcloud was originally thought to be mate to Foxleap, but then I remembered that he was Ferncloud's son, making her Foxleap's cousin. Then I had a debate whether to have her mate with Mousewhisker or Toadstep, and she ended up with Mousewhisker.
When I was reading Dawn, I apparently did not pay attention to whether Cody was a boy or girl, and mistakingly had her mate with Sweetcloud. I was so embarrassed and decided to create another kittypet trapped in the monster to make up for the kit they had. I named him after the name I had always wanted to have as a cat; before I even knew what warrior cats were. A friend on Animal Jam named me, after they adopted me as a wolf (dog).
I couldn't find a mate for Lightfoot at first. Then I was searching for a different-clanned friend to meet at my first gathering, and I thought Heavystep would make a good mate.
Lightfoot had five kits because I was reading in Fire and Ice how Cloudtail had four siblings, so I thought, "Why hasn't any other cat had five kits?" Heavykit looked exactly like his father, Gorsekit was a sleek gray tom with sparkling blue eyes, and Crowpaw was a sleek, jet black she-kit with blue eyes like her brother's.
I always wanted Lightfoot to only be medicine cat, but I knew that Leafpool had to take the position. This was when I decided to give her a mate.
~~~~Other Cats~~~~

I had to kill some cats because of the overflow of warriors.

I made Spiderleg an elder because one of the Three once noticed that he looked frail, and would be joining the elders soon.

I reunited Daisy and Spiderleg because I wouldn't believe it when it said they had stopped being mates. I also felt that Daisy gives nothing to the clan besides babysitting.

I planned out my kits' lives before I found a mate.

I originally intended on Harespring succeeding Onestar, but I thought otherwise after rereading Midnight. Crowfeather obtained leadership of WindClan because Deadfoot pointed out that he might make a good leader someday when he nominated him for the prophecy. I also considered making Cloudtail my first deputy, for the time Princess said he might become leader and get nine lives himself, but it was cut out because he did not believe in StarClan. However, I plan on making him Graystripe's last deputy in Following Fire.

The only cats based off real life that are not included in this book are my two cats, Ember and Winifred; known as Emberfur of ShadowClan and Nightclaw of WindClan in Molecloud's Tale and Birdstar's Lead, and my friend from the youth; Sammy, known as Windstorm of FireClan in ArthurWiseman's (Stormfire's) warrior life. My family is even in this book. My sister is Russetnose, my brother is Mossclaw, my mom is Lavenderfoot, and my dad is Gingerflame; all part of ShadowClan.

~~~~About the Book~~~~
After Dawn gets its name because it takes place during and after the third book, Dawn.
Stealthstar's Memory gets its name because of the memories that are revealed to me each time I lose a life.
I wrote this story because I never wanted to forget how I felt when I first read the series. If you have read Monologues; #BULLYING, you should know how badly I wanted to be a part of it.
When I was writing the story, some of the chapter's names were dates. This is because I keep track of my warrior life progression IRL. Beginnings takes place in May of 2013, and on that day, I learned about the warrior's series through a book report given by a classmate named Peanut Butter, whom I talk about a lot. Whitestorm's Fear takes place on November 12, 2013, in which I read a sample of Into the Wild from the Warrior's official site. Stealth takes place on December 31, 2013, in which I bought and finished the first book and fell in love with it. Introductions takes place in March of 2014, in which I finished The Prophecies Begin arc. Confessions takes place on November 12, 2014, in which I became a warrior after knowing about the warriors for a year. WindClan Guests takes place on January 2, 2015. The Song and the Battle of Blood takes place on July 2, 2015, six moons after my kits were born. I will become senior warrior after I complete the series a second time, deputy once I finish Stealthheart's Dream, and leader when I complete Stealthstar's Memory.
The chapters in both books were numbered at first, but I couldn't get myself to update in a regular pattern, instead updating at whatever event I felt motivated to write about. The numbers were removed and I named the chapters instead.
