The next morning I woke up to my alarm clock and I pressed the button but it didn't stop. I grabbed it and threw it across the room. As it hit the wall I cringed at the loud noise.

My mum rushes in "What was that?" she looks at me then the clock then me again.

I try to explain myself "Sorry, it didn't stop and you know how I get in the morn--" "Emma I know you don't want to move and leave behind your friends but don't take it out on the alarm clock" she scolded me. What the fuck?!

"I.. uh.. What?! You think because I don't want to move I took it out on the alarm clock?" I shook my head in disbelief.

"Please don't destroy any more of your things, alright?" with that she left my room.

I was so pissed off I laid back in bed I didn't get up, I didn't do a thing. I just took my phone and texted Mia.

Me *Hey Mia

Mia *Hey there everything alright?

Me *Yeah, can u believe my mum thinks I broke my alarm clock on purpose

Mia *What? Why?

Me *Well, when I woke up this morning my alarm didn't stop when I hit the button. I kept on hitting it but it didn't work so I threw it on the wall

Mia *What?!

Me *She thinks I did it cause I'm angry and I don't want to move :(

Mia *Awww I'm sorry

Charlie *Hey guys

Charlie *Whats happening ;)

Mia *So what are you doing now?

Me *I'm in bed, I didn't do anything

Mia *What?! You have to go shower now

Me *Why

Mia *Cause you'll make her more angry and you don't want her angry

Me *Ok thanks. Bye

I head to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I quickly get in the shower and scrub myself. I take my vanilla shampoo to wash my hair and rinse it off.

Moments later I'm in front of the mirror with a towel around my body as I decide what to do with my hair. I just pack it into a messy bun because I know I'll do a lot of work of work today and I don't need my stupidly long hair in the way.

I decide to go with jeans, a dark pink shirt and sandals. I head downstairs.

My mum is outside and I go to the kitchen and see my breakfast on the counter. I sit down to enjoy my toast, eggs and bacon.

My mum comes to the kitchen when she sees me she seems uneasy. "Um.. that's my.. um.. breakfast" she gestures to the almost empty plate.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't-- wait a minute, so where's mine?" I glared at her.

"I thought you'd have cereal" she tells me. Oh.

"I'm sorry" I move closer to her "and I didn't break my alarm clock on purpose" I kiss her cheek and leave the kitchen to get my stuff from my room.

By 11:30 we're ready to leave. I stare at the house I've come to love and sigh. Goodbye Boston.

6 hours later we are already on Carter street and as we pass Jace's house I feel nostalgic. As we pull into my grand ma's driveway I already smell the brownies.

My grandma rushes out to greet us and she hugs me so tightly I wonder how such an old lady can hug like that.

"Let me show you to your rooms she smiles at me. "Grandma we know our rooms" I smile at her. I look up at my new home, a three bedroom home.

We go to the kitchen first to eat. I take a brownie and in 2 minutes I've finished 5. "Go slow on the brownies dear, I made pasta for lunch."

We spend the rest of the day arranging our things. Our remaining furniture was still in our old house with price tags on everything.

When my room is done I sigh and plop down on the bed. My phone vibrates and I pick to see Mia's name.

"Mia, miss you guys so much. Are you at the fight?" I ask her when I hear noise in the background.

"Hey Emily, yes I'm here most people left but he's still here" she was laughing.

"Where's Charlie?" I asked her. "Oh, he's here he says hi" she stops laughing.

We talk for a few more minutes before she hung up. I sleep off after a few minutes.

The next morning I wake up to sunlight streaming in from my window. I check the time and it's 10 am.

I head to the bathroom and after a long shower I'm still undecided on what to wear after a few minutes.

I want to look good in case I run into Jace. Wait what do I care what he thinks. I decide on jeans shorts, a purple turtle neck, a black beanie and cream sandals.

I head down to find my gran in the kitchen. "Morning grandma" I smile at her.

"Why are you so dressed up?" she asked raising her eyebrows. "I'm going out to see the town" I tell her.

"Okay, have some breakfast" she pushes a plate of toast to me.

After breakfast I head out. My first thought is the park but to get to the park I have to pass by Jace's house.

Here goes. I start walking towards the park when I hear my phone vibrate in my pocket.

"Hi Charlie, what's up?... You know what forget I said that" I laughed.

"Okay, everything's fine, I hope Georgia's treating you well. I missed you so I called" he told me.

"I was just taking a walk around my neighborhood, so I don't get lost in the future" I smile.

"Well, I just wanted to hear your voice. Bye" he hung up.

I continued walking and as I got closer to the William house, the more nervous to grew.

Then as I got to the front of the house the front door opened and I saw him. I saw my childhood crush and that moment I knew I wasn't over my crush.

Hey guys so dramatic enough for ya? I'm so giddy right now cause I've been waiting for this chapter for a long time ;)
