Wooyoung woke up to something baking in the kitchen. He let out a content sigh and turned to see that Jongho was indeed gone, but he didn't mind since he could hear where the younger was.

His mind drifted to last night and the amazing time they had had together. Jongho's confidence had grown since their first time, and the thought of how Jongho had made him feel last night made him blush and hide under the covers.

"What are you doing?" Jongho's lighthearted laugh came from the door.

Wooyoung peeked at him and felt himself turn an even deeper shade of red. "N-Nothing."

Jongho just shook his head and walked over to his side of the bed while setting the try down on the end of it. "Are you hungry?"

"Starving!" Wooyoung popped up and kept the blankets wrapped around his waist and legs. He looked down at the try, which had a few large, gooey cinnamon rolls on it that had been layered with icing. There was also a bowl of fruit and some milk as well. "Wow, this looks great! Did you make all this yourself?"

Jongho hummed while popping a strawberry into his mouth. "Yup. I slaved over them for the entire ten minutes to container told me to bake them for." He peeked a Wooyoung and pressed his lips together to hold in his laughter.

It didn't work.

Both of them doubled over and Jongho eventually pulled Wooyoung in close so they could lean into each other while eating.

"Have you ever ridden a horse before?" The younger asked as their meal drew to a close.

"N-No. I haven't, actually. My parents don't like animals so they didn't want me to be around them either." Wooyoung fiddled with his fingers.

Jongho grabbed one of his hands and laced their fingers together before bringing Wooyoung's hand to his lips. "Would you like to learn? I need to go check on some of the fields and I thought we could ride there if you'd like?" He placed a few more soft kisses on Wooyoung's hand while watching him closely.

Wooyoung felt like he had been captured by the younger's gaze. He could sit like this forever if he was given the choice. His heart was pounding so much more than normal.

It almost scared him to think about what that could mean...

"Can I learn that easily? I wouldn't even know where to begin." He asked, trying to push the other thoughts aside.

"Oh yeah, I've got an older gelding I will have you ride. He's very peaceful and he's who the kids will ride when they come around here." Jongho slipped out of bed and took the tray back to the kitchen.

Wooyoung took that time to slip out of bed and find his clothes. He was thankful he had just decided on an older t-shirt today that After pulling on his boots, he met Jongho in the kitchen and saw that he was on the phone.

"Yes... Of course I'll be there... Mom... Mom, please, it's not like that! You know I want to see you. I just have a lot of responsibility here... You sure know how to lay it on thick, don't you... I already told you I'd be there... Yes, I know... Yeah, I love you too." Jongho hung up with a sigh.

"Is everything ok?" Wooyoung walked up to him and wrapped his arms around his waist.

"Yeah, I just have a family thing I need to do this weekend that is becoming a lot more stressful than I want it to be."

"Oh..." Wooyoung glanced down at Jongho's chest. "I was hoping I'd get to see you again."

His head was tilted back up when Jongho gently place his fingers underneath Wooyoung's chin. The brightest smile was on his face. "You have no idea how happy that makes me. And I would love to see you too, but this is really important to my family."

"No I get it, it's ok. You have a different relationship with your family than I do! I'll never judge you for that."

"You're amazing." Jongho pulled him into a kiss. "Are you ready?" He asked, then placed a cowboy hat on top of the older's head.

"No, but let's go." Wooyoung pulled him from the kitchen, but then let Jongho lead him to the barn.

His nerves started to rise as he watched Jongho get all of the tack together. Wooyoung's only experience with horses was watching them on tv. They were a lot bigger in person. The foal he had met was fine, but a full grown horse standing right next to him? That was a different story.

"Wooyoung, this is Hank." Jongho said while leading a horse even bigger than what he had been expecting over to him. He was very muscly, with a reddish brown coat and a white stripe on his forehead. It looked like he had white fur or hair around his hooves too, covering them completely, while his mane and tail were black. "I know he looks intimidating. He's a Clydesdale, so he's meant to be a working horse, but I promise he is a sweetheart. Come meet him."

The older hesitated, but after receiving a reassuring look from Jongho, he stepped forward slowly.

Hank's ears perked forward and he snorted. His large brown eyes were inquisitive as Wooyoung stepped closer.

"He's not going to hurt you. Just try and relax." Jongho patted the horse's neck.

Wooyoung kept one hand close to his chest but extended the other one out to the gelding. He extended his neck and huffed into Wooyoung's hand. There were tiny whiskers dotting his muzzle that tickled the palm of Wooyoung's hand. "H-Hi."

"He likes you." Jongho started rubbing him down with a brush while Wooyoung took a moment to rub the large animal's cheek and get more familiar with him.

A tiny meow drew his attention. Wooyoung looked down and saw Nova pawing at his boot. "Hey! There she is." He stooped down to pick her up and brought the kitten up to his face. She meowed again and placed her paws on his nose. "Are you having a good time?"

