Sorry if it's confusing for you guys, but I sometimes change point of views about three times in the chapter, to get to the point faster and so there aren't too many chapters.

Dear Journal,
For the record, I would never talk to my mother the way I did last night, but it was out of anger. *** How could she just push away the ones that cared about her most, then just when things are going good, she walks back in, swallows my dad's face, takes over breakfast with Dad, dinner as well, and to make things worse, she reorganizes my room.
She hurt me. I looked up to her, but she started ignoring Dad and me like we didn't matter. ***Though they're divorced, they still should have each other's backs. Now she's trying to sweeten him up by accompanying him in these lonely nights, and now she's on her way for me too. Right now, I just need time to myself, to think about all of this.
That's all for now, Journal. ♡∞
Right on time, Jack was down the hall, putting books in his locker; I guess he finally got a new one, or Tess was kind enough to give him his own back.
But that would never happen, so he must have gotten his own himself.
"Finally got a locker I see." I said, as he emptied his locker with dignity.
"Yeah, I paid Jimmy Warren twenty bucks for his locker. If I went another day without a locker, I don't think I would live to see another day.
"Yeah, too bad your girlfriend had to take yours. I'm really sorry about that."
"It's cool." Tess is just... Tess.
"Well, anyways, I wanted to talk to you about Tess."
"Well, what about her?" He said, slamming his locker.
"Well, she's a cheerleader, and you are a-"
"Musician."
"Seriously? You're a musician?" I said stunned.
"Yeah, I sing and play the acoustics. Surprised."
"Well, yeah. Who knew?"
"Actually, Tess. She said to keep it between the two of us so girls aren't all over me."
"It seems that everything goes right back to Tess, but why would she keep you from doing what you love?"
"I don't know, that's Tess for you. But deep down, she's sweet, sensitive-
"Yeah, keep thinking that." I said stopping him form continuing those lies.
"You're funny. Anyways, I gotta get going, I'll see you next period." He said walking away.
Then I realized.
I never told him about Cam and I.
Dangit.

Who could concentrate on the impeachment of Andrew Johnson, where there was a beautiful brunette angel in front of my eyes, and then there's Tess right across from me.
But I can't shake Madison out of my head, she's some kind of fairy flying around, sprinkling images of her beautiful face in my brain.
"Jack!" Tess said, thumping my head, shaking me out of my thoughts?
"What?" I snapped at her. Bad decision.
"What was that, baby?" Tess said, louder. "Did you just shout at me?"
"I said 'what', Tess. Why'd the hell did you do that?" I said feeling my head.
"Well maybe I was trying to get your attention. You should really focus in class." She said chewing her bubble gum.
"Well maybe you should worry about yourself." I said. Again, another bad decision I made.
But lucky me, Tess remained quiet, but I knew I'd pay for this later, she may be only 5'3, but she can still kick butt, let me remind you that she is a cheerleader.
Meanwhile, Madison saw the whole thing, and remained quiet as well.

Though that was a pretty awkward class I just had with Jack and Tess, something did look like he was truly thinking about something, but for now I'll keep my nose out of it.
"Sup Madison, aren't you gonna get in line, they have enchiladas today." Nash said sitting down at the table.
"Nah, I gotta talk to Cameron about something?" I said shaking a little.
"What? About Jack? Cameron will be okay. He just not used to not being the center of attention."
"What you mean Nash?"
"Well, Jack is the new boy, he's tall, good-looking, the girls love the way his voice sounds, and he can sing and play the guitar. That's pretty hard to beat."
"But Cameron is amazing as well."
"You know that, and I know that, but tell that to Jack. He seems like a cool guy." Nash said finishing his enchilada.
"Where is everybody?" I said, noticing we were the only two at the table.
"Cameron's getting an extra-credit assignment, and Macy and Carter are probably making out in the janitor's closet." Nash said.
"Gross. I can't imagine Carter doing that." I said, getting the chills.
"Yeah, we can't imagine him doing anything besides playing with his chopsticks." ***Nash said being his racist self.
Soon, Tess came over to our table. It wasn't the best feeling, but at least it got rid of some of the empty spaces around us. Though she looks like she only weighs 90lbs.
"Hey Madison, your friend did amazing yesterday." Tess said a bit too cheery.
"Thanks Tess." I said, hoping that would make her go away.
"Yeah, for some reason, Jack just couldn't stop talking about her, as in her friend, which just so happens to be you." Tess said looking at her manicure.
"So what?" I said confused.
"I'm warning you to stay away from my boyfriend, or you won't live to see another day." Tess said, getting all in my face.
"Is that a threat?"
"No, not a threat, but a promise." She said rolling her eyes, then smiling mischievously when she noticed Nash. "How ya doing Nash?"
"I'm okay." He said wiping his mouth.
"Yeah, it's a shame you and my cousin didn't work out, you guys would've been adorbs, but us together, wouldn't killed it even more." Tess said swooping closer to him.
"Your cousin? Who would that me?"
"Brooklynn Peters."
It all made sense now.

There was no way I'd be sitting at lunch while Jack is probably there trying to flirt with Madison. His looks are amazing (don't tell anyone I said that), but he has more to him that could still Madison away from me. He's like the total package, and before then, I was the total package. As a boyfriend, you should want what's best for girlfriend, and she'd rather have Jack then me, I'm supposed to let her go. But other than my mom, she's the second most important woman in my life, and I can't just let her go. I love her. Eight months' worth of a relationship is what we have, and letting that go, would be my biggest devastation.
I have no idea where this poetic side of me came from, but the bottom line is, if I can't keep Jack away from Madison, I'll have to keep Madison away from him.

It all made sense why Tess was so evil, and so similar to Brooklynn, for all I know, Brooklynn could've been coaching her all this time to be a jerk. For her looks, Tess seems so sweet and fragile, but she's filled with arrogance, and attitude.
I haven't talked to Mom since last night, I'm hoping I didn't upset her and she left without saying goodbye, or she's probably in Dad's room weeping that her perfect little angel has grown up and finally told her how she feels. Mom was always there for me, even when she was away. She have me advice, she sent me letters, and she even travelled down here every now and then to stay with me for the weekend.
But now she's staying for a week.
And I'm not sure I'm okay with it.

Question 4: If a genie appeared to grant you one wish, what would it be, not including more wishes or money, what would you wish for? I'd wish to spend the day with a celebrity or have a healthy sucessful future.
