Sophia's POV

*Flashback*

"May did you see my diary?" I said searching her study table.

I can't lose it.

"Nope. Don't worry it will be around here somewhere" she said munching the potato chips.

"It's not there" I said slumping against the couch beside her. I searched every nook and corner for it but it was nowhere to be found.

"I can't leave for home without my diary" I shook my head.

It was true, that diary was not just a diary to me, it was one of the things that I valued more than anything.

"You are kidding right?" She squinted and I glared at her.

"Come on! you have exams next week and you know what happens if you fail to score all As" she stated.

I knew that well.

"You know what that diary meant to me!" I exclaimed.

That diary had things I never told anyone. My fears, my happiness, my feeling and above all my secrets! I sure couldn't lose it in my worst nightmares.

"I know but you know how hard you worked to get admission in LA. And if you don't get it you won't be able to join the company either! You can't miss it" she said looking at me.

I looked at her with sad eyes. She was right.

"Okay fine!" she rolled her eyes and I smiled.

I loved her.

"But in case if we don't find it you will forget about it and concentrate on your studies" she said.

I looked at her wanting to protest but finally nodded.

We searched it everywhere but couldn't find it anywhere.

"Where the hell did you keep it?" She said exhausted.

"I don't know the last time I had it was yesterday when I went to the nearby.. park" I squinted.

The park! We looked at each other,  and I knew she was thinking the same and we both nodded.

"Let's go!" She said and we headed out to the park.

The park was about five minutes away. We walked down the road and in no time we stood at the entrance of the park.

We raced towards the place where I was sitting yesterday writing my diary. We searched around it, the bushes, the trash bins, everywhere but it was nowhere to be found.

"I give up" May said sitting on the wooden bench, panting from the sudden hustle and bustle.

I felt bad for her. Maybe it was time to let go of my dear diary.

"It's okay." I assured her.

"Let go home I will be late" I said smiling.

I hope the one who found it never reads it!

*flashback ends*

I looked out the car window letting the cool breeze wash my face. The view of the sea was amazing. Once in a while a tree or two would whiz past as the car accelerated down the road.

Jungkook told us that we would be going to a beach. So I just wore a pair of denim shorts and a long sleeved plain white shirt and grabbed a hat and of course sunglasses. Rest all wore shorts and floral shirts except for Jungkook and Yoongi, who were wearing plain white and blue shirts. They wore hats too. Beach boys. I had to admit they looked real good.

Jungkook was busy driving. Closer by The Chainsmokers was on. Namjoon was on the front seat humming. Jimin was sitting beside me and Jin on his side. Hoseok, Yoongi and Taehyung took the back seat of the minivan. The one they drove to my office.

"Welcome to Malibu!" Jungkook squealed from the driver's seat.

"How did you know about this place?" Jin said leaning forward, quite impressed.

"Google Hyung" he chuckled.

Impressive.

He parked the car and we got out and stood there waiting for the guide, well kind of.

"Welcome!"

We turned around and found a old aged man walking towards us with a huge grin on his face. I noticed Jungkook smiling at him too and realized he was the guide, probably.

"Hello David" Jungkook bowed and shook his hand.

"Kookie, who is this Ajusshi?" Hoseok whispered to Jungkook.

Jungkook's name was Kookie? Aww.. Suits him.

"Who is Ajushhi?" I asked Jimin.

"That's how we call elderly people in Korea" he said and I nodded.

"Follow me young lads" David said and glanced at me, "and my dear lady" he added with a warm smile.

I found myself blushing at the word lady. No one ever called me that. I gave him a smile and nodded. We followed him through the wooden gate and we entered a private residential area.

"David lives here" Jungkook said walking beside me.

Others were walking behind us taking photos while Namjoon was busy talking with David trying to know more about the place.

"Why are we going to a beach? What will happen if someone recognizes you guys?" I asked frowning and he smiled.

"Don't worry about that." He said with a smile. "The beach where we are heading is a private beach. Not many people are allowed to go there" he said explaining.

He sure did a lot of research about the place.

We walked for 20 more minute before we reached the location.

"Here we are" David said.

There was a moment of silence as everyone stood there taking in the beauty of the place. The sun was high. The sea laid ahead of us, small waves washed the shore one after the other. It was beautiful.

"Wow!" Jimin exclaimed walking ahead.

I looked at Jungkook beside me. He looked at me and smiled. And to be honest, his smile took my heart. It always did. He looked angelic.

"It's beautiful" I said staring at his lips and he smiled. Only if he knew I was talking about his smile.

"Let's go" he said locking his fingers into mine.

I immediately looked down at our hands in surprise. His gaze found mine and his grip loosened but to my surprise my grip tightened making him stop. A swarm of emotions rushed through my mind making my heart beat faster. I didn't knew what was happening. Everything seemed to have stopped for a moment except for the tingling sensation I was feeling within me due to the mess of feelings.

"Hey let's go" Namjoon said patting on my shoulder pulling me out of my thoughts.

I looked at our hands and then at Jungkook. His eyes admired the sea while his lips curved into a smile. I smiled at him. It was strange but to my surprise my heart had calmed.
