Chapt. 1
When I awoke it was 7:30 in the morning I didn't want to get up and go to school, but I have to. So I got out of bed and put on some random clothes not bothering to match. I walked to the kitchen, but wasn't hungry. So I just left heading to meet with the gang on the way to school. I was walking to the meet up place which was Tyler's House. It was the closest to school and we all could make it there in time. As I was walking I was still thinking about Bryce. Out of nowhere I was thrown to the ground. I looked up and saw the group that bullied me in middle school. They transferred to the same high school I went to this year. I gulped the fear that was raising in my throat.
"Well, lookie here. We got mr. wrecker in the flesh," Kevin said in the most mocking way possible. "How's life been treating you since you left?"
"It's been fine. Now can I just leave I can't take this right now."
"Fine you can leave, but we will find you." With that said his group and him left. I got up and started walking to Tyler's house again. When I got there I was the last one.
"Where have you been?" Craig asked as I walked up to them.
"Oh I just got hung up with some people. No big deal."
"Whatever let's just head to school before we're late," Evan said and we all started walking to school. The guys were laughing and joking around like they did everyday, but I just stayed silent walking near them. I think the guys knew something was wrong with me. I wasn't throwing in random comments here and there like I normally do. I just kept my eyes on my feet and kept walking. Soon we got the school and I almost broke down in tears. Every morning I saw Bryce here. The guys saw the sadness in my face, but didn't say anything. We walked into the school and of course people flocked to Evan and Tyler. The rest of us just hung near them, but didn't get in the conversation. Soon the bell rang and we walked to class. We all had the same home room. We also have lunch together, but other than that I don't have any classes with them. We walked into the room and sat in our normal seats. I was holding my sadness from the events that happened. But when the announcements were read and one was about Bryce I finally broke down. Tears flowed down my face, but I didn't make a sound. Some people sitting near me gave weird looks, but one glare from Evan and Tyler their attention was back at the teacher. The teacher the started to do roll call. When he got to my name he looked at me with sympathy and kept going on trying not to make me the center of attention. I was grateful for that, but also just wanted to curl into a ball and sob my heart out. Soon the bell rang and we were dismissed. I got up with the guys and we walked out. People gave me uncomfortable glances as we walked down the hall. We got to our lockers which were right next to each other's.
"What was up in there?" Tyler asked standing next to me.
"Sorry just when he started talking about Bryce I started to get emotional," I said leaning on the lockers.
"Right you liked him. I forgot after we started to pick on him." Tears started to welled in my eyes thinking about what we did to him. It was because of us that he killed himself. "You Okay?" Before I could answer I ran down the hall to my next class.