Nova flailed her legs and Wooyoung placed her on his shoulder. He winced slightly when he felt her claws graze his skin when she used them to hold her balance, but she didn't move around once she found it.

Hank let out a little nicker and started to sniff at the small cat.

"He loves the other animals, don't worry, he won't hurt her either." Jongho mentioned while placing a blanket on Hank's back. "If she behaves herself, she could probably come with us. Bailey will come with us too, he loves joining me on rides."

Wooyoung stayed by Hank's head but kept his eyes focused on everything that Jongho was doing. The horse didn't fidget at all while the saddle was strapped around his stomach or the halter was placed over his head. Jongho mentioned something about Hank not needing a bit, which Wooyoung had no idea what that meant but he just smiled and nodded.

It was nice seeing Jongho in his element. He was so animated and happy whenever he spoke. A small smile crossed Wooyoung's face.

When he was finished getting both Hank and a black mare he had named Piccadilly ready, Jongho carefully placed Nova on a bail of hay. "Alright, let's go!" He turned to Wooyoung. "I'm going to make a foothold with my hands. You step into it and I'll lift you onto his back, ok? Grab onto the saddle horn when you can and use that to pull yourself into the saddle and keep your balance."

"Ok." Wooyoung followed his instructions. Jongho lifted him up like he was nothing, and before he knew it, Wooyoung was sitting on the back of a creature several times his size. His nerves set in again, but when Jongho moved his mare next to him and took his hand, Wooyoung relaxed instantly.

"Hank will take care of you. He knows to follow me and he doesn't spook. We are just going to take it nice and easy."

"Ok." Wooyoung said again. He wiggled in his seat and took a deep breath.

Nova meowed from the haystack she was on and tilted her head.

Hank walked over to it, the sudden movement scared Wooyoung and made him grip the saddle horn as if his life depended on it, and turned his body so that all Wooyoung had to do was lean over and pick her up. She started to purr in his hand, then settled down on the saddle right in front of him.

Jongho came to a stop right next to Wooyoung. His mare was a lot thinner than Hank, but she was tall. Even so, she was shorter than the gelding, so Wooyoung suddenly found himself looking down at Jongho. "Let's go." He said. Then he clicked his tongue and Piccadilly walked out of the barn.

It took a little bit, but Wooyoung got used to the horse moving beneath him and let himself relax.

Jongho's farm was beautiful. And even bigger than Wooyoung realized. There were large fields being worked on by by several people who would great them whenever they could.

Bailey came and joined them at some point. His barking did nothing to disturb the horses, indicating that they were used to the hyperactive dog. He looked happy too. His tail wagged so hard the entire back end of his body wagged with it.

Their ride ended up lasting most of the day. Wooyoung learned a lot about the ins and outs of the farm, especially when it came to scheduling or making sure that everything ran smoothly.

He was once again impressed by all the hard work and dedication Jongho had put into this place. He had built it from the ground up and was doing a lot of great things here.

When they were back in the barn, Wooyoung stood off to the side once more while Jongho took care of the horses.

"You know," the younger said while pulling the giant saddle off Hank's back, "If there's anything you need food wise, I don't mind setting aside a few things for you. Especially eggs. We are always overflowing with them, I end up giving them away."

"That would be great, actually. Thank you! One of these days I promise I'm going to pay you back for everything you've done for me. It's seriously too much." Wooyoung stared down at the ground.

"And one of these days you will learn to just accept it because I like doing it for you." Jongho said gently while taking Wooyoung's hand. "Come on, I'll take you home."

"When can I see you again?"

"Next week. I promise." Jongho pulled him into a hug and kissed the side of his head.

Wooyoung hummed and leaned into the embrace.

When he stepped into his apartment, Nova started to squirm in his hands. She took off as soon as he set her down and dove for one of her toys.

He watched her for a few minutes, then sat down at his kitchen table with a sigh.

The thoughts plaguing the back of his head came forward.

He knew he had a decision he needed to make soon, but he had no idea how he was supposed to make it.

Two amazing men had entered his life. And now he was afraid he was starting to develop feeling for Jongho. The fact that he had been disappointed about not being able to see Jongho this weekend was his first tip.

San was exciting and thrilling and Wooyoung felt like he'd never be bored with him.

But Jongho...

Wooyoung groaned and fisted his hair. He didn't know what to do...

He had a date with San tomorrow night. He needed to take the time to be with him too and give him a fair chance.

Then he would look at making a decision. It wasn't fair to keep stringing both of them along, even if neither of them knew about the other. Wooyoung also decided he would come clean about that too after making a decision.

After a few more minutes of deliberating, Wooyoung pulled out his phone for the first time all day.

His heart instantly dropped.

There were several missed calls from Marcus and one very angry voicemail...

"I don't know why you haven't been answering me, but I had better see you at my office tomorrow morning. On time. You have got some explaining to do. You are supposed to be available for me to rely on, that was part of the deal. Ten o'clock. On the dot. Do not be late."
